Can I really trust them?

Those people I call my friends both here online and offline.

Those friends that will claim to be there for me.

Those friends that claim that they're happy for me.

Those friends that claim I'm a good friend.

Can I really trust them?

I know that what they say is a lie.

Those words of "You're doing a good job!" is a lie.

Those words of "I'll always be there for you!" is a lie.

Those words of "Of course we're friends!" is a lie.

Can I really trust them?

NO.

I can't trust them.

I can't trust anyone.

Because I know that deep down, they all hate me.

They hate me and yet they still call me their "friend" to calm me down.

They still call me their "friend" to make me feel better.

But I know they're lying.

I know they're just saying things.

So, can I really trust them?
