We walk out to the cold patio and I cross my arms over my chest in order to create some heat. We walk to a group of guys who are in a corner. Jungkook and Jimin greet them and Hyerin and I just limit ourselves to a simple hand movement. They talk about bets and fights, but that doesn't interest me. Hyerin on the other hand, listens attentively.
"The Red Spirits are imbeciles, they're always coming to our parties." One of them says, clearly upset. "A few minutes ago, we kicked one of them out of the house."
Jimin shakes his head. "I can't believe they actually tried to get in here."
"They're brave, I have to admit." The same guy responds. "I wouldn't go into another groups territory."
"You wouldn't do it because you know what would happen. And I think that we might be being too nice to them." Jimin says, looking at the floor.
"Well if I ever bump into them again, I'm going to give them a piece of my mind." Yoongi suddenly says.
Everyone else nods, clearly agreeing. I look at Jungkook, who doesn't say anything. He looks like if he's thinking about something else, and when I look at him, he smiles vaguely.
"A piece of your mind? I would light them on fire." Jimin says.
"Who would you light on fire?"
A voice behind me makes me shiver. We all turn around to a black haired guy. He's tall, well-built, and his black hair is wavy over his forehead. He smiles and I don't need much to know who he is.
"Hoseok." Jimin says with a hard tone.
"Jimin..." He responds and then his gaze falls on me. "Jungkook, I see you have company."
Jungkook puts himself in front of me before Hoseok can come close.
"What are you doing here?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest and covering my vision with his back.
"I was passing by, so I thought I'd say hello." I move a bit and I see Hoseok again. "Didn't you all miss me?"
"We're a lot, even for you, it's best if you leave." Jimin says upset.
"Calm down, I always have people with me... just like you all." Hoseok laughs. "I met that girl a while ago... Hyerin, right?"
Hyerin nods. "You said you knew Jimin."
"And I didn't lie. In fact, your friend, Jungkook... what's her name?"
His stare falls on me, and my blood freezes.
"If you talk to her again, I'll kick your ass." Jungkook says with anger.
"What an attitude, Jeon, I had forgotten your bad humor." Hoseok sighs. "I was just talking to your friend..."
He leaves the sentence floating in the air so that I can complete it and Jungkook gives me a look that tells me not to talk. I don't, because of the fear of what can happen next. I don't know how dangerous this Hoseok guy is, but everyone seems to have certain respect for reasons I don't know.
"Well, I'll tell you something..." He talks to me as he signals towards Jungkook thoughtfully. "The last girl he was with, what was her name?"
"Hoseok." Jimin warns him, trying to keep everything calm.
"That doesn't matter, what matters is that you remind me of her a lot." Hoseok laughs. "You sure know how to pick, Jeon."
"Shut up." Jungkook spits.
"I remember that she was beautiful, sweet, innocent..." Hoseok looks at me firmly, and then takes a step towards us. "Are you like that too? Because if you are, then I recommend that you stay away, you don't want to end up like P-"
He doesn't get to finish the sentence because Jungkook leaps on top of him. The sound of their bodies hitting the ground is disturbing. The people around us come closer to see the fight, and they observe how they hit each other on the floor.
"Stop!" I scream.
Jimin grabs Jungkook and tries to pull him back.
"Stop, you're making a scene!"
But jungkook doesn't even hear him, and he doesn't stop fighting even when his friend is grabbing on to him. Jimin is strong, and he doesn't let him go. This gives Hoseok time to get up and spit out the blood that's in his mouth. He looks at me one last time and then leaves along with some other people that were supposedly with him.
Jungkook calms down and stops fighting. Jimin let's him go, and Jungkook looks at him furiously.
"You just made a scene!" Jimin yells at him.
"What did you expect?! That idiot was talking bad about her!"
"I thought you had it under control." Jimin rubs his hands on his face. "We were supposed to have a peace treaty, while no one hits anyone, our sides would be in peace."
"He provoked me, you saw it." Jungkook answers, cleaning his knuckles on his pants. "He did it on purpose."
"And you reacted, like the beast you are." Jimin says desperately. "When Namjoon finds out, he'll fire us."
Jungkook laughs sourly.
"Fire us? Jimin, seriously?"
"We just created a war that's bigger than us." Yoongi says, crossing his arms over his chest. "Say goodbye to peace."
The group of guys disperse, but I stay still without talking. I don't really know what's happening. I don't understand why they had a stupid agreement to keep peace, or why Jungkook reacted the way he did.
He had another girlfriend? I didn't know that, and I suppose something big happened. I know that Jungkook wouldn't get mad like this over nothing. That girl, who ever she is, must have been important.
"Jungkook..." I say getting closer and grabbing his arm.
He frees himself from me in an abrupt movement and takes a step back. I look at him surprised, shocked by his reaction.
"We'll talk later." He says in a void voice.
I watch him go in the house and disappear in the crowd of people. I just stay mute; I don't know what to think.
"Do you want me to take you to your house?" Hyerin asks in a low voice.
She knows I'm hurt, but I can't be mad, because I have no idea of what just happened. I don't know who they were talking about, or who Hoseok is.
"I'll stay at your house." I say and then I look at her firmly. "You'll have time to explain some things."
