Summary:
Mathias Køhler had volunteered to have two new inventions installed into him; the power of having the "Lunar gift" and a device that could save the mind from that gift. Being a nation, Mathias was stronger than normal human volunteers not only physically, but also mentally. He was confident that he was safe from the destruction of his mind, until his special device breaks. Without the safety of the device, Mathias could lose control of his mind, making him insane, or something even worse.
