That man drove me crazy, in more ways than I imagined. His touch turned me into a different person, he made me want things that I didn't know I wanted before. I liked him, maybe too much, and that was a problem too. No matter how much he's opened up to me, he's always been distant and somewhat cold person. Probably because of the life he's had, everything he's been through, with his mom and his dead ex girlfriend.

I don't judge him. Each person needs time, especially when it comes to love. He asked for time, and that's what I was going to give him. Just thinking about the topic makes me feel like if I'm sinking into a small depression and sadness. It sadness me thinking that he doesn't know what he feels about me, but there's nothing that I can do about it. Simply wait, and try to be okay.

The last few days have just been impossible. The week passed by like a breeze, as well as today, Saturday, that I spent at the diner with my father, waiting and serving tables. Everything was normal and this afternoon when we arrived home, my father laid down to watch TV and immediately fell asleep.

I was so tired that I couldn't even think; my legs hurt and my muscles were tense from walking from one place to another. I sat down on the couch and started to change the channels on the TV without really knowing what to watch. Cooking and crime channels, the news and other boring things were everything I saw.

My phone vibrates and I see Hyerin's face on the screen. I don't answer. For the day and the hour, almost ten o'clock at night, I knew why she was calling. My friend is very obvious.

But when the call ended, it started again... and again, and again. Until it stopped, and my home phone started to ring. I stood up immediately and ran to it, because if it rang one more time, my father would wake up.

"Damn it, Hyerin, I'm going to kill you."

I hear her laugh and the sound of loud background music. "Areum, I need you, please."

"I'm really tired, really, I have to sleep." I beg making a pout.

"Jungkook is here and he wants to see you!" She says excitedly.

I roll my eyes. "If he wanted to see me, he would've called me."

"Areum, you know how he is, he hides his feelings and..." The sound of the loud music become muffled all of a sudden. "I am in the bathroom, can you hear me better?"

"Yes, but either way, I won't go." I say with my forehead against the wall.

"Please, I'm the only girl here. I'm like a piece of fresh meat." She begs again. "Please, please..."

"Well tell your other friend to go with you."

"Areum!" She shrieks loudly that it almost breaks my speaker. "Please, come with me, I need my best friend..."

I hated her tone of voice and how she affected me. I was always there for Hyerin, even in these types of situations. But ultimately she's been dragging me into things matter how I feel, and things like meeting Jungkook will happen.

"Fine, I'll go in a bit..." I sigh, defeated. "Send me the address."

"I love you!" She screams emotionally. "I promise... I'll do whatever you want. I'll see you later!"

She hangs up and I put the phone back in it's place. Resigned, I walk up to my room and change into something decent. I leave a note on top of my dresser explaining to my father that I would be going out and staying at Hyerin's house for the night. I don't think he'll wake up until tomorrow, because he looked like if he was in a really deep sleep since he was very tired.

I take a taxi and tell the driver exactly where to take me. He takes me there without any problems, and when I get there, I regret coming.

The place is full of people, more than normal. But before I can actually regret it, the taxi leaves me there with all the drunk people.

I find myself looking for a familiar face, and the first one I see is Jimin's. I get closer to him, and as soon as he sees me, he smiles.

"Areum!" His voice sounds slurred and that's all it takes for me to know that he's been drinking. "I owe Hyerin ten dollars, I thought you wouldn't come."

"She has that kind of effect on me." I shrug my shoulders.

He nods. "Believe me, I get you, she can be kind of... intense."

"You tell me." I respond and put my hands in my sweater. "How are things with you guys?"

"Good, I think... I like her a lot, but I don't know..."

"What don't you know?" I ask worriedly.

"I don't know if she likes me as much as I like her... You know?" He takes a sip of his drink, I assume it's beer.

"She likes you a lot, and maybe she behaves like that because she's also doubting your feelings. She's scared to open up, I suppose."

"You came!"

Jimin is about to talk when Hyerin's scream cuts him off. He was about to say something, but he stays quiet. My friend clings on to me with force and I laugh. She's always in a good mood and with so much energy.

"I told you I would come." I say pretending to be offended.

"Yeah, but Jimin didn't, so now he owes me ten dollars."

Jimin shakes his head "Very funny."

"What did I miss?" A low voice says.

Jungkook looks at us curiously, but serious. He looks at me but I look away. I couldn't stand seeing him. I was mad, I was heartbroken and if that wasn't enough, he didn't even consider writing or calling me once.

"I owe Hyerin ten dollars." He says with all the naturality in the world, trying to suppress the awkwardness. "Because she always wins bets."

Jungkook nods and steals a sip from Jimin's drink. His gaze draws back to me, but he doesn't say anything.

"You want something to drink?" Hyerin says with a smile.

I nod. "Yes, but... can you come inside with me?"

"Sure." He responds, noticing my indirect gestures. "Boys, we'll be back."

We turn around and walk far away from them. Hyerin clings to my arm and smiles.

"We're going to have such a good time tonight." She says and I make a gesture.

I really doubted that.
