The Garden of the World

Since you all seemed to like my previous story, I thought "Why not make another one?"

This will be a kid-friendly story just like my other story so tell your kids this story in the future! Now let's start!

One day, there was a man (Let's call him Tino) watering the flowers of his huge garden. Tino was one of the best gardeners in the world! He had many flowers from all over the world like roses, lotus flowers, iris flowers, orchids and more, but his favourite flowers were the lily of the valley, the marguerite daisy, the white dryad, the linnea and the saxifraga cotyledon. Each of these five flowers came from his five favourite countries; Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and Norway. Not like that's important anyway!

As Tino was watering his flowers, he noticed that he had only one flower from each country in the world. He was sad, knowing that if he made a single mistake, he could accidentally kill one of the flowers. Yes, he could just get more seeds for more flowers but these flowers are special, okay?

A few days later, rumors broke out that flowers and other plants from all over the world were dying mysteriously. Tino heard the rumors and got scared. He ran into his garden and checked on every single flower. Everything seemed normal until he checked the flowers of North America. The mayflower of Canada and the rose of America were wilted. There was no sign of life left in the flowers.

Suddenly, there was a news flash on television screens all over the world. A disease was spreading through Canada and America, killing everyone there. There were no more Canadian maple syrup and hockey lovers and American hamburger/hotdog and baseball/basketball lovers left in the world.

Soon, more flowers died in Tino's garden. By the end of the year, the lily of the valley was the only flower left and Finland was the only country standing.

The disease that started in Canamerica (That's a real country, right?) swept over the land of Finland and everyone died.

But Tino held onto his last breaths! He looked at the lily of the valley and watched it as it slowly wilted. Once the flower was completely devoid of life, Tino died. The Earth and the garden were now devoid of any life.

THE END!

Did you like my kid-friendly story? It's more serious than the last story but the endings are similar!

I should tell this story to Sealand! It would be a great bedtime story!
