I'm with you again.(Sad)

This story is through Ben's point of view.
We were all sitting in the auditorium of Auradon Prep, holding another family day. It had been 10 years since the barrier is down, and we, are living our happily ever after until now. All the Vks have kids of their own. I'm not gonna go in details. But mal and me have our own twins, both of age 9.
So let's go with the flow.
We were really enjoying the day. Mal was speaking with me and all our friends, while the kids were enjoying time with their grandparents.
Suddenly the atmosphere started changing. In the middle of the yard, a small windy cyclone type storm, appeared out of nowhere. Mal held out her arms ready to use magic, but finally relaxed upon seeing who it was. It was one othe moorish nature spirits, who was one of Mal's best friend in moorlands. But her faced frowned when she noticed the panic in her friends eyes.

"What happened?" Mal asked while i rested my hands on her waist.
"My queen, Moors is under attack, you have to save us, the dark fey's of moors have announced attack" she explained in feyish language.
"Say what? And why wasn't I informed about it earlier?" She asked but the moor spirit kept quiet.

"I have to go and fight this war" mal declared and started marching towards the castle.
"Wait wait wait...you are going alone, you mean? I'm coming with you?" I said.
"No Ben, you're not. Because moors is my country. You are only the kingof Auradon and isle, but I'm the queen of moors and this is my duty" she said.
"No mal, you are not attacking alone. Please you could die and I can't lose you" i pleaded to her.
"No, Benjamin, I'll do this alone and this is final" she said and marched towards the castle with me following her.

"Baby, please, if something happens what will happen to me and the kids. I can't lose you. Take me with you" I pleaded while the other courfour and the sea three agreed with me.
"Sorry but this is final" she said and then crouched down to her children.
"Be safe, okay. Take care of daddy for me. And take care of eachother." She said perhaps for the last time.
"Baby , why are you saying like this?'" i asked but she didn't replied to me.

She moved on to her siblings and told them to look after themselves and me for her.

She told her in laws and parents and brother to stay safe and that she will miss them.
Lastly she moved on to me, to say goodbye.
"I hope I'll see you. As you know communications in moors are bad, so everyday I'll teleport something by magic in your hands, so that you can know that I'm alive or..." She started but I clasped my hand over her mouth.
"Baby, don't say like this please. I can't live without you. I love you" i told her and mal kissed me hard.
She then slowly moved backwards, and then teleported herself to moors.

The war went for two months, and each day I received something from mal, so I knew she was safe.

The war has ended, mal had wrote to me that she will be arriving home today. The letter was dated back two days ago.

I was very much eager to spend time with my wife, but the sight that i was met with shattered my heart.
I saw my beloved wife in a dark purple casket. I ran towards it.
I screamed and cried for her to wake up but she didn't. No she didn't responded to me. She laid still.
"MAL" I screamed and screamed.

That was the day I lost my soulmate, my true love, my dragon. I cried every night for her. Her funeral was the saddest day of my life. I cried, screamed but she never came back to me. She never kissed me again.

I'm living without my love, and looking after our children. I miss her every day, every minute, every second. A part of me died with her.

It has been 40 years, since she died, and today I'm gonna meet her again.
Today, I, the lonely king of Auradon, am gonna meet with my soulmate again.

I opened my eyes, and took forward three steps.
There she was standing infront me. Calling me.

"Ben"
I ran towards her and kissed her.

"Mal"

I'm now truly in heaven with my love, my purple haired princess.
"I'm with you again, Mal" I said and we kissed again, and we were surrounded by all our friends and relatives cheering for us.
