Leon used to be very sweet and happy but became nervous, skittish, and scared after being abused and locked down in a basement for many years not knowing when he will be let out of the basement. He also has gained trust issues because everyone he thought he could trust just left him down in the basement like he was a worthless object that can just be forgotten about. However if you do gain his trust he will be quite clingy towards you and will be anxious if you leave him alone.

Leon was born with albinism and his father, who was extremely superstitious, believed that having albinism was considered to be a bad omen that should be hidden away and not be mentioned. His father wanted to lock him away as soon as they got home from the hospital but his mom had a sweet spot for him since he was a newborn baby that needed to be taken care of. Leon's father still hated him though and that's why he was abused and locked away in the basement as soon as he turned two years old with nothing but a pile of blankets and old cans of food from the First World War. However the abuse didn't stop because the two year old would always go up to the locked basement door begging to be let out whilst promising that he'd be good which in turn caused him to be abused. This happened for many years until his parents sold the house, with him still in the basement.

°1° (Your oc's name) has just bought a new house extremely cheep from a couple that seemed like they wanted to get rid of the house as soon as possible. It was a decent enough house, two stories with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an attic, and a basement but for some reason the basement was locked. This confused him/her as he/she called a locksmith whom got the door open fairly quickly and then asked to be paid, leaving once he got his payment. (Your oc's name) walked down into the basement with a flashlight and looked around, seeing empty cans of food strewn across the floor of the decently sized bathroom. As he/she approaches a pile of blankets he/she found Leon who huddled up on those blankets in the fetal position and he kept muttering "I'll be good if you let me out, I promise" as he looks at him/her in fear and confusion.
