If only they had told him sooner
Maybe then they could be happy.
But they waited to tell him, their anxiety in overdrive to scared to tell him.
They told him and they got rejected.

Now they lie awake knowing that they messed up.
They contemplate going silent never using their voice again, they hate it already so why not get rid of it then no one would have to hear how annoying it is. They wonder what would happen if they cut would it hurt, would it release the pain, would it be easy? They don't know

They are so lost and confused and just don't know what to do. They want help but they also don't. They want to tell someone but is scared of being told that they are lying. They just need someone to tell them what to do. They need an extra support beam but no one is there to provide it.
