"Aa gaya Bakasur, ab amma ke hisse ka bhi khaana khaa jaavega.. thoda dher se aata toh amma bhi khaa leti", Prerna muttered glaring at Jagdish who walked into the dining area.

Shehnaaz, who was sitting close to Prerna looked up to see who she was referring to. Jagdish looked at Shehnaaz and grinned at her.

"Hello madamji. Kaisi ho?", Jagdish waved at Shehnaaz like a lost puppy. Sidharth gritted his jaws and stared away to control his anger. Shehnaaz noticed the annoyance on Sidharth's face and she found her perfect opportunity to annoy him even more. After all he had been getting on her nerves every time along with his so called -

Honewali lugaayi. My foot.

You hurt me, I hurt you. Tit for tat.

Akhirkar meri acting kab kaam aayegi.

She cursed mentally before smirking.

"Hi Jaggu, Kaisi lag rahi hoon?", Shehnaaz asked ever so sweetly.

Sidharth choked on his food at the pet name Shehnaaz just used for Jagdish. He chugged down some water staring at her but it looked as if it worked like a fuel. It's coolness didn't calm his anger.

Prerna was dumbfounded but soon she noticed a little stare between Shehnaaz and Sidharth. She virtually grabbed the desi popcorn (makhaana) to watch the interesting and most entertaining show that was live on Sidharth's face.

"Aap toh hamesha pataka lago madam.", Jagdish who was taken aback with the sweetness, collected himself, before flirting with a blush. Sidharth tentatively closed his eyes trying to control his raging anger.

"Achcha? Chal jhootey..", Shehnaaz smiled batting her eyelashes.

"Jhoot na madam. Main toh kahu manne thaare jaisi kabsoorat chhorri ib tak iss gaon mein ke, saare desh mein na dekha..", Jagdish praised. Sidharth clenched his fist crushing the roti in his hand so cruelly that Shehnaaz felt like filing a petition to save roti. Nevertheless, less she was enjoying the vengeful drama she was creating.

"Kuch bhi Jaggu..", Shehnaaz faked a blush for Sidharth to notice, who clenched his jaws that were visible on his neck by way of popping nerves. Prerna controlled herself from bursting into laughter.

"Na madam. Thanne toh rab ne bada time leke banaya se.. Thaare baal, thaari ankhein, thaara naak, thaare gaal, thaara hont..", Jagadish was on a flirting spree. Sidharth hissed when he said lips. He couldn't even hide his expressions now as he bore holes at Jagdish, who was lustfully roaming his eyes on Shehnaaz's face. Sidharth was not too far from getting up and punching his face, when he found Jagdish's eyes travelling to her cleavage and his eyes widened.

"Thaara gardan?", Jagdish stopped. Prerna gasped as she felt that was going too far. Sidharth pushed the plate a little far to stand up.

"Yeh thaare gardan pe ke hua, madamji?", Jagdish asked making Sidharth snap immediately and look at her.

"Huh? Kahan? Kya hua?", Shehnaaz asked perplexed while touching her neck.

Prerna leaned closer and took a closer look and gasped to find a big purple mark at the crook of the neck close.

"Sanu? Yeh ke hua?", Prerna touched the place.

"Woh.. achcha woh.. kuch nahi.. woh accident hua tha na hamara toh waha pe thoda sa chott lag gaya shayad.", Shehnaaz replied.

"Kaisa accident madam ji?", Jagdish asked.

"Arey yaar, gir gayi thi.. ab jaane do usse.. mera khaana ho gaya.. chal Prerna tera bhi haat dulaa deti hoon.", Shehnaaz said. Prerna's eyes teared up. Among the present, Sidharth and Prerna knew what accident she was referring to. A pain rushed through his eyes as well realising that how come he never noticed or thought that even Shehnaaz could have been hurt. Prerna's bruises were visible but Shehnaaz hid it so well even when he lashed out at her.

"Sanu.. dard ho raha hai kya?", Prerna asked pressing it slightly and Shehnaaz hissed a little.

"Arey, kuch nahi hua.. tu chal na..", Shehnaaz replied caressing the area but Prerna and Sidharth had long understood that it did pain. Shehnaaz yanked Prerna to wash hands and Sidharth followed the suit.

Jagdish sauntered to the kitchen scratching his head happily for successfully flirting with Shehnaaz. When he went in, he noticed that Iravati and Kalyani were eating their food. He groaned since he missed on accomplishing his routine torture on Iravati today. His flirting session had delayed him.

"Prerna..", Sidharth walked into Prerna's room.

"Huh!! Haye Raam, manne yaad na raha ki manne thaare saath dawakhaane jaana tha.. manne thoda samay de do bhaiyya.. main jaldi se taiyyar ho jaati hoon.", Prerna said.

"Umm.. sunn Prerna. Manne panchayat ke kaam se jaldi jana se.. tu uss chhorri, Shehnaaz ke saath chali jaa.."

"Hmm.. thik se bhaiyya..", Prerna nods.

"Aaa.. ummm.. aur usko bhi.. aaa.. doctor ko dikha dena..", he stuttered a little nervously.

"Ohh!!"Prerna smirked realising Sidharth's intention in sending her with Shehnaaz when he was supposed to take her to the clinic to treat her leg.

"Usko ke hua bhaiyya.. waise bhi thanne toh usko ghar ka kaam karne bola se.. main Kalyani BHABHI ko le jaati hoon..", Prerna stressed on a certain word to annoy and irritate her brother, which she was very successful.

"Jyada dimaag aur zubaan na chala apni chhorri.. manne jitna bola se utna kaam kar.. tu Shehnaaz ke saath hi jaavegi", Sidharth yelled at her.

"Gussa ke ho rahe ho bhaiyya.. Main Kalyani BHABHI ke saath jaaungi toh thaare ko jalan hoga ke?", She nudged her elbow with his in a teasing tone.

"Jalegi maahri jutti.. aur tu maahre saamne usko baar baar bhabhi ke bole?", he uttered in annoyance.

"Thaari hone wali lugaai se na woh? Woh ib mein usse bhabhi na bolu toh ke Shehnaaz ko bolu?", Prerna asked acting all innocent.

"Ummm.. aa.. Tu jise jaise chahe waise bula, par Kalyani ko maahre saamne bhabhi na bolne ki jarurat na se.. samjhi?", his initial fumble made Prerna chuckle.

"Thik se bhaiyya. Amma ke samne usko bhabhi bulaungi par thaare saamne mein Shehnaaz ko hi bhabhi bulaungi..", Prerna whispered near to his ears. Sidhaarth's ears and cheeks went red. He could literally feel his cheeks getting heated.

"Aargghh.. chhorri manne kaam pe jaana se..", Sidharth stride to exit nervously which left Prerna laughing in splits.

"Uska ilaaj karva na bhulna..", he peeped back and ordered before leaving.

The fadded laughter on Prerna's face intensified. She found her brother so cute. She was already shipping her desi brother with the hi-fi chhorri. Well, who wasn't. If Prerna had access to the internet like the viewers of GGSC, she would have realised that there were millions of them shipping them together as #SidNaaz.

"Choddo"

Shehnaaz heard Kalyani's voice as she walked into the dinning area on her way to the kitchen to drink water.

"Huh!!", Shehnaaz gasped as she was stunned to see Jagdish holding Kalyani's wrist whilst Kalyani was wriggling her hands to escape his grip.

"Haramkhor, Batameeez.. Sharam na aave thanne maahre haat pakadte huye?", Kalyani pulled her hand forcefully slapping Jagdish on his face and left while crying.

"JAGDISH.. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING?", Shehnaaz yelled. Even though she wasn't having any harmonious relationship with Kalyani, she couldn't bear men misbehaving with a lady.

"YEH KYA KAR RAHE THE TUM?" She repeated her words in Hindi realising that Jagdish wouldn't understand English.

"Woh.. madam.. woh manne sabji paros rahi thi toh manne usko bas karne ke liye rok raha tha..", Jagdish stuttered.

"Tumhaari zubaan ko kya taala laga tha? Haat pakadne ki kya zarurat thi?", Shehnaaz questioned angrily.

"Woh, g..g..galati ho gayi madam. Maaf kardo..", he apologised.

"Mere se nahi usse maafi maango..", Shehnaaz said.

"J..j..ji madam.", Jagdish stuttered with his head down and Shehnaaz.

Sidharth was busy working in his Sarpanch office when a office boy walked in.

"Thaakursaab, thhare se milane koyi aaye se.", the office boy said.

"Kon se?", Sidharth asked.

"Woh TV wale por..pordoocer, Manik saab se.", The office boy replied.

"Ib isko ke kaam se maahre se?", Sidharth muttered to himself.

"Hmm.. bhejo andar..", Sidharth ordered.

"Ji Thakursaab.", the office boy nodded respectfully before leaving.

"Raam Raam Thakursaab.." Manik greeted in his ever so sweet tone.

"Raam Raam.. Bolo Manik ji.. maahre se ke kaam tha aapko?", Sidharth asked straight to the point.

"Woh aapko nyovta (invitation) dene aaya tha..", Manik said.

"Kis cheej ka? Thaare bete ki shaadi se ke?", Sidharth asked.

"Hehehehe.. aap bade mazakiya ho Thakursaab.. Abhi main khudh kuwaara hoon.. par bhagwaan ne chaaha toh jaldi hi ho jaayegi..", Manik blushed.

"Hmm..", Sidharth hummed and glanced at the man trying to guess how old he was. He looked to be in his late 50s.

"Woh main aapko iss weekend ki shoot par invite karne aayi hoon.. woh peechle weekend ke jaise har contestant ke ghar se koi ek sadasya aane waale hai.", Manik said.

"Maaf karna Manik ji. Manne panchayat ka ghana kaam se..", Sidharth spoke nonchalantly stating the genuine reason while getting engrossed in writing. Moreover, Shehnaaz has been ignoring him like a plague from the day he had lashed out at her for taking Prerna to the Mela without his consent. He had his own reasons as well - the emotional forced reason, Kalyani.

"Ohhh!! Woh aapke ghar ki aurate TV pe nahi aa sakti toh... Khair no problem, main aapke ghar se Jagdish Thakurji se puch lunga.. ", Manik muttered the last line but Sidharth still heard it since they were the only people in the cabin right now. Sidharth's eyes widened, face stiffened and hand stilled at the mention of the particular name.

"Chalta hoon Thaakursaab.. Raam Raam.", Manik folded his hand and got up to leave.

"Kitne baje aana se?", Sidharth asked surprising Manik.

"6 baje Thaakursaab.", Manik replied with a smile. Why wouldn't he? After all, he needed delicious TRP which comes with #SidNaaz being in one frame. People would be ready to watch hours of shitty and torturous episodes just to get a glimpse of them together. Hence, instead of sending any other ordinary employee from the set, Manik himself came to invite him.

"Thik se..", Sidharth said as a cue for Manik to leave before he engrossed himself into the documents.

"Thank you Thakursaab.. aapka intezaar karenge.", Manik said before leaving.
