"Phil! I'm so glad you could make it!" Hayley exclaims, bringing me into a hug.
She rented out the local club and the bartender, just for the party... Dedication.
She'd even bought her way into allowing everybody to get drinks, even though we're all underage.
Good job, as well; All I want to do tonight is get drunk. And I mean, really drunk.
I've never done anything like this before. I guess, I've never felt the need to.
"I'll have something to get me drunk, please," I ask the bartender, quietly.
"Are you sure, mate? You don't look like the kind of guy to be out getting pissed. Don't do something you'll regret."
"Trust me. I already have," I mumble, fiddling with my hands.
"Okay well, I'm technically not allowed to not serve you drinks so... Remember my name, okay? I'm Evan, call for me when you can't walk straight..." he jokes, a little.
"Thanks," I say, before taking a big swig of whatever the hell I'm drinking.

I woke up with a massive pain, pounding in my head.
'I'm on my bed... How did I get-? Oh yes, I remember now. That bartender, Evan, must have brought me home.'
I walk down the stairs, slowly, rubbing my eyes. I walk over to the cupboards in the kitchen, and start to make my coffee, as my phone lights up my face.
Missed Call from Mum
There was over ten of those... Oh god, she's going to be so mad at me.
But something else caught my eye; something that made my breath catch in my throat and forget anything with my mum.
dan: phil i can't do it
dan: phil please help
dan: help me pleajae
dan: i caanr taje thisd anymroew
dan: phrjk
My phone was overflowing with messages from Dan... I'd messed up big time. I hadn't been there when he'd needed me, I hadn't been there when he was calling for help. For me.
Oh god, I hope he's okay.
