Chapter Zero, Part One
"Do you really think we should be doing this?"
"What, are you having second thoughts on this?"
"No, no not at all, but-"
"Good. Then let's get this started."

Hope's Peak Academy. The school for students who are the best of the best at their talents.
It's also the last place Chika Emiko remembers going inside of before she woke up.
Chika didn't know where she was. She just suddenly woke up in a moving building-she couldn't identify what it was exactly-all alone.
"Where...where am I?" She said, quietly to herself. Chika got up from the floor, her legs wobbling. This definitely isn't Hope's Peak. Chika thought to herself. She looked around the room.
There was a small screen on the wall, near the vent in the upper right corner. Even if she wanted to reach it to investigate it, she wasn't tall enough to. Plus, there didn't appear to be a step latter in the room.
There weren't any windows, from what Chika had seen. There was curtains, though Chika peered behind them and there were just pictures of a weird cat mascot of some sort.
There was a bed near where Chika had awoken. Couldn't I have just been on the bed? Chika said, shaking her head, before reminding herself that she shouldn't be concerned with that at the moment.
In the left corner, there was a closet, and what appeared to be a door near it. She peered into the door.
Ah, Chika thought to herself, soon shutting the door. It's just the bathroom.
She opened the closet next to the door, and it was filled with sewing materials and lots of dresses along with other outfits. For some reason, it felt familiar to Chika.
Chika decided not to ponder it, and closed the closet shut. There wasn't anything else left in the room, and she was getting quite bored already. Suddenly, she heard a flicker, and soon someone speaking.
"Ahem, ahem." The voice said, and Chika's attention immediately turned to the source, the screen from earlier.
She was met with the same weird cat mascot from earlier, sitting on a chair and looking rather relaxed.
"What the hell?" Chika whispered to herself, as the cat went on.
"Is this thing on?" It said. "If it's not, your loss! Annyyyways, please head out of the whatever car you're in and into the meeting car! I'll be waiting for youu!" The screen flickered off, and Chika sighed.
It's not like he's forcing us to go, She thought to herself as she exited the room. It's probably better to go, anyways. Also, he said "cars"? Are we on a train or something?
Chika walked down the hall, soon seeing another person exiting one of the other rooms. That person looked over at her, and waved.
"Hey! Uhm, you over there!" The person suddenly shouted towards her. "Do you know where we are and where the meeting car is?" The person questioned her.
"Hold on a second! I need to get over there first!" She shouted back, soon walking over to them. They sure are something.
When she approached the person, Chika got a good look at them. The person was a guy around her age, with brown short hair and square-framed glasses. He wore a dark yellow sweater with sunflowers on it tucked into jeans. The sweater sat over a white turtle neck. Overall, the guy just looked like a dork to Chika.
"To answer your question, I don't know where we are." She asked cheerfully. "Also, I don't know where the meeting car is."
"Oh." He said, looking down at the ground for a second before piping up again and looking at Chika again. "Well, wanna find it with me?"
"Oh!" She was surprised. "Sure!"
The guy pumped the air with a "Yes!" before saying, "C'mon, let's go!"
He started to walk off, Chika following him, before he abruptly stopped, and turned to Chika.
"Oh, by the way, I'm Hansuke Hikaru, the ultimate Florist!" He said happily, extending a hand to Chika. "And you are?"
"Chika Emiko," She said, shaking his hand. "I'm the ultimate dressmaker!"
"Oo, cool!" He said, before turning around again and letting go of her hand. "Now, let's find that car!"
It didn't take them long to find the car. There was a door on one of the ends of the dorm car labeled "To Meeting Car".
Chika swung open the door, and the pair were met with a small bridge between two train cars. The bridge led to a door, labeled "Entrance To The Meeting Car".
"Uhm, Chika?" Hansuke started to say. "I think we should go now. It's kinda...dark and windy."
Hansuke was correct. It was pitch black out there and the wind was blowing rather harshly.
"That's...probably something we should be doing." She said, before crossing the bridge, Hansuke right behind her.
She reached the door, opening it and rushing inside, Hansuke coming in behind her. They were met with an open area, a stage at the front of it. Besides that, there were about fourteen other people their age there, anticipating what will come next.
"Ah, you two!" One person suddenly said to them, approaching the pair. The teen had a mask over their mouth, so Chika could only assume that they were talking to her and Hansuke since their mouth was covered. "What took you two so long? Are you both in poor health? Did you get injured? If so, I can assist and-"
"They're fine, Ren." A boy suddenly chimed in, placing a hand on the teen's shoulder, who apparently was named Ren. "Besides, it's not like they got decapitated. They don't want to get a-head of themselves."
Chika let out a snort and the person who was apparently named Ren gave an annoyed look towards the guy but Ren seemed amused.
The guy approached Chika and Hansuke extending a hand for them to shake. "The name's Ichiro Kato! I'm the ultimate jester! It's nice to meet you both."
Hansuke shook Ichiro's hand, soon letting out a small "Ow!"
"Was that an electric buzzer?" Hansuke asked, Ichiro shrugging his shoulders, in response.
"Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't." He said, then he pointed over to the person from before. "Oh, and that's Ren Ota. They're the ultimate Doctor."
Ren gave the three a small wave, before speaking. "Hello. Are you guys also ultimates?"
"Yep!" Hansuke answered for the both of them. "I'm Hansuke Hikaru, the ultimate florist, and she's Chika Emiko, the ultimate...." He paused, looking at Chika, before asking, "What's your ultimate again?"
"Oh! I'm the ultimate dressmaker." Chika said with a smile.
"Dressmaker, huh?" Ren said, raising their eyebrows. "That's pretty nice. I'll make sure I come to you if I ever need a dress made."
Before Chika could respond, suddenly a girl with black hair with bright pink streaks wrapped into pigtails came infront of her and started talking to her.
"Hi, I'm Tamiko Kaneko, the ultimate spraypaint artist!" She said, almost too excited. "I hope we can be great friends...." She paused, seemingly drawing a blank. "What's your name?"
"Oh! I'm Chika Emiko! It's nice to-"
"Ooo Chika!" She said, cutting her off. Her eyes seemed to sparkle almost. "That's a really pretty name! It suits you! You're really pretty!"
"Oh!" A blush appeared on Chika's cheeks. "Thank you, I-"
She bounced away, cutting Chika off yet again.
"She sure is...something!" Hansuke said to Chika, since the pair were now alone. "I'm going to go introduce myself to the others now, if you don't mind splitting up, that is. Since you're so attached to me." Hansuke teased, before walking off.
Chika glanced at everyone in the room. I wonder who I should introduce myself to first. She thought to herself, before settling on someone.
Chika strolled over to a girl, who looked vaguely familiar. The girl looked annoyed, and rich as well. She had brown, wavy hair, going down to her waist. The girl wore a pink, sleeveless dress that ended just above her knees.
As soon as she saw Chika, she let out an annoyed sigh. "Don't bother asking who I am or what my talent is." She said, clearly annoyed. "You probably already know already."
Suddenly, the realization hit her. "You're Queen Alice Milbourne, right?" Chika suddenly said. "Can you-"
"Give me an autograph? Is that what you're going to say?" Alice interrupted, suddenly snapping at her. "Sorry, I'm not interested. Only creeps want those.
"Anyways, if you're wondering what my talent is it's being a queen." Alice looked almost bored just from saying it. "I don't really get it myself. I guess I'm just that perfect at being queen I guess."
Alice stared down Chika for a couple seconds. "You're cute. For a peasant, that is. Anyways, go shine some shoes or something."
Chika, frankly annoyed at Alice at this point, walked away, off to talk to someone else.
And to think, she's nice on camera. Chika thought, shaking her head slightly.
She approached a guy, with a bunch of scissors on his waist. Chika personally thought that was weird but she didn't judge.
"Hi, I'm Chika Emiko, the ultimate dressmaker. Who are you?" She greeted him happily, and very straightforwardly.
"Greetings." He said, rather formally. "I am Arakan Nakaya, the ultimate hairdresser. It's a pleasure to meet you. Nice haircut, by the way."
"Oh, why thank you!" She smiled. Chika didn't really know what else to say after that, so the two just stood in silence for a second before Chika left, off to talk to someone else.
