*Harsha Pov*

I walked inside the house still in the thoughts which didn't stop from the second Neville gave her own mind.

"Yash!" I heard shouts and looked up to see him rushing down the stairs ignoring the shouts from his Parents.

"Where are you going?" I asked when he reached the main door which I am blocking.

"What is happening?" We heard a new voice and turned to see Revathi's parents standing with a frown.

"Is she with you both? I thought I would talk to her properly when she takes some rest. Please tell me she is with you." Yash pleaded them without giving me any chance to reply to them.

"No!" Uncle said simply and I can see Yash stiffening.

"I will go." He said and again tried to walk out, but I stopped him again.

"She got inside the flight and it took off too." I said to which he glared at me.

"Did you go with her to be sure whether she really left or not?" Yash asked and I smiled at his words which I know are the second time I am hearing within a few hours.

"Did you?" I heard a small voice and looked behind him to see Revathi frowning at me.

"Just go inside." I said and made sure Yash walked back ignoring his irritation.

"I have something to discuss and it is a family matter." I added and he allowed me to push him back, but immediately shook his head moving more forward to push me away.

"She is more important and if I have to leave India and go after her then I will." He said staring at me.

"There is no use of you going now. We will talk about it later, but now we have something else to discuss." I forced him and he stepped back but frowned back at me.

"I don't care, Uncle. Don't you see she left? I need to get her back." He said and I sighed before turning around to see my In-laws standing near the door.

"Come inside, Uncle." I said, nodding at both of them and they nodded back following me.

"Where is Lakshmi?" I asked, sitting on the couch.

"She must be sleeping." Kalyani replied in irritation and I glanced at Revathi to see her just staring at the door with complete shock covering her face.

"Why are you three awake?" I asked, frowning at them.

"I wanted to have a word with her and do anything to change her decision. I thought she would go tomorrow morning and not now." Yash replied and rubbed his forehead.

"I... I just thought she should have some ointment as the burning may be more than I thought." Kalyani replied and I nodded before staring at Revathi and then at the bowl of curd she is holding in her hand.

"Wake up, Lakshmi." I said, looking at Yash who did after shaking his head like I lost my mind.

"What is it, Dad? And why are you all here?" Lakshmi asked yawning.

"Neville left the house." I said and she frowned but nodded understandingly.

"But she didn't tell me that she is leaving." She mumbled still frowning.

"I am thinking to postpone your marriage to another year." I added to which she stared at me with wide eyes.

"What? But why? There is still nearly more than half a month to finish the time you all set and now another year?" she asked moving towards me.

"Because you will need time to learn a few important things." I replied and everyone frowned at me except Revathi.

"What things?" she asked with a confused look.

"We all know that Dileep will take complete care of you, but we don't know about his mother's behvior right. You need to be completely prepared for any type of monstrous treatment from your future mother-in-law." I started explaining.

"And how will I get such experience?" she asked, but her eyes widened in the next second.

"Where else you will get that than from the person who is best at that. Your Aunt will teach you all these things how worse can a mother-in-law behave." I replied and immediately heard a few gasps.

"Bhai! What are you saying?" Kalyani asked, walking near to me.

"The truth! Wasn't that behavior which we all saw you behaving with Neville?" I asked and she stared at me wide eyed.

"Ok, Dad! I will learn from tomorrow. I don't want to be in Neville's position so I wish Dileep's Mom is not like Aunt." Lakshmi said nodding.

"Yeah! She will give better explanation and we all can learn how to raise voice if something wrong is happening even from our family member." Yash added staring at his Mom.

"The fault is with each one of us, Yash. I am sure we saw a few things which you didn't even know and she must have never told you." I said and he frowned nodding.

"She was right about a few things that you all are cowards except Kalyani, but even I was a coward." I said and felt Kalyani fuming.

"Even I was a complete coward." Her husband said.

"Enough! How dare you all to support her? Did you all forget what she did?" she shouted and I frowned at her words.

"What did she do?" I asked, to which she turned to look at Revathi who is staring at me.

"Our Dad died because of this woman and you made her your wife because of which I couldn't say anything to her after marriage. But I will never leave her daughter alone." She shouted and I sighed.

"He died because of illness, Kalyani." I said and stared at Revathi to see her eyes widened in my direction.

Does she think even I think like Kalyani does regarding my Dad? I was angry when he died, but that's all for that moment and I never thought like that again.

"How can you say that, Bhai? He died without his last wish and he died with sadness. Who wishes for such death?" she asked, holding my hand with tears.

"So, you are going to harm the living people for a dead person?" I asked and she stilled in her place.

"Revathi was not the reason for his death and Neville was never. How could she even be when she was not even born at that time? When did you lose your mind? And when have we all become emotion less beings? We needed someone else from outside to come and teach how to live our life?" I asked looking at everyone.

"Why did you never say or even stated that you wish to meet your daughter? We all were angry when I am getting married to you and that condition was put by my mother. Why didn't you oppose it?" I asked, walking near to her and she looked away with tears.

"I know if you haven't accepted that then you would have been homeless without getting married to me because your parents didn't allow you back." I replied fro her and turned to stare at her parents who are looking down.

"But why haven't you never asked me? I thought you didn't love your daughter or it was because of your husband you don't want any contact. How could you even stay away from such amazing daughter?" I asked, holding her shoulders and she burst out crying hiding her face.

"You don't know how I wished to meet her and even keep her beside me. But how could I have done that without any stability from myself. I said the words I had to on the wedding day, but even heard the cries from there but it was late. How could I ask you when you forgot the insult you got publicly with my running away and married me for my sake? After that I couldn't make myself to talk to her knowing well I don't deserve her. And then I didn't want to make any mistake with Lakshmi like I did with Nev." She said still crying and I held her.

"I didn't marry you to save you from anything, Revathi. I married you because I still love you." I said and felt her stilling in my arms.

"We will talk later." I added, brushing her tears away before walking near to Yash.

"Uncle! I need to go now. I hope this discussion is over." Yash said impatiently.

"You are not going anywhere." I ordered and walked away, ignoring Kalyani crying and everyone else towards my room.

*Neville Pov*

"Come on, Nev! When did you become so lazy?" Nic asked pushing me.

"When I got to know that even after working my ass off for three months continuously, I have to work more to even try for a promotion." I said leaning back.

"You know how it is here in California. You have to build up too much to reach top. I am saying literally not in practical. But I guess both in your case." She joked and I chuckled staring at her.

"I just hope my visa will get confirmed." I mumbled frowning.

"Don't worry! I will kill that prince if he will not allow you. I will even ask fot accommodation." She assured me.

"There we will eat desserts in the dessert and will your prince accompany us?" I asked pushing her shoulder.

"Well, we will make sure he serves us those desserts." She replied and I laughed falling back.

"I will be waiting then." I said, winking and she hit me with the pillow.

"Now, get ready and we will go to the club. You definitely need to meet some guy. I will sleep in my room silently if you want." She said dragging me up.

"I am not in the mood." I said frowning.

"That's why music is for." She said glaring.

"No!" I screamed, but she didn't allow me to sit back and pushed me into my room before locking the door.

"Holy shut!" I heard her scream and frowned while changing my dress.

"What is it?" I shouted without opening the door.

"We have new neighbors and the guy is handsome." She replied, making a few sounds making me chuckle.

"Where is he?" I asked, walking near the window.

"They walked inside." She said with dull tone.

"Don't worry! We will check him out tomorrow and will set for you." I said smiling.

"For you?" she asked frowning.

"That's why we are going right?" I asked and she nodded before we rushed out of the house calling a cab.

"He is looking at you only. Go and dance." She said after a few minutes I stood near the bar and pushed me towards the dance floor where some guy is standing.

"Hi!" he said, moving near to me and I nodded before dancing with him.

"What is your name?" he asked, placing his hand on my waist and moved my hand over his shoulder.

I stilled in his arms, remembering and feeling someone else hand other than his in my brain.

"Get lost!" I said, moving my hand away.

"What?" he asked, frowning.

"I said get lost." I said, giving him my best glare and he rushed away.

"Why did he rush?" Nic asked when I joined her.

"I don't know! I thought everything was going well and then he walked away without saying a word." I replied, shrugging and tried my best to forget the vision which seems to stuck in my eyes.

"Don't be sad! Drink for that loser." She said forwading a glass and I gulped it whole before taking another one.

"What is this, Nev? You were supposed to be my designated caretaker but you are making me do that." Nic whined while I chuckled leaning on to her.

"We are near." I screamed and she shushed me with a glare.

"Men are so stupid." I mumbled frowning.

"I know! How could he even leave you there dancing? You were looking amazing like always." Nic said in a confused tone.

"I am, right? I always look amazing, but still Men are so stupid." I said and yawned feeling tired.

"Don't you dare sleep on me. I can't carry you." She said in a warning tone.

"Why do you need to carry me? I can walk on my own." I said moving away from her and took a step before turning around.

"See? I can walk even backwards. I am such a talented person." I said grinning widely to which she chuckled.

"Nev!" she suddenly shouted making me frown and then I felt my foot slipping hitting something.

Before I can scream I felt arms around me and I opened my eyes to see some blurr image. I closed them again and opened them only to wide them completely.

"Thank you so much. Please help her to my house. It would mean a lot." Nic said pleading him and then I felt myself being lifted.

"Nic!" I screamed to which she chuckled awkwardly.

"Don't mind her! She is just disappointed that she couldn't get laid today as she wished." Nic said and then I heard her gasp.

"Forget I said that. I just babble when I am nervous." She said and I can feel her grinning.

"Flirting? Really?" I asked with as much energy as I can and then felt dark spots entering my eyes making me fall into deep hole.
