I slowly open my eyes. I move uncomfortably to my side but something stops me, something heavy. My eyes adapt to the bright light that comes from the window and I'm able to distinguish what's around me, Jungkook's apartment. I smile, noticing that I forgot I had stayed the night here.

I turn my head and look at the person who's next to me. Jungkook is fully asleep, his breathing is deep, and his chest rises and falls slowly. I stare at him breathlessly, not being able to believe how I'm with him. His features are relaxed; I've never seen him this way. The way his dark eyebrows frame his straight and manly nose, the way his lips are slightly pink and very tempting, and way his tattoos reflect the morning sunlight...

I move his arm to the side slowly and wiggle my way out of his arms so that I can sit up. I stand up from the bed with caution and I start to pick up my clothes from the floor. The memories invade my mind and I smile, happy with what happened.

I change quickly and I watch how my cellphone lights up on top of the table. I take it in my hands and the moment my eyes scan the screen, I feel like if I'm going to have a heart attack.

Dad:
Call me right now.

10 missed calls from Dad.
16 missed calls from Hyerin.

Did something happen? Is my father okay?

That instant, my phone starts to vibrate in my hand. The face of Hyerin appears on my phone and I answer without evern thinking twice.

"Hello?" I ask confused.

"Tell me you haven't talked to your father." She says with a tone full of fear.

"Why? Is he okay?" I exclaim, scared, squeezing my phone with force.

"Yes, he's okay... he called my mom." She lets out nervously. "She told him that you weren't at my house, and he went crazy. He called you a bunch of times but you weren't answering, so he came to my house desperately. He interrogated me for what seemed like hours, but I didn't say anything. Right now he's still looking for you. He hasn't called you?"

Her words hit me so hard with force, that it makes me think that a kick to the face would hurt less than this.

This can't be happening.

I run my free hand through my face and the desire I have to cry is so large that I have to take a few deep breaths to control myself. What will I tell my father? Will I have to come clean about my relationship with Jungkook?

"Areum? Are you there?" My best friend says worriedly.

"Yeah, I... I have to go, I'll call you later." I'm able to articulate after a few seconds of silence.

I hang up before hearing her say something else. Everything has gone to hell. My father is probably going crazy and he probably won't let me go out until I'm thirty years old. I turn to Jungkook and I debate with myself internally if I should wake him up or not.

I sit on the bed, trying to calm my nerves. I feel him move around in the bed sheets and he looks at me closely through half closed eyes.

He smiles.

"Have you been awake for a long time, love?"

The small nickname that comes out of his lips paralyzes me for a few seconds, not knowing what to say. Jungkook comes closer to me and wraps me around in his strong arms, kissing the space between my neck and shoulder. I sigh, resigned; being with him is driving me crazy.

I turn my head to face him.

"Love, huh?"

He laughs.

"You don't like it?"

"I love it." I say and kiss him softly. "But... I just got myself into a huge mess and I should really go."

"What happened?" He asks worriedly.

"My father found out that I wasn't at Hyerin's house." I bite my lip nervously and I feel how he tenses. "I don't know what I'm going to tell him, I bet he's going crazy not knowing where I am."

He nods with a frown.

"It's fine, I'll take you."

"What? No!" I shriek, scared. "That will just complicate things more."

"Are you going to tell him the truth?"

"Do I have another option?" I ask and I see disappointment on his face. "It's not that I don't want to; it's just that I would have wanted it to be during a better time... in a way where he wouldn't be angry with me."

"Areum, I've told you hundreds of times to talk to your father. You're old enough, he should be able to understand and accept the fact that you can go out with anyone, just as long as you're safe." He stands up from the bed and I do the same. "And either way, what will he do? Prohibit you from seeing me? You're going to graduate high school in a few months, you'll go to university and you'll be able to do whatever you want with your time."

Jungkook quickly changes into his clothes in front of me, when he's done, he leaves the room. He's right. I should talk and try to reason with my father, and I suppose he'll understand. The problem is that there's a lot of things he doesn't know, like the fact that Taehyung isn't my boyfriend anymore, and that Jungkook is, and the fact that I hid that for a few months already.

"I should go." I say and walk towards the kitchen where I find him drinking a glass of water. "I'm sorry that I won't be able to stay for breakfast."

He smiles.

"Sleeping in the same bed as me was like a dream to me."

I get closer to him and hug him, leaving my head against his chest. I'm shorter in comparison to him, and when I place my ear on his naked torso, I'm able to hear the fast beating of his heart. I don't need to listen to my own to know it's beating at the same speed or maybe even faster.

I separate myself from him and then kiss him slowly.

"I love you." He says playfully.

"I love you more." I tell him with a smile.

He raises an eyebrow.

"Impossible."

I laugh and deposite another short kiss on his lips. I want to get out of his hold, but his strong arms don't permit me. I want to stay here all day, but I know I can't. I have to face something more worrisome.

"I should really go..." I mumble against his lips. "I have to talk to my father."

He lets me go and scoffs.

"I know, you have to clear things up..."

I walk backwards towards the door and he holds my hand. The look in his eyes begs me to stay, and I wish I could, but I can't.

"Jungkook..."

"Yeah, I know..." He let's go of my hand. "Goodbye."

I smile at him before opening the door and leaving the apartment. The smile I have on my face evaporates when I walk down the stairs quickly. I have to talk to my father, and I know that it's going to be a long and unpleasant talk.
