"I'm sorry, what?"

Jimin and Jeongguk blinks, standing and staring at a very stressed Jackson with an equally unamused Hoseok and Taemin standing behind him in his own office.

The air is thick, so thick that it felt like not even a sturdy knife can slice it through evenly without it snapping in half.

Well, obviously by the sudden statement that was just stated out of no where.

This felt like a bomb was suddenly dropped to their faces, catching the two skaters so off guard that they didn't even get what was going on, or processed it.

Shit, looks like the three coaches didn't even process it well either.

It's not everyday that precisely on their day off from practice, they get a call from Jackson for an urgent meeting with them together. It's been a few days since the performance and they've been on a break since the next event is in a month and a half later. To this day Jimin and Jeongguk still haven't talked.

At all.

Minho and Taehyung have been the bridge between them, trying to understand what was going on but clearly neither of them wanted to say anything about it or even mention each other.

So this is the first time they're standing here, together, after a while.

But they weren't clearly focused on that.

Hoseok reacted first to Jimin's sudden remark, shifting between his feet uncomfortably with a strain grimace, "The chairman of the skating programs reached out, to the three of us specifically. The controversy of the situation with you two skating is getting a large negative view from the public, despite it only being a two performances you both have done. It's gaining a lot of attention and he threatened to cancel Jackson's skating program and preventing the both of you from joining any skating program again in the future, and for Jeongguk that means being kicked out of the speed skating program."

Wait what?!

Jimin's lips part in shock, while Jeongguk stands there as though he's been brutally punched across the face by the news. This is all he knows. Skating is what he's living off by!

This is ridiculous!

Hoseok then pauses for a second before hesitating, really hesitates, before looking back at the two again, "Unless we remove the chaos with a new thing for them to talk about so they won't continue to assume."

The fuck is that suppose to mean?!

Jimin got fed up with this unclear language, taking a step forward, "Spit it out."

Jackson lost his patience.

"You and Jeongguk will have to date someone, each of you," Jackson bellows out heavily, hands now on his face, "Who are specifically women."

Life can't get any fucking more better than this.

Seriously it can't.

This has to be the biggest bullshit Jimin has ever heard someone spill out to him about his own damn life!

No one can tame him, not even the public because he doesn't give a shit about them! So who are they to tell him what to do!

Unable to help himself, Jimin choked a laugh, rolling his eyes, "You think I will ever date someone just for the public image-"

"Jimin please," Taemin breathes in desperation, now looking at him, "The chairman was not playing around. He will cancel Jackson's program and you will-"

"Only because two people with dicks are performing?!" Jimin spat out aggressively, face now red in anger, "You're telling us that we have to date other people just to show off that were aren't fucking each other behind closed door?"

Jeongguk and Hoseok both shifts to his vulgar words, meanwhile Taemin and Jackson weren't fazed anymore by his language.

"Yes, that's exactly what we're telling you," Taemin mutters lowly, keeping his eyes steady, "Look we are against this whole situation in general, but we are looking out for Jackson's program and for the sake of you two. He won't be able to run a program in the country! This is just the beginning and I don't want you two to get mixed up in some negative outcome that could possibly happen by not doing this simple thing."

Jimin steps forward but Jeongguk grips his shoulder tightly; holding him back.

This actually riled Jimin up even more, sneering his gaze to Jeongguk before roughly slapping his hand off him.

He's still annoyed with him, something that won't easily change over night. Now with this situation it's the cherry on top.

Jackson rubs his face in stress and continues, "Look this isn't permanent, okay? This is just to drop down the negative attention from both of you. If they know you're in relationships, than they won't think too deep about the pair skating."

This time Jeongguk signed, having Hoseok translate what he said, "Why can't one of us just do it? Why both of us?"

"Because the press already suspect Jimin to be homosexual for a long time," Taemin says, not looking to his gaze this time, "If one of you date someone, whoever it may be, will still result with controversy since they'll think you two are having a secret affair."

Jeongguk scoffs under his breath, "Ridiculous."

"Jeongguk is not even gay-"

"That's not the point Jimin," Hoseok huffs, "To the media you both are, and a little statement won't exactly cut out for it."

By now the stress is reaching a new level, but just as Jimin was about to explode, a knock hits the office door in disruption to their meeting.

And Jackson's face falls, seeming to know exactly who it was. Actually it seems like all three of them knew who it was, except for Jimin and Jeongguk.

And that nerved them, badly.

"Come in."

The door opens and Jimin turns around, being surprised to see Jihyo enter the office with an excited smile. There's another girl that came in but Jimin didn't even look at her as he only focuses on his best friend, who skips towards him with a squeal.

Finally someone who can help him!

Jimin immediately ranted off to her, "Can you fucking believe what they're making me do? Did Taemin tell you what happened? Apparently I have to date some species of a female - can you please convince him-"

"Jimin," Jihyo chuckles, placing a hand to his shoulder, "How can you call your new girlfriend a species already? I kinda prefer a date first before getting into the cute nicknames."

For a good moment Jimin just looks at Jihyo with a head tilted to the side, confused before putting two and two together.

Jihyo is going to be his fake girlfriend.

Should he be relieved that it's Jihyo, or angry that she has to be involved in this?

Whatever it is, Jimin wasn't given the time to think about it properly before Jihyo ruffles with his hair, "Relax, we all know how you don't like people easily so I volunteered when Taemin mentioned it. Besides, we don't have to do all the couply stuff. I think it'll be fun-"

A sudden squeal snaps their attention, adverting all of their gazes to a shocked Jeongguk with eyes glittering as he stares at the girl with beautiful long black hair standing before him. It looks as though he just stumbled upon a diamond, and it wasn't helping that the girl was smiling and signing with her hands to him to her introduce herself.

Jimin perks an eyebrow, "And this is?"

The girl fixes her gaze to him, perking a smile to hide her distaste to his attitude, "Hi, I'm Lalisa Manoban. I'm the captain of the Olympics Women's speed skating program."

Ah.

That explains why Jeongguk is like a little fanboy right now. He looks like he just might pass out on the spot by how excited he is, nearly jumping between his feet as he looks from Hoseok and back to Lalisa with a wide bunny smile behind his hands.

Jimin's eye twitched.

Jackson clasps his fingers on the desk, looking at all of them, "So they're going to be the people you're going to be in a relationship with," He says, nearly making Jeongguk pass out on spot, "With Lalisa and Jeongguk, it'll help bring attention to the speed skating program and support. It's like combining two powerful teams together, so it will definitely receive some good views. As for Jimin and Jihyo, aside from both of you already being close friends, it'll bring attention to your ballet program and see it as a slow burn relationship since you two already have been spotted together before."

Jimin scowls, not liking the fact that this is actually a good ass plan. It just makes sense if they've with them, without bringing suspicion out of no where that it could be just for the press. Jihyo and Jimin already are always together, so now it's just making things official. For Jeongguk and Lalisa it's probably going to take a few more spotting together, maybe even one is enough, to get them talking and approving of the couple.

It's a good plan, but Jimin hates doing anything for the media or just to be accepted.

That's literally everything he's been fighting against, now he has to submit to it? Stupid.

However if they refuse to do this, Jeongguk will be kicked out of the team and it'll be hard for him to even be accepted into another team in the country. Jackson will be denied any job, literally, and he won't have anything else to do to make a living. It's a ridiculous situation, but the chairman would do anything to keep this homosexuality talk out of the picture from reaching the president's ear.

Even though it most likely already has.

As much as Jimin wanted to be a cold hearted bitch and think for himself, he can't. Jackson has been treating him extremely well, and Jeongguk has been working his ass off to be where he is now; who is Jimin to take away their dream because of his pride?

So.... He will cooperate. Fortunate enough Jimin is able to have control about the media when it regards to himself, but about Jackson and Jeongguk that's another case that he can't control.

Shit, this is so fucking messed up.

"Well, if neither of you opposes of this, then do your part," Jackson says, sitting up now, "Now regarding skating alone aside from this, the skating programs connected to this branch have been invited abroad to attend a month of practice and friendly competitions with other teams. You'll be meeting with a lot of people from different parts of the world, for the reason being sole based on skating. Jeongguk, since you're also doing figure and speed skating, we will have to adjust a schedule for you in order to do both comfortably without overdoing yourself. Any questions?"

Lalisa raised her hand, clasping them behind her back when Jackson nods to her, "Will me and Jeongguk have to behave like a couple there? I will say it now and ahead of time that I take speed skating very seriously and I do not like distractions when I'm practicing or in my zone, so.... How is this going to work?"

That's a relevant question, but Jimin still rolls his eyes with arms crossed, while Jeongguk looks at her in awe.

He really looks up to her, no doubt about that. She does have a big record going on with her career and is practically known as a queen in regards to speed skating.

Ha, king and queen join forces, how cute.

"Good question. So the four of you will not be required to do any acts of a relationship while being there, but it's important to show that you are somehow close," Jackson responds, "You will have time off from time to time, and if you wish to go out and explore, I would recommend going with your now partner because reporters or fans are bound to spot you guys together, in that way it won't seem like a hoax."

Lalisa slowly nods to this, understanding without saying anything back.

Jihyo, on the other hand, looks at the intently, twitching a smirk before looking at the coaches, "Can I go? I can be of some support?"

"I will need to you be there for demonstrations," Taemin says, leaning back against the wall, "Jackson has asked me to help out with some of the choreography for Jeongguk and Jimin, for that I will need someone to assist me."

A cocky grin forms Jihyo's lips, glancing at the speed skater girl while giving her a one eye over who didn't even bother to look at her smug stare.

"Say less."

So, I know unlike my other stories, Lisa has a different role! In most stories she's most of the time Jeongguk's sister, or in Broken Dollies someone not so pleasant, but I can guarantee you that you guys will really like her character here.
