Lonely Night

Scenario 1: You and [Crush 1] had a pretty solid relationship. You had been dating and living together for about three years now. You both had stable jobs, but [Crush 1] came home some day with some good news. They were offered a promotion, but they wanted the talk to you about it before they took the opportunity or not. They told you that they'd be doing the same thing they did now, but the only change was that there was traveling involved now. You talked about it for a while [Crush 1] would have to be gone for weeks at a time, depending on what was going on with his job. You thought about it, and in the end told [Crush 1] it was fine if they accepted the promotion. [Crush 1] would make more money than he did now, and even if they were gone for a while, they could still talk over the phone and FaceTime. Plus, even if you weren't all that excited about it, you wouldn't tell them no. It was their choice overall.

[Crush 1] went ahead and accepted the promotion. A week later, they went away for a week. You missed having them here with you, but you figured you'd get used to the house being empty. You can were wrong, you didn't get used to it. It had been three months now. Three months fo [Crush 1] being away for work. It's not like [Crush 1] left a few days after being back. They stayed home for a couple of weeks between trips, but that didn't it any better. You were fine for the first few days, but then you would get lonely and started to miss [Crush 1]. You coped with it pretty well until [Crush 1] had to go away for three weeks. Three weeks was the longest [Crush 1] would be gone. You let them go, not going to tell them that they couldn't leave.

Everything was okay until the third and final week rolled around. You hadn't talked to [Crush 1] much. They had always been busy and they barely had time to call you. You mostly texted, but you missed hearing their voice and seeing their face. [Crush 1] promised they would make it up to you and you would hold them to that promise. You friends were worried about you. You always seemed so down when you talked to them, so they thought they'd cheer you up. They asked you to go to this new bar that just opened up with them and you agreed to go. You saw no problem with it. You'd drink a little and talk to a few people, maybe forget about how much you missed [Crush 1] for a little while.

The experience wasn't bad. You drank and talked to a few people before going home. That was about it. You and your friends decided to go back to that bar the next day and then the day after that. You went on Friday as well, this time by yourself. You're friends were busy and would go with you the next time you went. You sat by yourself for a while, drinking and looking through social media until [Crush 2] approached you. You talked with them for a while, shared a few laughs, had a few more drinks... you didn't really know what happened next.

The next day, you woke up because of an alarm you had set. You were hungover so the sound was annoying you. You groaned and grabbed your phone, glancing at the alarm before turning it off. The alarm was named '[Crush 1] will be home in an hour'. You got excited when you read it. You were about to get out of bed, but froze when you heard someone yawn and then say, "Oh, you're awake. How'd you sleep?" You tuned around quickly to face [Crush 2]. They were naked, you were naked, now that you looked around this wasn't even yours and [Crush 1]'s room. This wasn't even your house. Your eyes went wide as event from last night came back to you. [Crush 2] raised a brow. "Are you feeling okay?" They asked. You....
