I'm gonna be a bit more serious with this one, in today's society of an ever expanding American government, and gun scared politicians, this 'poster' makes an excellent point. It's not the firearm that kills someone, it's the person who pulled the trigger who should be held responsible for the crime. And the biggest deterrent to armed crimes, is the knowledge that you could very likely be stopped by someone else with a weapon, who knows how to use it. Most (something like 85%) of criminals and street thugs, are cowards, attacking only when they have a numerical advantage (or they're higher than a kite), and at the first sign of actual armed resistance, they'll break and run, both my parents, and my 22 year old sister and her husband all have concealed carry permits, and regularly do so, and in 2 years when I'm 21, I plan on applying for one as well (partly because I'm slightly paranoid)
Well, this has just been a not-so-short rant on my opinion of the U.S. Government's recent (and not so recent) attempts to severely reduce the number of legally armed citizens. Cya!
