Nurse's Office - Melanie Martinez

"Perfect. Pas de deux - gentle, not too anticipated - land and pirouette - JOHNNY!"

Jimin's hands is suddenly on his knees, eyes closed with the sweat dripping down to the side of his face while he faintly hears Taemin scolding Johnny in the far reach in the back ground but he lost too much care to even pay attention to that. They've been going to this for the past five hours - five. A few breaks have came up here and there, but nothing that lasts more than five minutes.

It's intense. Everyone is tense.

In just three days it's the first show, a simple one before the big show in the upcoming next month.

Yet everyone, including Taemin, is pressing onto the dancers on perfecting their moves as they rehearse for it. No matter how close Jimin and Taemin are, doesn't mean he will cut him some slack.

If anything, he pushes Jimin harder.

If they can do this opening show perfect, then the big show will be even better.

They just have to keep practicing to get to perfection.

Yet the constant rhythm shifted after Johnny put Jimin down after the pas de deux, and he was spinning Jimin a bit too roughly. It's clear that he's stressed and frustrated with the practice, but that didn't stop Taemin from telling him off for that mistake of breaking character.

If anything, the instructor just got more pissed.

"We're done for today - Fuck, just go home and we'll pick up the rest tomorrow!"

Jimin still stayed with his hands on his knees, panting heavily. Since he's been eating and taking more care of himself, he does find himself to have more energy during practices than before. Even his temper had mellowed down and the stress doesn't weigh as hard as it did once upon a time.

That's why right now he isn't fighting back with Johnny or telling Taemin off for cutting practice for the day. Instead he just goes and lays on the floor, catching his breath.

No one paid any mind to him, and it's probably because they're afraid he might explode out on them. He's glad for it though, the last thing he needs is people fanning all up on his face in worry.

But someone did pay mind to him though, and he felt that presence squatting down beside him.

"How you holding up?"

Jimin opens his eyes, vision blurred for a moment but it goes away after a few more blinks and then focusing his eyes to Taemin.

Looking at him in slight concern.

"Just enough," He mutters, pushing the strands of hair away from his face, "Just give me a minute."

Taemin twitches a small smile but nods, getting upright and goes off to probably speak with the other instructor on tomorrow's practice. Jimin was left just thinking and recovering all on his own, letting his mind just wander over the steps in his head and think that perhaps the day before the performance he may have to break his little eating record.

He has to be light, effortless, in perfect shape.

No matter how well he's been feeling lately, it has to come to a stop for a day.

Just for a day, and that's it.

Being in the perfect shape is more important.

After gathering his breath, feeling himself stable enough to stand up, Jimin slowly rolls over and gets to his feet. He's not as dizzy as he use to be, but his vision is a little blurred again. Instead of freaking out as he once would, Jimin only goes to where he thought he put his stuff, which he could somewhat make out despite seeing a faint fuzziness in his vision, but as he got closer he could make out it better.

Yup his stuff.

Sitting down he removes his ballet slippers, wincing to the pain on his toes and goes to remove the band aids. Ignoring the ache and while not able to see clearly the harsh bruises, Jimin just puts on socks and sweat pants over his spandex. Then he fishes out - base on his touch - his medication in a box, taking it out and unscrews the lid before putting two eye drops to each eye.

Blinking and fighting the odd burn for a second, Jimin puts the small container back in its box and shoves it in his bag.

"Jimin."

He perks his head up, seeing a silhouette bending down to him. With every blink and stare, more clear the person grew before revealing Jihyo's exhausted face leaning down to him.

Who wears a twinkling smile on her face.

And he slowly smiles, "What's up?"

"So I was actually thinking, since the show is in three days and we have been busting our back to carry this performance. Let's go on a date!"

The little enthusiasm in Jihyo's voice despite being tired and stressed is something Jimin admires really. No matter how bad a situation may be, Jihyo tries to find some solace within it. And that being by distracting her mind.

And who else would she rather do it with if not with her best friend?

Truth is, Jimin doesn't want to get distracted even if its for just a small time of a break. It'll break his concentration for the big event. More so his routine.

So he hesitates as he gets to his feet, "I don't know. I'm trying to keep a routine for myself so I won't.... You know."

Jihyo pouts, nudging his shoulder, "You've been over working yourself a lot. You deserve to have a time for yourself to just relax. We can go for dinner, maybe watch a performance-"

"So you guys are planning on a date without me?"

Jimin immediately twitches a smile, just as Jihyo turns his head back to a fully dressed Taemin - ready for the whether outside - approaching them with a teasing smile.

"Well we didn't know if your professionalism is allowed for a date-"

"It's not a date," Jimin corrects, making Jihyo scowl playfully, "She wants to hang out but I feel like I can't lose my routine and with the show around the corner."

"I don't know, could be good for you," Taemin simply says back, adjusting the lace of his backpack on his shoulders, "For a good performance, you need a good fresh aura. Not looking as though you just tortured yourself the previous days."

"Exactly!" Jihyo exclaims, squealing and wrapping both arms around Jimin and Taemin's necks, squeezing them to her, "Nothing more to say! Let's go!"

As much as Jimin wanted to fight back, he couldn't help being swayed by the gesture and smile softly to his friends as the childishly twirl each other to the exit with squeals and filled with excitement.

His best friends.

His pillars.

So letting the temptation take him, Jimin takes a step forward but suddenly halts.

And a weak breath escapes his lips.

Oh no.

Black spots began to crawl to his once again blurred vision. Legs weakening. Chest growing heavier. Dizziness coating over over sense; Jimin lost his touch with his reality almost instantly.

And before he knew it, everything coated in darkness, his vision shutting, just like when his legs gave out.

"JIMIN!"

All I Want - Kodaline

"No way dude, really?"

Jeongguk giggles, laying on Lalisa's bed while the owner of it curls her hair while looking at the small mirror that Jeoongguk is holding up for her.

He only nods back, making Lalisa burst a not so 'lady like' laugh, "That's crazy. I remember the last time someone from my team saw me naked they literally stayed there staring at me for a good second before walking away."

Now Jeongguk's eyes glittered with his smile, only staring at the girl before his eyes. Now that the competition era is over and they're now in their little three day break, they had planned on going out to a nightclub and have a little fun as a celebration. A few members from either team are planning on joining in as well, so it's definitely something to look forward too.

Jeongguk is already dressed, just in black jeans and a button up rolled by the sleeves to match with it. Lalisa told him it was okay to wait here while she got ready, and thankfully she was already dressed by the time he got here.

And let's just say.... She looks stunning.

A little warm crept Jeongguk's chest while he watches her adjust the red lipstick on her lips, unable to look away. Okay, maybe throughout the time being, his little admiration for her has shifted a little to a small confusion to how he really felt about her - as in feelings wise - but can you honestly blame him?

She's just hard not to like as a person; Laid back, athletic, puts her passion above all else, and is just so easy to get along with. You can literally tell her you just took a shit and she would just start laughing. Someone that just connects easy with everyone, somehow.

The other day Seokjin started teasing Jeongguk saying that he sees that Lalisa might be feeling something for him, and maybe that got him thinking a little that he may have feelings too but wasn't really sure-

"Bro, is it kinda bad that I sent Jihyo a text today?"

Jihyo...

Jihyo?

The familiar girl that Jeongguk has seen with Jimin in the past storms his mind, making him a little unease now; especially now that it got him thinking about Jimin. Jeongguk hasn't spoken to Jimin, at all. Maybe in the beginning he was thinking about him, a lot. Debating multiple times whether to text him or not or just call him to see if he's okay. However with the help of his team, he slowly started to let go of worrying about Jimin, not thinking about him for days and it slowly has started to be more consistent to not think of him at all.

No one mentions him, and with Jeongguk being distracted these days, he hasn't either.

Jeongguk slowly rests the mirror so it can lean up against the side of his torso, signing, "What did you say to her?"

Lalisa puts the lipstick aside, frowning a little, "I don't know - some stupid shit. I know we didn't get enough time together as roomies, but she was cool to have around at first - or whatever," She mumbles between her words, "She was so determined to get to me and shit. She probably sniffed the lesbian out of me and all - Damn gave up mad easy for her friend."

That's how Jeongguk's heart did a thing in his chest, his head mildly exploding to the new information.

Lalisa's a lesbian?

How did he never know about this?

So she.... Of course, Jeongguk was just making shit up in his head.

If she's lesbian, she wouldn't like him like that.

That's actually kinda.... Relieving.

Cross out confusing his feelings then.

"I just don't get it," Jeongguk snaps his eyes back to her when she spoke again, seeing her frowning a little more to her phone, "She didn't even leave me on seen, only on fucking delivered. Do feelings just go away that quick or something? I know we said some pretty fucked up shit while she was packing and leaving but.... I miss her, damn. I don't fucking know anymore!"

As much as Jeongguk didn't want to relate to what Lalisa is saying, he did in someway. It almost felt as though she was attacking him. Before Jimin left, he was sure about how he felt about him. He fucking begged him to stay, and got drunk just so he could talk to him. He put the pieces together that Jimin was not properly well when he left that night in Taemin's arms, should've texted him to see if he was okay.

But as Lalisa said, he doesn't fucking know anymore.

Now he's even doubting about what he felt as a confusing mixed feelings for Lalisa was actually just an attachment to their friendship or something. Thinking about Jimin now for the first time in a while was like burning every wall and thought he previously had before about possibly feeling what he felt with him for someone else. It opened the scars, reminding Jeongguk of their soft moments of being in each other's embrace or focus while practicing for their events.

He didn't realize how much he missed Jimin.... Since he's been using things around him to distract him most of the time. Now that he is, openly, knowing it's okay to do so, it began to hurt again.

Jeongguk cried for days in his hotel room, alone, begging some God out there to make things work with Jimin somehow. This is the first time he's ever felt some type of connection with someone before, and not just the out there on the ice. He wanted to make things work somehow, even if nothing was official or said out loud about their true feelings.

Jimin.... Someone broken and lost, leaving to find his way to a better mental place.

For himself, and for Jeongguk.

Is he okay now?

Is he better?

Is he at that mental place he wanted to be?

Suddenly it came to Jeongguk's mind that Jimin has been working for a show coming up soon - wait what's today?

"I heard from Jackson that apparently Taemin is instructing this show with Jihyo and Jimin coming up, so maybe that's why she hasn't been responding to me," Lalisa suddenly mutters, checking the same message she sent before, "Or maybe she really doesn't want anything to do with me - Hey, where are you going?"

Jeongguk was off the bed and was just about to leave the room, but suddenly Lalisa turns him around and slams her hand against the door; trapping him.

His eyes widen.

Damn okay.

Lalisa studies his eyes with her own gaze narrowed, lips pursed, "You're planning on booking a ticket to go back, aren't you?"

Jeongguk didn't respond back, his eyes said it all.

He's been holding back for too long.

This is Jimin's show, something he's spoken about a few times but never stressed to express how important it would be for him.

Even if they aren't in a good spot, he wants to show his support, somehow.

That they're still a team, even from a distance.

There's a long moment Lalisa didn't say anything but then sighs, stepping back, "Alright let's go."

Jeongguk's eyes furrows, "What?"

"Hm? You think I'll let you go alone? Um, no. I'm going to go back and grab this bitch Jihyo by the hair like how she did to me and demand an explanation for leaving me on delivered! Myabe that's my excuse to go with you - Anyways! Let's go book a ticket!"

For a good moment Jeongguk just stares at her, suddenly letting this appreciating gleam flicker his eyes to the woman standing in front of him. Lalisa has always been supportive over any decision Jeongguk has ever made. Never letting him do it on his own. If she has to go through hell fire too, she will, just so he won't go through it alone.

That's just how their friendship has gotten to.

Their friendship.

Something he will never confuse again, and going after who his heart really beats to.

Jimin.

His Jimin.
