"How much time do you need to freshen up?" she literally barked, making me wish I can laugh in her face right now.

But I know it won't be good if I do that. Then I paused in my thoughts, remembering those things never stopped me before then why now.

So, I laughed, making her anger face show more than possible until I stopped my laughs. I cleared my throat and waited for her words or something which she says whenever I do these things.

"It is because I always wish to have a proper bath as it is good to be hygene." I said when she just stood there and now she took a deep breath like she is controlling her anger which everyone knows is not possible.

"Do you know any work in the kitchen?" she suddenly asked and I gave her an amused look.

"Of course! How old do you think I am?" I asked and I glanced to the other side to see Mom standing near the kitchen platform tugging her hands.

"Ok! You will do the breakfast for everyone." Aunt suddenly said making me frown.

"What? But..." I started saying which she stopped showing her hand.

"You said you know how to cook and you will do it now. What did you thought? That I will let go your lie? Let everyone know how on the first day itself, you are lying." She said, shaking her head and left the room.

I sighed and started taking out the items from the fridge and felt an arm on my shoulder. I frowned and turned to see Mom standing behind me.

"Shall I help?" she asked and I shook my head still frowning.

"I will not do everything but will just give you some instructions." She added and I sighed placing the items on the counter.

"And why would you do that? You wish for me to fail so that I will not marry Yash right?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"That's not what I want or not what I wish for. But you don't understand many things here." She said and rubbed her forehead.

"I know two things. I love him and he loves me." I said, shrugging and started cooking after she left me alone in silence.

"Who cooks breakfast this early?" I mumbled, shaking my head.

"Oh! I forgot one thing. When the matter is with this amazing family, then anything impossible can be normal here." I mumbled and chuckled.

"You can share the joke with me." I heard a whisper in my ear, making me lean back into his body.

"This is not your category joke." I mumbled grinning to myself.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked hugging me tightly.

"It is a joke on your family." I replied, shrugging and he sighed hearing that.

"I just hope you too start liking this family, Nev. They are really great." He said, turning me around.

"Are you sure?" I asked, smiling to which he glared.

"Fine! If they like me then I will like them or if they give me reasons to like them." I said to which he frowned.

"That's all I can do. I was always like that." I added and he slowly nodded.

"Then how did you like me without my thought process towards that?" he asked and I chuckled.

"I was confident on myself that you will definitely like me." I replied and he laughed shaking his head.

"So, what is with these new things?" I asked, gesturing his hands around me.

"Everyone knows about us right." He replied shrugging.

"Right! You are not my dirty secret anymore." I said in a serious tone making him stare at me with shock.

"Finish that fast, Nev! We need to go and meet Kiran." He said after a few minutes.

"Why don't you do all this then?" I asked shaking my head.

"I am not going to do those when you are there right." He replied placing his lips on my cheek.

"Then be prepared for heating up the frozen food because even I am not going to do that. Or why don't we stay in this house and your Mom can cook everyday." I said smiling.

"We will stay here after marriage, right." He said shrugging.

"I am talking about before marriage. It's not like we will marry any time soon." I said and glanced at the clock ignoring his shocked look.

"You need to leave before I will do something stupid like giving right back the words your mom would hurl at me." I added and pushed him away and he walked lost in his thoughts.

"Finally! By this time we would have started making lunch." Aunt said the moment I started walking near to the table.

"Well, I didn't know that you don't like eating breakfast and will always look forward for Lunch Aunt." I said, smiling and placed the tray on the table looking at which she stopped her words along with everyone.

"What is this?" She asked with open mouth.

"Healthy salad and some good toasts along with omlets. What else can you see there?" I asked back and she stared at me.

"You said you know how to cook." She said in an accused tone.

"Yes! And I cooked them because they don't appear on their own." I said frowning.

"See? That is why I don't want her to be a daughter-in-law in this house." She threw a tantrum.

"That's why you have to listen to other people words without having your own thoughts." I said and Yash shook his head at me.

"Mom! This looks delicious." Yash said turning towards her and everyone calmly served themselves and had it without any complaint except his Mom.

"I will go and freshen up and then we can leave." I said standing up.

"Where?" Uncle asked and Yash explained what happened near Kiran.

"So, you both have to meet each other for one month?" Aunt asked and he nodded glancing at me.

"Nev will accompany me." He said to which she shook her head.

"Not possible! She has a lot of work to do. You have to go alone." She suddenly said, making me turn towards her.

"It's not like something bad will happen in one hour. I will go with him." I said to which she shook her head again.

"No! Don't you want all this to finish soon? And there are lots of things to do." She said stubbornly and the tug of war started.

"Stop! Just remember all these tests will not be placed for more time, but just a little." Step Dad said, standing up and walked away along with everyone except Yash and his Mom along with mine.

"We will start the lunch preparation and I will show you." Saying that Aunt walked away, which Mom just frowned at both of us.

"Do you have to go, Yash?" she asked turning towards him.

"I promised her, Revu. You taught me never to break the promise as it will leave too much guilt to bear right then how can I break one right now and it will be for one month only." He replied smiling and she slowly nodded before walking away.

"You understand that I have to go even though you can't come, right?" he slowly asked walking near to me.

"No! I don't understand any of the reasons." I replied shrugging.

"I love you too." He said, kissing my forehead and walked away while I just frowned at his back.

"Not like that! Do it like this." She shouted for the hundredth time and I threw the knife away making her jump.

"No one eats with the right hand itself and no one dresses the same way. And no one cuts the vegetables just like you. Let me do my work or else either I will get hurt or I would have to show my frustration like this." I calmly said and lifted the knife to clean it up before using again.

"Do you really think I will accept you with this behavior of yours?" she asked, smirking to which I smirked back making her look turn into confusion.

"And do you really think I am dying to have your acceptance? Or do you think that I will panic if I do any mistake? Because trust me I don't give a care for it. I am doing this for him and even if you don't accept then it will be not my mistake because there is nothing wrong within me and I know he will accept all this failure before we even get married." I replied standing up with the cut vegetables after which she walked away fuming and I heard a chuckle.

"I thought you would not be able to handle her, but I can see you can." I heard Mom's voice which I ignored lighting up the stove.

"Neville!" she whispered, but I didn't turn around before doing as the Aunt explained completely rushing and finished it as much as I can like she explained.

"It is ok!" Aunt commented, but kept her face like it is poison making me roll my eyes and glanced at the clock.

"I need some air." I said, stepping out of the house and at the same time saw Yash parking his bike.

"What are you doing here and how was the meet with Kiran?" I asked and felt the distaste in my tone myself along with him.

"We just talked for some time." He replied making me frown.

"Five minutes will not be enough for her to not have a need to lie?" I asked, to which he smiled walking near to me.

"She liked you." He mumbled and hugged me which I returned feeling every doubt leave along with tiredness.

"Now, I need to eat that food you made." He said releasing me and I stared at him in surprise.

"Why do you think I am here from office? I want to have that food no matter what." He added, making me chuckle and we both walked inside.

I waited for him to taste and he just gave a blank look having another piece and then again after which I got irritated and pinched his hand.

"Maybe there is no need for frozen food after all." He said, rubbing his hand and I laughed shaking my head at his words.

hey guys... finally did an update and i know very slow updates... kya kare time hi nahi mil raha hain or brain mein kya likna hain aa hi nahi raha hain...

anyway will try to update soon and just want to hint that the tests happening will not be typical...
