Um I'm so sorry guys! It has almost been a week though I know that I said it would be a while before I updated again, I just really missed posting these. So here is a chapter! Hope y'all like it! *mumbles even if it is short.

Late Saturday.
*Aphmau's POV*
I was probably visibly shaking. I was sitting at the dinner table with the Ro'Meave family. Garroth was next to me and Zianna was across from me.
Next to her was Zane and then at the head of the table was Vylad.

Garroth grabbed my hand. Probably sensing my nerves.

"So Aphmau. What is your hobby?" Zianna asked me.

"Hobby? Well... I love playing MMO's. Does that count as a hobby?" I say.

"Wait! You play MMO's?" Zane asks excitedly.

"Yes! We have to meet up one time." I exclaim feeling like myself again.

"Oh you're on!" Zane said.

"I'm gonna beat you to a pulp!" I smile at him. Garroth squeezes my hand, knowing that I'm feeling better.

For now
Leave me be!
Fine. I will be back.

I look up and everyone is staring at me. Except for Garroth, he is really red in the face.

"Uh, sorry. Did someone ask me a question?" I ask.

"I did, Sweetie. I asked do you like G-" Zianna started but Garroth cut her off.

"Gummy bears! Do you like Gummy bears?" Garroth asked.

"Um....gummy bears? Sure..?" I say kinda confused.

Everyone exchanges glances. And I squeeze Garroth's hand, anxious. He just smiled at me.

Zianna starts up a new conversation. Thankfully saving the awkward moment.

After dinner, we hung out in their living room talking.

But at last it was time for me to leave. I stand up from the couch, "Well I had a pleasant time here. But I do have to go home, my mom is probably waiting for me. So bye guys!" I wave at them and turn to leave.

"Wait! Aphmau what was that? On your arms?" Zianna asks curious.

I slowly turn around. And plead at Garroth with my eyes to help me. And he does. He stands up.

"Uh Mum. How about I walk Aph home, I mean it is getting pretty late. And I should take her home. Seeya guys soon!" He takes my hand and pulls me out of his house. I smile at him, as we start to walk down the sidewalk.

"Thank you so much Garroth." I start.

"Oh it was really no problem, I know that you would want to tell them yourself, if you wanted to tell them at all, that is." He rambled. And I giggled.
He then looked at me smiling.

"I think you look amazing wearing a smile." He stated at me. Making me blush.

"Hey. This is how I am, or how I used to be...." I trail looking down. Garroth put his finger on my chin and made me look toward him. And when I did, he leaned in. I started to too.

This will end up like last time.
He will leave you.
And then you will be right back there again,
And this time, you will die.

He was so close to me, that I could feel his breath on mine, and I yanked my head back.

He then looked at me with mix of confusion and sadness. I looked away, muttering apologies. He pulled my chin to look back at him.

"What's wrong?" He asks me.

"It's still too soon. I feel like the same thing is gonna happen again. You are the best guy I have ever met and I don't want to ruin things if we end up going out and then breaking up because it will break my heart in the process." I tell him truthfully. He just looks at me, thinking. And whatever plan he is making I'm sure it will a great one because I can see the wheels turning in his head as we continued walking.

"Be my nothing." He stated out of the blue.

"Huh?" I ask, confused

"Aphmau." He states and stops walking.
I turn towards him. And he continues talking, "I know that you said that you aren't ready for a relationship so I am willing to take this slow. You are the most amazing person I have ever met.

"I really like you. You are the first thing I think about when I go to sleep. The first thing I think about when I wake up. And I know that people say that nothing lasts forever. So I want you to be my nothing. Aphmau I want you to go on a date with me. So will you?"
Garroth holds his breath. Waiting on my reply. And I can't even do that.

I throw my arms around his neck and hug him tight.

"I will take that as a no then." Garroth chuckles.

"....Yes. It's a yes, you dingus."

Laughing a little—from Garroth, and a little from using Katelyn's saying, while pulling away from the hug.

"And can we hold off from the kissing right now, because my mom has been watching from my kitchen window." I whisper before pulling away. He turns beet red. And glances at the window where my mom is standing.

I giggle. Which brings his attention back to me. He hugs me once more, and we separate.

"How about tomorrow meet me at the park?" He asks and I give a brief nod.

"Yes. Perfect, what time do you want me there?" I ask.

"7."

"Kay. See ya tomorrow!"

I go up to my front door and open it sighing deeply when I do, because I already know that this is gonna be a long night.
