At Moon Wolf Shrine deities were whispering as they gathered in surprise that she had come back after so many years of being absent.
"You should not be here, Silver Fang." A wolf spat, Silver recognized him, he had helped her earlier. This must be a guise, if so, so must she.
"You forget who built this shrine." The young wolf followed Silver's hand with his eyes, going cross eyed as she held her hand at his forehead. With an unchanging expression Silver flicked the young wolf hard causing his head to go back. It was her famous one flick blunder, the flick leaves the victim with a horrible headache. The young wolf squatting holding his forehead with a slight tremble with a headache starting to form.
"Anyone else going to question my being here?" Silver Fang challenged her hand ready to flick, the rest still stood and watched. All feared the legendary flick of holy hell. When none dared to challenge, Silver went on her way to the shrine.

Snow Tip was sitting in a room behind the prayer box listening to and writing the wishes of the people that come. The room she sat in had a tatami floor as it was traditional and all the rooms have it laid out. Screens which act like moveable walls to rooms, if all of the screens were moved back a skeleton of a house will stand. In this room where Snow Tip sat had them closed, and the screens where a simple white. Only in that room are they with a pattern. As she wrote down the last of a wish her ear twitched at the sound of many voices outside making a ruckus, if it was humans the shrine keepers would handle it but it has not stopped.
"Anyone else going to question my being here?" Snow Tip slammed the writing brush on the table. That person should not be here, her safety is at risk. The shrine is not too popular, so leaving for a short time would not hurt.
Snow Tip went to the back entrance to greet Silver. "May I ask for what is your return for?"
"In the years I have been absent, have my things been touched?" Silver answered with a question, her tone firm and strong. A moment of silence, and hard tension filled the air so thick the curious deities pulled it back like a veil to see. Snow Tip was almost hurt at the cold tone Silver spoke to her in, but she did not speak exactly in a warm voice to Silver either.
"This way." Snow Tip finally broke the tension, in a huff. Snow Tip led Silver on the wooden walkway that wraps around most of the shrine.
The screen door was pushed aside hard giving the landing a hard thud. "Careful with that! That was a generous gift." Silver wined to Snow Tip as she followed the fox through a hallway that once was the outside the original part of the shrine. The innermost part of the shrine is considered special, the wood still scared from a fire, white screens replace missing spring patterned screens destroyed by the same fire.
Snow Tip stood to the side allowing Silver Fang to slide the screen giving them access to the room. Silver took one step in and stood there, that familiar smell of dried rice grass in the tatami mats greeted her like an old friend. Silver waited no longer to enter her long missed room. Another thud was made making even Snow Tip flinch and Silver sighed. "You did not have to live in a screenless shrine during winter, so, of course you would not know how to cherish this wonders gift." Silver's eyes found no scars in the tatami from where the fire had ravaged.
"That family still gives to the shrine." Snow, let her mentor be some what and answers the gaze that searched the room.
"That is why all this is like this? I remember the screens being replaced, cause after that I slept for three days. But the tatami, why there was no need." Not even Snow Tip could answer that question, what she could remember was a sudden smell of fresh tatami coming from the room one day.
"What brings you here? You should not be able to enter." The question burned a hole through the fox's mouth.
Silver Fang stopped in mid step and faced Snow Tip. With a deep breath she flicked her wrist and a barrier around her old room closed it off from any possible ease droppers.
"I was tainted from the start, in the womb I was part vampire. So infect the barrier I had put up oh so long ago would be defective, almost." Silver finally dropped her guise and was herself.
"That is nearly impossible the mother or the baby would die." Snow Tip finally let out the breath she was holding. "I mean how?"
"I am not quite sure, I mean, she doesn't really get it either."
"Who is she?" Snow Tip wondered, almost in fear.
"The Grand Mother of Deities. A maid tossed me out just after I came out, mother never had a chance to even look at me." Silver Fang was excited, happy, and nervous all at once causing her to get bubbly.
"So that makes your father the vampire?" Snow Tip just stood not even lifting a finger.
"Yeah, the previous first rank." Silver's face was stuffed in a drawer rummaging for something. "I am going to leave the shrine to you." She spoke again as she lifted a piece of cloth and brought it back down.
"You have done that already." The snow fox groaned getting a look Silver. "Officially it will be left to you, so now you can have this room and other benefits."
"Wait, why are you revoking your home?" Snow finally showed some emotion as she was surprised by her mentor.
"I am not, it was revoked from me." Silver finally found what she was looking for and continued to on. "There are branch disputes on what to do with me and what not. My old commander still tries to take command of me and wants me killed. It is common knowledge in the celestial children circles that he hates the deities. When I was found to be deity after going through celestial training and being put under him it is quite understandable."
Silver bradded her long silver hair and pinned the tip to her head to keep it out of her way. In the process Silver had thrown her silky elegant kimono of four blues off to the side and was putting on a different short kimono she managed to find, not her favorite Snow still has that one, the one she found hidden in the drawers still works.
"Can you help me?" Silver asked becoming a little flustered with the wrist guards. She left the short dark kimono draped over her shoulders and untied the guards for the fourth time around her arms.
"Very well." Snow Tip sighed as she neared her mentor. "Thanks you know how to tie it just right." Silver gleamed allowing the fox to fix the guards to both arms.
"Shall I do the legs?" Snow tip asked, Silver looked down away from the mirror as she fixed her short kimono. "Hm? Nah, I'll do those."
"Do you know what to do?" Snow Tip asked when she was finished. Silver now in a sleeveless black short kimono with a long obi or sash that the end drapes over the edge and tie that kept it still.
"I am going to drain him." Silver spoke mercy less in a cold tone. "Prepare the blind gown." She shouted as she left the room.
