MISSING ↵

"I feel like I haven't seen you in forever," Lily told her best friend, hurt.

It was an early Monday morning and Lily had plopped down on the bench beside Seren, startling the brunette girl.

"I'm so sorry, Lils." Seren gushed, pulling Lily into a tight hug. She closed her eyes, trying not to think of what happened recently. "It's just so weird, I've been trying to forget what's been happening–"

"Yeah," Lily's eyes narrowed in suspicion at Seren's blabber, pulling away from the hug to glare.  "I've heard two things: you're dating Lucius Malfoy? And you're friends with Sirius and James?"

Seren laughed nervously, pulling away from her friend. Her hand rose to tuck her brown hair behind her ears and she noticed how she was shaking slightly.

"Lils," Seren sniffled. Maybe it was a good thing to cry. "I don't know what to do."

Lily face immediately softened at the distress of her friend. "Oh, Seren."

"Oi, what's wrong Seren?" The girl in question froze at the footsteps that approached her, before pulling onto the wooden bench in front of the two girls. Seren squeezed her eyes shut, why did she have to cry so much?

"Piss off, Potter." Lily grabbed ahold of her best friend and pulled her up from the table as if the trio of boys beside the girls were

"Ren," Seren stiffened at the warm touch on her arm and she turned to see a worried Sirius. "Are you okay?"

She smiled at the tall stature of Sirius, "I'm okay. Thanks for asking."

The tugging on her other arm made her realise Lily was still trying to escape the hall and James Potter. Seren peeked around Sirius to see James and Peter, but no Remus.

Seren stepped closer to Sirius until she was close enough to whisper.

"Where the hell is Remus?"
