Wednesday.
*Aphmau's POV*
It was now morning. I was wearing my normal school uniform, glad that it was long sleeves. I brushed my long Raven black hair.
I ran down the stairs to my already packed bookbag, and grabbed it. I walked to the kitchen, grabbed a piece of toast.
"Bye Mom! I'm leaving for school!" I yelled out to her. And walked out of my door, heading to school.

On my way, I spotted a boy. From what I could tell, he was blonde and was wearing our school uniform. Huh...
Don't even think about it.
He wouldn't even consider being friends with you.
I listen to them, and walk around him on my way.
"H-hey! Um excuse me?" He called out to me. Surprised I turned to him.
"Me?" I questioned, still surprised looking around.
"Yeah. Um, I suppose you go to Phoenix Drop High, considering your outfit. I'm new. And I was wondering if you could show me where it was, because I was honestly just wandering hoping I could find my way there." He mumbled the last bit.
I looked at him seriously, and stated. "Look, I will give you directions but you really don't want to be seen with me."
"Why?"
"Just cause. Now I'm gonna start walking and you can just follow behind me by a good 10 ft."
"What's your name?" He asks, completely ignoring my instructions.
"Why?"
"I wanna get to know you."
"No you don't, trust me."
"Yes, you can't tell me what I want to do. But my name is Garroth."
"If I tell you my name will you shut up and just follow my instructions, I'm honestly just protecting you."
"If you tell me your name I will listen, yes." He smiles at me.
"Aphmau. Now stay at least 10ft behind me, okay? And try to remember your way." He nodded. And I turned on my heel, and started walking away. With him following. But he soon caught up and walked beside me.

"Sooo, Aphmau. What is your favorite color?"
"I already told you. You don't want to talk to me."
"Yes I do."
"No, you don't. Listen, I get bullied at school, and no one likes me. If I make any friends or anyone tries to stand up for me they get bullied too. So I suggest that you shut up and stay away. New kid Garroth. You wouldn't want your first day to be bad because you hung out with the ugly potato."
I finished my sentence as we neared the school. So, I then walked faster, and he stayed behind me this time, thankfully. And when I got to school, I rushed to my locker trying not to be found by Gene, and his gang.
Unfortunately, today was not my day.
For Gene and his posse were already waiting for me.
"Aww. Look it's the ugly potato. She looks worse than usual. Am I right guys?" He laughed in my face, as well as everyone else in the hallway. And I just stared at him emotionless. To which he glared at me for. He reached out, grabbed me by the collar and slapped me. Probably leaving a mark.

All of a sudden there was a yell, "Hey! Leave her alone!" I turned and saw Garroth. I tried to motion him to shut up. But he came up and pulled me out of Gene's grasp.
"Aww. Potato did you get yourself a boyfriend? However it's to bad he has no clue what he just got himself into."
Gene then backed away. And left. I turned to Garroth and screamed at him,
"Are you crazy!?!" He looked shocked at my outburst.
"Hey, I just saved you, you should be happy. I don't get why you're angry."
"Listen Garroth. You're a nice boy, but seriously, I already told you. Sticking up for me isn't okay for you to do, you will get hurt, either mentally or physically. And you're new here."
"Relax Aph, I took fighting lessons as a kid. If need be I can fight back for the both of us. I do indeed want to be your friend."
"It's your death wish. Give me your schedule."
I looked through his entire schedule. Well! It seems that he has the same exact schedule as me!
"We have the same exact schedule, what's your locker number?"
"1097"
"That's right next to mine, wow what a coincidence." We walked to our lockers. And then headed to home room together.
Don't get used to this.
He will probably leave you like all your old so called friends.
Even Laurence left you, he never even loved you.
This guy will leave too.
They're right as always. I might as well enjoy my time with this "soon-to-be-friend-that-won't-stay"
