"The house is so pleasant after she left. It was such a headache with her always talking and she doesn't even have respect for any elder." Mom started the moment we all are having our dinner.

"Didn't we thought that her father will do something while deciding this marriage? Well, now we can see what he planned to do." She added.

"I will talk to Dileep's parents tomorrow." Uncle said, glancing at Lakshmi, who is still sad and just stopped crying.

"Before that we should talk to Ben, so that he will not do anything of he did this." Dad suggested to which Uncle nodded slowly.

"We will do it in the first place and then talk to Dileep's parents." Uncle decided and they all finished dinner before leaving while Revu just sat at her place.

"Are you ok, Revu?" I asked, sitting beside her.

"I shouldn't have slapped her, but what she did was wrong right? It is wrong of her to follow her father's words like that." She replied and started crying.

"How do you know that she did as per her father or she even did that thing?" I asked frowning.

"Lakshmi told us and even you. Why would you lie to us, right? And she didn't reject the words, but started giving explanations." She explained while I looked away.

"Maybe she just wanted to know you as her mother and that's all." I said remembering the hurt in Neville's eyes.

"If she did then she wouldn't have done this." She mumbled and walked away while I just sat on the chair thinking about today's incidents.

"We are going to call her father now and wish for all the family members to stay near to the phone to hear everything." Uncle said and dialed a number before putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" some woman said, lifting the phone.

"Is it Benjamin's number?" Uncle asked.

"Yes! I am his wife. Who is it?" she asked and I glanced at Aunt to see her having the same expression like before.

"I am Revathi's husband and wishing to talk to him about... about his daughter." Uncle replied slowly.

"Are you talking about Neville? Is she there? Oh my god! Wait a minute, please." She said hurriedly making all of us frown.

"Ben! Ben! Your Ex husband called and wishing to talk about Nev." We all heard her screaming.

"What? Are you serious?" we heard some low tone.

"Hello? Is Nev there? Please put her on the phone and if she is not accepting them tell her to forgive me for my mistake." We heard a desperate voice.

"She is not here at present but left just yesterday." Uncle said frowning at us.

"Really? Oh god! How was she? Was she sad or angry? I should have believed her." He suddenly said in a tired voice.

"Ben! What happened there?" Revu asked opening her mouth and rushed towards the phone.

The person on the phone slowly explained how her step sister accused her of stealing her boyfriend, but in reality Neville's boyfriend was cheating on her with her step sister.

"I just slapped her in anger and she left the house the next day doing some things like torturing the guy by changing his job to lower level and then giving to media regarding there are some unethical people in directors before resigning and a few more." Ben explained and we all stared at the phone in shock.

"My wife got to know about the real events two days back somehow and explained to me. Now, we are wishing to talk to her and apologize, but don't know where was she." He added.

"You... you slapped her?" Revu asked in a shaking voice.

"Yes! I shouldn't have done that and she will never forgive me. She is really hard at forgiving someone." He explained.

"We will call if we know anything about her." Uncle said and hung up while Revu slowly knelt on the floor with shock.

"What is happening?" we heard a new voice and turned to see Dileep and his parents standing near the entrance.

"Come inside." Uncle said and Revu tried to compose herself but failed.

I helped her to a chair and made her sit on it before asking Lakshmi to bring water for them along with Revu who is nervous from the middle of the phone call.

"We are just here to talk about the wedding date." Dileep's father started the conversation.

"Yeah! We are thinking it is better to postpone it." His mother said smiling.

"This is because of that Neville right?" Lakshmi asked with hurt but again stepped back seeing Uncle looking at her with warning.

"Where is she? Mom and Dad are dying to meet her." Dileep said not understanding the tension at all.

"These both are so close when they were kids and everyone used to say that these are brother and sister. Such an amazing girl." Aunt said, smiling and looked around.

"Brother and sister?" I asked him frowning.

"Yeah! We are cousins." He replied, smiling and this was another shock of the day for us.

"We just thought you are a distant relative to Ben." Uncle mumbled.

"Yeah, but we really wish you do not cancel the wedding for that reason. Dileep really likes Lakshmi." Dileep's father said pleading Uncle.

"Then why are you wishing to postpone it?" Uncle asked them frowning.

"Because what Nev said is also true. No matter what, this is not the right age for Lakshmi to get married and after a year it would be okay. Otherwise, we both will be the one who will suffer and not even know it until a few years and then let the children suffer. Nev doesn't wish for another kid to suffer. So, we decided for a year postponement if possible." Dileep explained.

"They both will understand each other even more. We all know everyone will forget main details with the excitement and nervousness in the weddings and suffer later. So, what do you all say?" Dileep's mom asked and Uncle frowned.

"Ok! I think it is better." He finally said after glancing at Revu who is even more pale than before.

"We will take our leave then." They said, getting up and left the house with all of us just staring at their backs.

"So, there is no way for Neville to flirt with him, but she was the reason for this postponement." Lakshmi repeated.

"And this seemed to be the reason for which this is a good idea." Revu said staring at her.

"She actually didn't flirt right?" she asked, staring at Lakshmi and me.

"No! She was just smiling with him and that's all." Lakshmi replied looking down.

"You too lied, Yash?" Revu asked and shook her head.

"She must be hating me even more now. I just slapped her like her Dad." She added, leaning back and Uncle stared at her with a blank look.

"She wouldn't return near her Dad then where will she go?" she asked, glancing at me and I felt even more guilty.

"She will be fine, Bhabhi. It's not like you can have normal relation with her." Mom said and we all turned to stare at her.

"I will go and bring her." I said, knowing well I have to do this to ask her forgiveness and for my family to not live in the same guilt for rest.

"You will?" Revu asked with hope.

"Yes! I will return only with her." I replied and walked into my room to pack after Uncle nodded when I glanced at him for permission.

"Where are you right now, Neville?" I asked out loud getting inside the family jeep and started in one direction hoping to find her soon.

*Neville Pov*

"These are so delicious and sweet." I said, grinning at the stall owner and got inside my mouth another small puri with some stuff inside it.

"Try this, Madam! You will like it." He assured me and I tried the other one.

"Yesterday I had dinner near a small canteen from here and it was delicious and today afternoon I had some spicy items near the corner. They are also too good, but this is the best." I said grinning at him.

"There is one spicy one but I don't know whether you could eat it, Madam." He said frowning.

"I will drink water if I can't." I said, assuring him and had one spicy one when he brought it.

"These are so good." I mumbled and felt my stomach full.

"How much?" I asked, opening my wallet.

"No need, Madam! This is a welcoming gift from India." He replied smiling.

"That is really sweet." I said, smiling back and took a photo with him before continuing my shopping.

"How much is this?" I asked a dupatta seller and nodded at the rate.

"Are you trying to cheat madam? Reduce it more." Some woman demanded him and I got it for less cost.

"This will be good for this dress." Another woman advice and I bought the both smiling.

Wow! This is so amazing and I was living such a boring life there until these few days. I will not sit idle until I stay here and go to hotel room only at night to sleep.

This will be my own vacation for myself and who cares for those people! I thought grinning and explored more shops meeting amazing people.
