Sometimes I kiss people I shouldn't and let them take it to far. Sometimes I ditch school in the middle of the day, walk to the middle of no where until I can feel my heartbeat in my chest. Sometimes I run until I can't breathe. Sometimes I stay awake all night then sleep for eight hours during the day. When it rains sometimes I go outside and sit on the sidewalk. Sometimes I'll play my music so loud I can't hear anything but the beat and the painful drumming in my ears. Sometimes I watch sad movies and cry along with the characters. Sometimes even though I want to cry with all of my being, I'll hold it together just for you. Sometimes I drive down back roads in my car until I can't recognize where I'm going. Sometimes I drink to much and forget about everything and anything. Sometimes I push people away when all I want is a hug. Sometimes I'll open my window and scream at the world until my throat burns. Sometimes I'll drift off to another world inside my head so I can distract myself from you. I do these things to remind myself I'm alive. So I can remind myself I can feel. I do these things to keep myself from going numb.
