~Y/N POV~

Waking up from my dream with Jin, I found the day to be just like any other day.

Getting up, showered, dressed and of course sending Jungkook a little morning wave through the bedroom window which he waved back to me like he does.

Then getting breakfast just to be ready for the day and meeting Jungkook outside in front of our houses. Well he waits for me in front of my gate since he always seems to beat me lately and together we walk to school together.

Walking side my side just making small talk. I try to talk to him about what classes he has today but he was barely speak to me so I just put that down to him being tired. In fact he barely he looked at me while walking to school which was odd.

I didn't do anything wrong did I?

Shaking that from my thoughts, we walked into school together as always now and went our separate ways since our morning classes were different. I had chemistry and he had computing studies which was a bumper but I knew I would meet up with him at lunch.

When it came to lunch we sat together but again, he barely spoke to me like he's been doing the last week. I felt like he was starting to open up more to me at lunch around other people watching us but apparently not.

I would talk about homework I got and try and ask him about his but he would only give me dead end answers that would be hard to keep up conversation. So in the end we ended up eating lunch together in silence until our classes started up again.

Only did I see him in two classes today and since our last class was together I made sure to leave with him because once we were dismissed I made sure to link arms with him so I didn't lose him in the crowd of people getting ready to go home so eagerly.

I already said good bye to my friends and again ignored Taehyungs jealous glare towards Jungkook. But when Jungkook noticed on our way out the school building he chuckled and smirked to myself to see Taehyung reaction and made sure to pull me close to his side which I of course let him do.

Together walking out of school grounds I was starting to get frustrated with the sudden silence coming from him all day so I had to ask him what the problem was.

Letting go of his arm did I jump in front of him, forcing him to stop in his steps and I placed my hands to his chest to stop him with more force but he did stop and let out a small gasp.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook

"We need to talk."

His eyes grew and he took a step back as I removed my hands from his chest.

"About what?" Jungkook

I gave him a 'are you serious' type of look and sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of my nose.

"Your silence Jungkook."

"But I'm always quiet. You know what, especially at school." Jungkook

I shook my head at him as I looked up to him just to see him looking around us to see if anyone was watching.

"What are you looking for? Did you loose something?"

Jungkook's eyes sprung back to me and he shook his head, protesting to that idea.

"No, no. I was just making sure no one was watching us." Jungkook

"Well you didn't seem to mind Taehyung watching us. So what's your deal?"

His sad eyes bore back into my own, sensing that insecurity coming from him again when he break the eye contact to look down to his shoes and exhale.

"I sometimes think that I'm not good enough to be your friend Y/n. You're popular, smart and beautiful and yet you're hanging around me the loner dork boy from school." Jungkook

I blinked back at him for several seconds, allowing him to squirm under my stare until I took that extra step forward and cupped his cheeks to force him to look at me.

"We've already been through this Jungkook. I want to be your friend because I like you, never mind what others think of it. Plus you shouldn't put yourself down, you're not the loner dork boy at school. You're the most handsomest guy in that school and not to mention the most intelligent. You're better than what you think and if you put your mind to things I'm certain you will achieve what you want to in life if you put your mind to it."

I smiled up at the guy just to kiss his cheek and finally let him go, stepping back to witness his rosy cheeks on his face as he looks down to the floor again, biting his lip as if to try and suppress it from appearing.

"And by the way did you call me beautiful?"

He shrugged at first but very slowly did he look up from the floor back up to my face allowing his smile to appear lightly.

"You called me handsome. So we're even." Jungkook

I paused for a moment, thinking back to what I said, those words running through my mind until I remembered that I did.

"Okay yeah, we're even then. Now lets go home."

Grabbing his hand he allowed me to tug on it to start walking home side by side holding hands and this time he was more talkative on the way home than he was all day. I guess he was having one of his insecure days but if he ever needs something to pick him back up he's got me to help with that. I think I'll need to make that more clearer for him so he can confidently tell his problems and I can help him feel better.

Now coming back to our houses we stopped by the shared fence that splits our houses gardens down the side of the house. I tried to let go of his hand but instead he just held it tighter, refusing to let me go but when I looked up to his face he was fully staring down at our joined hands, with no expression on his face to tell me what he was thinking.

"Jungkook?"

I called his name to snap him out of his thoughts which thankfully worked. Shaking his head, he blinked several times just to force out a smile after taking a deep breath.

"Y/n I would like to ask you something, is that okay?" Jungkook

"You asked me a question just to ask another?"

I laughed and he took a moment to think about it, looking up to the side next to us on the side walk and then giggled about it himself nodding once he caught on.

"Yeah I guess so." Jungkook

"Well yes you can ask me something."

He nods again, pressing his lips together just to grab my other hand and his and swing our paired hands side to side. I could tell he was nervous judging by the look on his face and the nervous laughter he let out but he can really ask me anything he wants to. I'll answer whatever it is.

"Would you......will you erm.go out on a date with me?" Jungkook

Quickly did he spit out the last part of his question but I caught it thankfully. Although if he said it any faster I wouldn't of heard what he said.

"Yes I'll go on a date with you Jungkook. I'll go anywhere with you."

He smiled so wide, his rare bunny smile came to show and I just melted as I always do in seeing that smile. But he doesn't have a clue just how serious I am about what I said. If Jungkook asked me to move country with him I fucking would without question.

I'm hooked on this boy and he doesn't even know it yet.
