Yugi has grown up hearing of the Demons and Shrine Deities war, and all the other supernatural stories. He never believed in these stories, until one day.
School had just ended, the tri spiky haired boy walked out of the building. All by himself, his friends had clubs or supplement exams to do. He looked into these clubs but none interested him. Most of the clubs were sports related, which were not his favorite thing to do. Just as he walked past the school gates sighing, a certain group left as well. Few hundred meters away from from the school, away from prying eyes was their attack launched.
"Hey midget!" A strong booming voice yelled in a threatening manner. Slowly with fear griping him, Yugi turned around. To his delight -not- were those old friends of his. The bullies. They had not neared Yugi since the beginning of high school -not like he was complaining. "W-w-w-hat?" The boy stuttered in a quite voice that the group strained to hear him. "Wha?" One of them asked with an intelligent reply. "What should we do to him?" One of the lackeys asked with a grimacing smile. "What we always do." The boss replied.
"Run!" A voice rang out to little Yugi. Though escape was impossible one of the bullies had grabbed him by the collar. "Let him go." The voice rang again in a demanding tone towards the group. The man who had Yugi gave a deaf ear to the voice.
"L--le--let--hi--him--g--go." Another one stuttered.
"Why?" He asked not taking his eyes off of the boy.
"C-cause it's he--her." He then turned his head to see what he meant. She was walking casually towards them. With a smirk that just said death. With shaking hands the man who held Yugi let go. Without a second thought Yugi ran. He knew this voice, but where did it come from? Where did he know this voice? This voice smoothed his shaking soul.
The bullies stood there, a few ran off in fear. One fainted which only broaden her smirk.
"I do believe. I have told you. That if you touched him. You are going. To feel hell." Pausing here and there to make sure they understood. Her smirk turned into half smile, half smirk. The side that was smiling showed one fang.
That sight made them run. Knowing full on that if they told anyone.1) no one would believe them.2) or their food. She chuckled at the sight, and continued to walk down following the same path that Yugi took.
Somewhere in the shadows was a man watching all that was happening. A deep disappointed frown on his face as he too followed.
"I'm home!" Rang throughout the house. As Yugi entered his home.
"Welcome back!" Was a reply that rang back to the boy. Yugi's grandfather soon followed the voice to greet him.
After eating dinner with his grandfather, he went to go to his room to work on school work. Some of those teachers liked to give a lot, with little time to do it. Some time later finishing most of the school work the ones that needed to be done. He decided to go to bed early. A shadow stood there in the corner smiling, it was quiet and she liked that.
The eery presence from earlier, smiling showing his hunger as well when the lights went out in the room.
