THE HUNGRY EARTH

"SO WE CAN'T GET OUT, we can't contact anyone, and something, the something that took my husband, is coming up through the Earth." The women tries to understand.

We were sat in a church trying to figure out how too get Amy back. Well i was sat with Rory by my side as everyone was trying to help.

"Yes. If we move quickly enough, we can be ready." The Doctor walks up to her.

"Who are you again?" I asked and the women replied

"Ambrose, my son Elliot is over there and my husband is missing" she said

"So is my sister, join the club."

"No, stop. This has gone far enough. What is this?"

"He's telling the truth, love." Tony tries to calm her down

"Come on. It's not the first time we've had no mobile or phone signals. Reception's always rubbish."

"Look, Ambrose. We saw the Doctor's friend get taken, okay? You saw the lightning in the sky. I have seen the impossible today, and the only people who've made any sense of it for me is the Doctor and alex." Nasreen looks annoyed by Ambrose.

"Them?" Ambrose asked, pointing between me and the doctor.

"Us."The Doctor and i say at the same time, but him enthusiastically while sorting out computers and me, moody, sat on boxes messing with my manipulator

"Can you get my dad back?"

Elliot asks making everyone look at him with sad eyes

"Yes." The Doctor walks towards Ambrose "But I need you to trust me and do exactly as I say from this second onwards because we're running out of time."

"So tell us what to do." Ambrose says finally trusting him.

"Thank you. We have eight minutes to set up a line of defense. Bring me every phone, every camera, every piece of recording or transmitting equipment you can find." The Doctor orders

"Wouldn't trust him if i was you, he leaves for years on end, and when he doesn't show Up, takes away things from you" i smiled at Ambrose whole jumping off he box and taking off outside to follow the doctors orders

Rory joined me outside and with him, me and Ambrose we managed to get most of the electronics we could find.

Most of the time you would find me on rorys shoulders sticking camera to trees or walls.

"Are you brother and sister then?" Rory turned around a bit too quickly so I nearly fell off his shoulders

"Steady on Williams, ill crack my neck" i held onto his head while staring at ambrose

"Shes my soon to be sister - in - law yes" Rory responded as he turned around so i could continue to put the camera in the wall

"I never had an invitation by the way" i said as he helped me down cracking his neck

"Your an assumed alex, as soon as we knew you were still alive your name was already on the list" Rory said as i smiled up at him. He pulled me into a hug and rested his head on mine.

"We will get her back alexia, i just know it."

A bit later....

Me and Rory was setting up our last camera on one of the gravestones."How're you doing?" The Doctor asked coming up behind us.

"It's getting darker, How can it be getting dark so quickly?" Rory asked, looking at the sky which is going black

"Ah! Well, shutting out light from within the barricade. Trying to isolate us in the dark. Which means..." We heard a rumbling.

"It's here."

Rory and the doctor both helped me down this time, we headed for the porch but i was stopped by the doctor. Rory looked at us but the doctor ushered him away with his hand

"Why don't you trust me?" The doctor asked me as i shook my head

"Not now doctor" i tried to walk away but he stopped me, putting his hands either sides of my face

"Rivers death happened early for you, i know, i put that together when i first regenerated, but it was never my fault, I didn't want her to go either, I didn't know her back then but she still meant a lot to me, just like Amy does now. Alexia we have the same friends, the same family, you are my family and I'm doing everything in my will power to search for Amy. And I know we are not friends at the moment, but you should know that i would never let anyone you love die"

The doctor kissed my head and pulled me into a hug which i returned.

"I know doctor, i was pissed, i tried but I couldn't save her myself, i needed someone to blame, and you made me let go so i blamed you."

We pulled away and the doctor looked at me

"I couldn't lose the both of you" the doctor replied before he took my hand and we both ran to the church porch

Once we got there we could see Rory and Ambrose who was having trouble with the door.

"I can't open it! It keeps sticking! The wood's warped." Ambrose said, struggling to open the door.

The Doctor let go of my hand and tried the door.

He turned back to Me and Rory. "Any time you want to help."

"Can't you sonic it?" Rory asked.

"It doesn't do wood!" The Doctor said.

"That is rubbish!" Rory said, as i raised my eyebrows not impressed.

"Oi! Don't diss the sonic! The Doctor shouts.

Rory and i joined them and it took four of us to open the door.

We made their way inside the church to join Tony and Nasreen as the church door slammed shut behind us.

The ground was shaking as the imminent arrived

"See if we can get a fix." The Doctor ran to the computer. He narrowed down the area with the program Tony set up. The computers sparked and the power went out.

"No power." Tony said as i replied "no shit Sherlock"

"What do we do now?" Rory asked, pointing to the screen, ignoring my remark.

Tony turned on a bright torch.

"Nothing. We've got nothing! They sent an energy surge to wreck our systems." The Doctor begins to pace.

"Is everyone okay? Is anyone hurt?" Rory asked, seeing if anyone had been hit by falling objects.

"I'm fine." Nasreen replied as tony said "I'm good."

"Me too." Ambrose reassured,There was a loud rumbling.

"Doctor, what was that?" Rory asked.

"It's like the holes at the drill station." I said remembering what had happened

"Is this how they happened?" Nasreen asked.

The Doctor listened to the ground. "It's coming through the final layer of Earth."

"What is?!" Nasreen asked panicked.

The Doctor stood quickly. There was silence.

"The banging's stopped." Tony pointed out

"Alright captain obvious" i said as i felt Roy slap my arm. I looked at him shocked as i rubbed it and he shrugged

"Your sister would've done it" he said

"Where's Elliot? Has anyone seen Elliot? Did he come in? Was he in when the door was shut? Who counted him back in? Who saw him last?"

"I did." The Doctor replied.

"Where is he?" Ambrose asked, in a panic.

"He said he was going to get headphones." The Doctor replied shrugging his shoulders.

"And you let him go? He was out there on his own?" Ambrose asked angrily

"No, Alex went along with him." The Doctor replied, causing Rory's head to shoot up.

"What?" He asked as all there heads turn to me as i waved innocently

"You never spoke a word to Alex, she was busy on rorys shoulders putting up these cameras"

Everyone hears Elliot banging on the door, we all run to try to open it.

"Elliot!" Ambrose yells

"Let me in." Elliot pleaded

"He's out there. Help me!" Ambrose tried to get the door open. 

"Open the door. Mum! There's something out here." Elliot begins to panic

"Push, Elliot." Ambrose shouts to him.

We all try to pull the door open but it won't budge, i was on my knees trying to pull and the doctor was on top of me.

"Let me in." He pleads.

"He's out there! Help me." Ambrose shouts to us

"We're trying" i shouted as i pushed and pulled even harder

"Open the door!... Mum! There's something out here!" Elliot yells in fear. 

"Come on!" Tony managed to get the door open.

"Elliot!" Ambrose cried out.  As everyone rushed outside, but there was no sign of them

"Where is he?" Ambrose ran out. "He was here! Elliot." She ran into the graveyard. 

"Ambrose, don't go running off!" The Doctor yelled.

  "Ambrose!" Tony ran to go after her. 

I sat down in the church porch as the doctor and Rory stayed with me.

"Why did you let him go?"i asked as the doctor shook his head

"I thought he would be fine, its only down the road"

"He's a kid doctor, do you not know how to parent?" I asked as the doctor shook his head no

"you parent me" the doctor said as we all heard screaming

The Doctor, Rory and i came running up.

"What happened?" The Doctor asked .

"My dad's hurt." Ambrose responds.

"Get him into the church now!" The Doctor orders.

  "Elliot is gone. They've killed him, haven't they?" Ambrose asked tears forming in her eyes.

  "I don't think so. They've taken three people when they could've just killed them up here. There's still hope, Ambrose. There's always hope." The Doctor spoke.

"Then why have they taken him"

"I don't know. I'll find Eliot, I promise. But first I've gotta stop this attack. Please, get inside the church." The Doctor promised

  "Come on, Dad." Ambrose helped Tony head back to the church.

"So, what now?" Rory asked as he looked between the three of us .

  The Doctor devised a plan which lead me and Rory crouching in the meals on wheels van in ready to catch whoever we are up against. I we had the no kill rules which i did not think I could anyway since i left all my weapons i the tardis

"Cold blood... I know who they are." He said in a sing-song voice.  I heard the doctor as he stood by the meals on wheels van, whistling.

The creature screamed and that was our to jump out of the back, yelling. We did that and pushed the creature into the van, locking the doors.

"We got it!" Rory exclaimed.

"Defending the planet with meals on wheels!" The Doctor shouts.

We all raised our hands to High five but was  distracted by a rumbling.

"What was that?" Rory asked.

"Sounds like they're leaving."

"Without this one?"

The dome that surrounded us  let the sunshine in the darkness going away.

"Looks like we scared them off." Rory smiled.

"I don't think so. Now both sides have hostages." The Doctor said,

I left the doctor to interview the creature on his own, i went back to the church, Rory not far behind.
