"My head is aching." I mumbled groaning at the pounding happening in my head and sat up only to fall back feeling tired.

"My head is aching." This time I shouted and immediately held my head, feeling the pounding increasing in another level.

"Then drink this." I heard Nic's voice and slowly opened my eyes to see her walking near my bed.

"Thank you!" I mumbled and drank whatever she gave which turns out to be water making me frown.

"When did water started reducing hangovers?" I asked frowning.

"If you add this to that." She replied, placing a tablet in my arm.

I took it and gulped the water before putting the glass aside. I squinted my eyes with the headache and saw that she is in a very sad mood.

"What happened to you?" I asked her frowning.

"I just got ditched even when I tried to flirt. You know how difficult it is flirt, but he just ditched." She replied in a shocked tone.

I closed my eyes, remembering what happened yesterday night. I groaned and then repeated her words.

"When did you flirt?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"When he was carrying you to this room and when I was running behind him. He was so cute, but seems like he is not for me." She replied frowning.

"Did he say anything or ask anything?" I slowly asked in a casual voice but her eyes narrowed at me.

"So, it is the same from your side too?" she asked raising her eyebrow.

"I didn't flirt with him. You flirted, then how could it be same from my side like yours?" I asked back to which she chuckled.

"I was not talking about that. I was comparing both of you. Even he seems to be more than interested in you. He brushed your hair and pressed a kiss on your forehead." She said getting up while I stilled in my place.

"Your boss called and asked you to come office for some of the company's special client whose work got stopped in the middle I guess. Your boss is so rude. I mean, who goes to office on Sunday's? Anyway, get ready or else leave the job." She said walking away, but it didn't feel like any word entered my head.

He kissed my forehead? How can I hear a whisper of his saying 'I love you too' just when I heard from her what he did? I shook my head before falling back on the bed.

What is he doing here? And how did he know I am staying with Nic? And again, what is he doing here?

Why is it so difficult to forget him, Nev? You did many times, then why not now? I asked myself and felt a tear threatening to come out, but I pushed it back before getting up again.

"Can you repeat what my boss said?" I asked, picking out my dress and heard the message again with her huffing in the middle to repeat everything.

"Thank you, Sir." I said, nodding without any smile before stepping out of the office.

I just want to go home and sleep. I sighed, getting in my car and started driving towards Nic's house hoping she is home.

Or it is better she is not so that I can escape from her admiring views of the supposed guy who ditched her and continuously repeating how interested he is in me like I am in him.

I shook my head and stepped out of the car to see him standing near the door, but that turned into a frown when Nic is standing with him.

"He was waiting for you." Nic said, smiling, making me glare at her.

"I don't want to talk." I simply said, walking towards the door but Nic blocked my way.

"Come on! He is really cute." She said gushing.

"He is Yash!" I said, hoping now she will understand and not force me to meet him.

"I know! I understood yesterday itself." She said making me still in my step which I started to take towards the door.

"You know? Then... then why didn't you say anything and why are you now asking me to go with him?" I asked frowning at her.

"You didn't say anything so I kept quiet. And your happiness is with him at least for now. I will try to do what is best for you, right?" she asked smiling.

"You are wrong." I replied and again moved, but she glared at me folding her arms.

"You are so mean, Nic. I will not leave you alone for this." I said, glaring at her and turned back to see him calmly waiting leaning on the lamp post.

"Shall we?" I said, gesturing the café near to the house.

"What do you want to say?" I asked and ordered a coffee for myself.

"You drink?" that's what the words he uttered, making my mood go into worse.

"Yes!" I replied, glaring at him.

"Like going into unconscious drinking?" he asked making me groan.

"Yes!" I literally shouted.

"You like working?" he asked another question.

"Yes!" I replied, nodding and smiled at the server accepting the cup.

I sighed in relief taking a sip, hoping my mind stops screaming that he really is here sitting before me.

"You wanted to get laid yesterday?" he asked some other question.

"Yes!" I replied and then paused rewinding his question making me cough realizing what he asked and what I answered.

"Why are you asking me all this?" I asked turning the topic.

"It seems like I should always ask as you will not say anything on your own. So, I am asking all this." He replied shrugging.

"What?" I asked him frowning.

"Two people in a relationship must know each detail, right? So, who is this guy?" he asked in a normal tone making my anger raise another pitch.

"He is some amazing guy and we are not in a relationship." I replied in a warning tone.

"Just because you cancelled everything doesn't mean that opposite one will also do that. I never accepted your decision." He said, shaking his head.

"Then chuck it! I am leaving and don't come near my house again." I said, getting up opening my purse to pay but he beat me putting his money.

"I can pay for my own." I said, glaring and moved away his money.

"Boyfriends pay for their girlfriends right?" he asked, smiling, making me wish I can throw the coffee cup or just kiss him.

"Shut!" I whispered realizing what I thought and saw him grinning like he know what I am thinking.

"Get lost!" I said, walking away and started crossing the road but felt my hand being tugged.

"What is it, Yash? Didn't I tell you that we will never work? I don't want you to change your beliefs and I will not change mine at the same time." I said turning around but he just smiled.

"Why are you smiling? I am not joking, Yash. Did I call you or even tried to contact you these past three months? I am moving on." I said with as much force as I can.

"How have you been? I missed you! Did you miss me?" he asked, pulling me to him.

"This will never work. You want your family and they don't want me. And even if they want me, I don't want them." I replied, trying to free my hands from his hold even though I know it is my half effort.

"Why?" he asked, frowning and for the first time I felt his smile slipping which I know I don't want.

"Because... because they are not like any family how it should be. I mean, Nic know how much you hurt me and how angry I am with you, but just because she thinks I still love you, she sent me to you. Otherwise, she would have harmed you some way like she was about to do with John which I stopped." I replied babbling and stilled.

"From when did I got her babbling?" I thought and heard a chuckle from him.

"What I am trying to say is, a family does something like she did and not like your family. How can I even trust them when they don't even accept me? And that is important to you, which makes sure we don't have any future." I said and felt him releasing my hands.

"You are right!" he said, nodding and I held my breath.

No! You can't give up like that. If you really wanted to give up then why did you even come here? I would have been completely fine without reducing a negative point from why I shouldn't be with you of you never stepping out of India right?

"Ok!" I said, nodding and turned to leave only to step back in shock.

"Careful!" he whispered, holding me from behind.

"What the hell!" I whispered, staring at everyone wide eyed.

"Will you not welcome your neighbors?" he whispered and my mouth just dropped.

"But... but..." that's all I could say looking at each one of his family along with my Dad and his family except my grandparents.

"This is not real!" I mumbled, shaking my head.

"Have a nice evening. We will be meeting frequently and I am sure we will settle anything we have to." He whispered turning me around.

"And I love you too." He added pressing a kiss on my forehead like always.

And then he walked away around me crossing the road. I turned to see them all smiling at me and they nodded at Yash before walking inside the house waving at me along with Yash.

"So, how was it?" Nic asked when I walked inside the house robotically.

"It was creepy! Like pure horror movie creepy." I whispered, falling on the couch and just stared at the wall.

*Yash Pov*

"Why was she so shocked?" Rose asked, frowning at us and I rolled my eyes at her question.

"Rose! Help Lakshmi to arrange her clothes." Her Mom said, smiling and she nodded leaving with Lakshmi.

"So, what did she say?" Revu asked, walking near to me.

"She is angry and sad and many things." I replied and heard her sighing.

"Don't worry! We will remove all that." Uncle said, placing his hand on her shoulder assuring her.

"Why else we are here? We will do it." Mom said, smiling at us and I gave her a small smile hoping she is right.

"She must be more shocked looking at us." Ben said laughing.

"But she is working in so small company when she has so much potential." He added in a sad voice.

"By the way I just found out that the Indian clothes are really popular here. You are right to say that we should do something here for sure without getting any loses." Uncle said and I nodded before walking near to my room.

I hope everyone wishes will come true and I hope more than that the affection I saw a little in her eyes is more than that and I didn't miss her completely.

Everything will be fine! I thought, nodding to myself and turned to see my... no! I just saw our family still getting adjusted to each other to everything and I know more than anyone she deserves this.
