a story of inevitable and tragedy

Hello everyone.

This is the end of Desmettre-Destinata but the beginning of a new era. For me, for you and for us.

This story, this life is really intimate to me. There's too much home in all this. This story is very much alive and the Min Yoongi, the version of him in this story is very much alive too. This is a story of not just me, or not just of a reckless soul, this is our story and we have the right to live this story in our way.

Idea of this story is a collection of moments I cradle very close to my heart. Watching HYYH Epilogue to drafting a little something, to meeting my moment --caramel and her helping me out with such an astounding name Desmettre-Destinata ─ just a little something, becoming my everything.

Mystery behind Desmettre-Destinata is a story in itself. Desmettre cuddles close to someone's fall, or as I wish to interpret it : Demise whereas Destinata kissed the inevitable intimately, making Destiny the woman clad in all black : Min Yoongi's inevitable. Our inevitable.

Now to the real story:

1. Min Yoongi survives the fall. Yes. Min Yoongi survives but not as the same old Min Yoongi. Not as the reckless and ignorant Yoongi but as a new someone who's trying to be a better human. The letter he writes to his father in the epilogue is the letter of realisation where he writes to the protagonist in his story : his father, a letter where he thinks of him as a cause of the birth of a new him. Because he realises that he does not wish to become another breathing version of his father.

2. The woman he meets at uncanny places is destiny. Destiny that comes to warn him of his foul deeds that tempts his doom whether it be his nasty habits of smoking or seeking escape by getting himself dragged into street fights.

3. 'He' in chapter II is actually Jeongguk. A man of deceit is something that Yoongi is called in the chapter which connects closer to him being unknown to his own self. He was unknown to his own self, the real him so he blindly ended up trusting the deceitful him. Yoongi was never able to walk on the path of self-discovery because he always thought that apple doesn't fall far from a tree. This never irked him. For him every deed he commited was something he was bound to do. This is his truth but never an escape. If you think that pain is what you deserve, or there's no way out because everything's happening with you is destined, I am telling you think again. Look around you, the world is breaking the norms, so why can't you?

4. The reason why there are sudden errors in letter and sensor on the curse words is me unveiling how Yoongi is trying his best to let go of the old him. Habits don't break easily. It's not a change if it's not for yourself. Yoongi wishes to let go of the version that made him break apart brutally from his home, his friends, his everything. Yoongi not signing off as himself is because he does not wish to associate himself anymore with the version that died in the fire, thus making him seek a new name for he thinks it will make him a better person.

5. Who do you think saved Yoongi? If there's no escape from death then how did he survived? He survived because he wished to live. Forget about the same old Yoongi who only understood the language of violence and profanities. See that Yoongi who still kept the same old hideous haircut because he was scared to let go of the memories. Think of him as someone who still cradled those polaroids close to his chest. His everything, his friends, his home were the one who saved him. Who got him back from the lick of fire.

P U R P O S E

Purpose of this story is what makes every moment intimate and homely because this is the story of youth.

The desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise is the definition of temptation according to Google. Something wrong and unwise is that enticing energy that tempt people to do commit inadequate deeds. Maybe this was the temptation that made Yoongi a reckless 19 year boy. That made him do every unwise thing that a mother will loathe. That made the inevitable, destiny knock at the door of his house, not because he fell in the traps of temptation but because he ignored the aftermaths falling into that temptation which got to him.

We are all victims of temptation. We often end up falling into it. Sometimes it comes in as "this will make me cool" or as "one time won't hurt" until it becomes an endless cycle of 'just this once' and unfortunately, end up hurting a lot not only to the ones fallen into it but the people around them too.

Peer pressure, toxic companionship, a desire to experience what everyone does, trying to fit in the "trend" tempts someone to such a lethal extent that in no time they fall hard and irrevocably in it with no way out.

The purpose, the story of this book is to bring in a message to not let yourself be prey to the temptation. Break those friendships that makes you suffocate. Get away, run away fast from the companions who are toxic. Run from anything that causes you angst. Save yourself from the fall of Icarus and when sure it's safe, try to educate the ones around you too.

Smoking, Drinking, Consuming alcohol, Picking fights is not a trend. It can never be a trend. Something that is having power to cause harm and hurt can never be pronounced as a trend or cool whatsoever. Please seek professional help and therapy when necessary. These should not be ignored.
