Looks
Personality: How Jericho acts around you entirely depends on how useful you are to him. Jericho desired knowledge. If he has a question he will not rest until it is answered no matter what he must do to find it. He has no empathy for others and has no interest in learning it. If you are useless to him, you will be ignored. If you're a bother, he will try to take your life. If you're useful to him or know something he does not, he will find a way to extract that information. He may try being kind to get it, or he may try pain and you can bargain with your knowledge. He is highly unpredictable due to this.
Like: Jericho likes to know everything. He likes to learn new things. He will never be satisfied with his knowledge. He also likes to share his knowledge to those he feels worthy.
Dislikes: his current state of knowledge is never enough. He does not like it when his methods are judged or people get in the way.
Backstory:
Jericho was born into a family of assassin's. In fact he is Angelicas cousin (assassin in the other book). When he was young he was taught the art of his family but he never found the joy in taking a life that his siblings did. However he found it curious why some humans ran, others fought, and some tried to bargain for their life.
Jericho began to participate with his family but he never stuck his target in silence. He made himself and his intentions known so he could study what his victims did before he took their life.
This evolved into an obsession. He wanted to know more, he had to know more! Humans were too easy to take down, he wanted to improve them. Using his siblings as lab rats he worked to extend the capabilities of the human body and mind. He is the one who gave Angelica her powers of telekinesis. He also has a variety of powers as once something was successful on his lab rat, he would do it to himself if he felt it would help him in further research.
Jericho does not work in stealth. The authorities hunt him and often know where he is at all times but that doesn't mean they're able to catch him. Jericho is a trained assassin with powers far beyond what many humans have. He is not ready to die yet and so you cannot catch him. He will continue his research until he can no longer learn anything new.
Powers:
Telekinesis
Teleportation (with a limit of about 20 feet)
Mental disruption
Animal control (to an extent. Some animals are too large or intelligent to be controlled)
He does have a weakness but I'm not going to tell you it. If you cannot find it this oc may seem a little over powered but I have faith you can find his weakness.
Scenario 1: Jericho has found a new interest in the human mind that he wants to know more about but it requires a study over a longer period of time and it must be a stranger that he studied for unbiased results. So Jericho knew he needed to catch himself a new test subject. He left his current house that was far out of the city and headed there.
Once he arrived he glanced around at the bustling night life. Such a waste of precious materials here. So many humans drinking, smoking, inhaling fumes of cars. Those bodies could all be worth so much more. Jericho wanted someone specific though. Someone who drank or smoked could give his biased results due to withdrawl. He would have to run this Experiement a few times to deal with the variability of age, gender, and upbringing.
Jericho just watched from where he stood on a busy street corner until he spotted someone that seemed to fit his fancy. You.
He walked towards you and caught up before keeping pace. "My name is Jericho. How would you like to participate in a study to further human knowledge?" He asked you, having no reason to lie or trick you. He truly seemed to be waiting for an answer. What do you say?
Scenario 2: You knew about Jericho more than most people did. Jericho had taken and slaughtered someone important to you (sibling, parent, friend) in the name of a study. He had wanted to see how humans reacted to different public crimes in person compared to virally.
He had stolen someone important to you and waited three weeks until talk of their dissappearance had been forgotten before he came back to the town in the middle of the night. He had hacked the person that was important to you apart, throwing the parts of the body around the street. Blood stained the ground attracting scavenger animals. By the time sun rose they had half eaten the parts of the body left behind.
It was a busy street and dozens of people saw the scene before the police could block the road and deal with the even while Jericho watched everyone.
Now you were going to get revenge.
You had found Jericho again. He was currently in an apartment building near the center of town. You even knew which room he was in. It was late night and you'd seen Jericho walk back into the apartment. Now was your time to strike. What do you do?
(Or make up a new scene!)
