''Stay here and don't do anything stupid'' you whispered whilst getting up from your seat and cautiously heading towards the front door, earning an unamused eye roll from the entity whom grumbled out a low ''Wasn't planning on it, but on second thought maybe I should" before mischievously smirking and getting up from his seat so that he too could get a view of the door.

You flashed him another warning glare whilst quickly hissing out a stern ''Behave.''— only receiving a slight shrug from the other whom still bore that same mischievous grin on his lips; merely uttering out a teasing ''We'll see, no promises though'' while calmly leaning against the wall, and so a soft sigh of defeat escaped past your lips as you shook your head slowly at the male whom quite obviously seemed to be in a mood to cause some playful trouble in one way or another. Though before you had the chance to say anything else to him, the doorbell rang for the third— heck maybe this was the fourth time even, but who's keeping track really?

Nonetheless, you swiftly turned around and focused your attention back onto the unknown guest whom apparently wasn't planning on going anywhere until you opened the door for them, mumbling out a mildly displeased ''Okay okay, calm down I'm coming'' before bewilderedly opening the door in a careful manner— only for it to practically get swung open as what you quickly came to realize were both of your older brothers cheerfully barging into your apartment, instantly making your eyes widen from the pleasant surprise as you swiftly shut the door behind them

Jungkook: Jin Hyung, Yoongi Hyung! What are you guys doing here?

Jin: Visiting our baby brother of course! Oh, and— we come bearing gifts!

The oldest then proudly gestured towards the two big grocery bags he was carrying with a proud grin spreading on his lips, quickly followed by Yoongi whom also showed off the big paper bag he was holding which contained a big order of café takeout they also had bought for the three of you to enjoy; your lips parted as you were just about to protest against how much money they've spent, yet quickly decided against it knowing just how much you actually needed a gesture like this right now— not to mention, not wanting to dismiss their obvious act of brotherly love, and instead allowed your eyes to soften as a gentle smile tugged at your lips

Jungkook: You guys really shouldn't have, thank you both...

The sight of the two of them unapologetically stomping into your kitchen to put down the bags they had brought with them made your eyes glimmer with joy and immense gratitude— heck, even very subtle tears as you trailed behind them; a giddy giggle quickly escaping past your lips as the two of them practically scurried over to hug you as soon as their hands were freed from everything they had been carrying

Jin: Nonsense Gguk, of course we're gonna spoil you on the rare occasions an opportunity arises.

Jin then playfully proceeded to ruffle your hair which caused you to scrunch your nose lightly at the gesture, still unable to wipe the grateful smile off of your face while Yoongi gently reached over to fix a few of the messy hair strands that had occurred as a result of the oldest brothers playful gesture just now

Yoongi: Exactly. Come on now, help us attempt to fit all of these groceries into your cabinets and fridge so they don't go bad— we'll have our coffee and lunch after we're done sorting them out.

Once the three of you finally pulled away from the group hug and got started on sorting through all the groceries they had brought with them, it wasn't long before a sigh of disapproval left Jin's lips upon witnessing the state of your fridge

Jin: Look how empty your fridge is young man! Thank goodness we decided to stop by the grocery store just in case.

Jungkook: Well to be fair I was gonna go grocery shopping... uh later? Anyway, it's not usually this empty!

However, this statement (which also was a partial white lie) didn't seem to reassure either one of them, especially not when Yoongi just so happened to notice the still unfinished microwaveable meal which remained partially untouched on the kitchen table— undoubtedly having gone cold and disgustingly stale at this point, which to be fair you didn't mind, that meal truly did taste quite funky if one must be so honest

Yoongi: Ggukie you seriously need to take better care of yourself, another past expiration date meal for lunch, really?

A sheepish grin spread on your lips as you rubbed the back of your nape lightly, avoiding their scolding gazes while shrugging and mumbling out a quiet response

Jungkook: It's only 2 days past its expiration date though—

Yoongi: Jeon Jungkook.

The oldest sighed softly once more while simultaneously continuing to neatly sort the few remaining grocery items into the fridge

Jin: Well it's a good thing we brought lunch with us from that café, and seriously listen to Yoongi— they're really not good for you alright?

While Yoongi made sure to throw out the unfinished meal, you nodded in acknowledgment yet couldn't bring yourself to verbally promise something you knew you'd most likely end up having to go back on in the future— nevertheless, you turned around and focused on placing some of the room temperature groceries into your cabinets, wincing slightly as the weight of the bag of rice once again caused a sharp pain to shoot throughout your shoulder and back

Despite your attempts of hiding this, your eagle-eared brothers immediately perked up at the sound, eyes widening with worry as they seemed to have spotted the gnarly bruise peeking through your shirt— Yoongi being the first one to rush over to examine you with Jin being a very close second; both gasping softly and growing increasingly more worried after lifting your shirt to reveal the entire set of gruesome contusions spread across the left side of your shoulder and back

Jin: Holy shit— what the hell happened to you Gguk?!

The duo quickly began to babble on about different potential scenarios which could've led up to this outcome, ranging from bullies at work to loan sharks— the assumptions quickly earning an amused snicker out of you which quickly earned you a gentle smack at the back of your head from one of the two who evidently didn't find this situation as amusing

Yoongi: This is no laughing matter Jungkook-ah, thankfully it's not a serious injury but we need to know what happened...

Jin: Listen— if you've got a secret boyfriend we've yet to know about who did this to you, then we need to know so we can go beat that bastard to pulp.

Before their ridiculous assumptions could go even more out of hand, you quickly snapped them out of their protective overthinking as another bubbly giggle escaped past your lips

Jungkook: Calm down you two, I'm fine and I can assure you I have no such secret boyfriend— it's just an injury from a small accident that happened at work, nothing more nothing less.

Upon hearing your reassuring explanation, the two of them audibly sighed in relief while Yoongi continued to examine the area a short while longer, presumably just to make sure any further examinations at the hospital wouldn't be needed

Yoongi: Fortunately it looks more gruesome than it is, just make sure to take it easy, no heavy lifting or other straining exercises— no clue how you applied those pain relief patches back here so well but keep doing that as well to ease the pain.

Immediately upon hearing those last words, a particular entity that curiously had been lingering around a few steps away instantly snickered proudly at the compliment Yoongi unknowingly had given him; a sight which quickly caused you to bite back a smile before mouthing out a ''Shut up'' his way— obviously going undetected by your brothers whom which you still had your back turned towards.

In response however, Taehyung merely uttered out an unbothered ''You're welcome dummy'' whilst flashing you his typical boxy grin, causing you to roll your eyes lightly at the male before turning back around to face your brothers once they pulled your shirt back down

Jin: Alright, well to heal quickly you need to make sure you eat well— we got your favorite order so let's dig in!
