Fifteen
Yami woke up on a hard slightly rotten out wooden bed. Curious with a grunt he tried to get up but was held down and with metal rattling, now Yami knew why. Taking a look he knew exactly where he was. When he was a fresh vampire he had spent quite a bit of time down here, in the dungeon. Drawing blood in the most painful of ways from ancient humans. Oh how Yami wished to be back in the palace, prince, brother of the pharaoh of Egypt. Now the title is prince, bother of the king of darkness and hell.
A small soft squeak from a small distance made his head snap as he jerked his head towards the source of the sound. It was coming from a cell and what soon followed was that so, sweet smell of human blood. He recognized that smell, it was Yugi's sweet innocent scent. Now he was mad, Yami jerked with all his might to pull these chains but leverage was not doing him right. Having chained many akin to get answers, one finds ways to hold a beast with mere rope.
An iron gate and a voice got him to stop his thrashing only momentarily. "To think my dear beloved brother would betray me." The older Atem, held a regal tone as he neared the traitor. Yami's thrashing continued in hope of finding the weakest link in one of the chains.
"Brother, you of all people should know that, doing that won't work. You helped me make this wonderful way to draw blood." Atem laid his head next to his brother smiling a teasing smile.
"What is to gain with all of this?" Yami asked as he gave up on thrashing. "To bring the family together." Atem stood with a drag, his fun earlier made him tired and now he his feeling it.
"You know bringing back the dead is impossible." Yami interrupted Atem just as he was getting there. "If you would shut up," Atem still had the riding crop much to his delight swung at Yami hitting him in the stomach. "You would have learned that I had no wish for that soft belly fool to come back."
Now Yami was not only in pain for that was a hard strike, he was confused. All the family Yami knew of was Atem, their father, and himself who else was apart of the family.
"I remember father saying he wanted to bound a powerful priestess. Anyway, I'll come back later." Ending with a yawn Atem left his brother bound by chain there on that table.

Silver Fang had dropped on her knees Talú and the Grand Mother of Deities had just left the way they came back. Leaving Silver in an information overload, it was hard to take in all of it and yet it all seems to fit in place.
"She never told us who she was." Joey tired of being silent finally spoke up.
"With how things were at that time she ended up losing her name." Silver was devoid of emotion because she was overwhelmed.
"How or why did she lose her name?" Ryou politely asked the other white hair.
"After coming back from Egypt wounded greatly by a fight. Those able to, took care of her and by the time she was healed Egypt was no longer the great country. She said a blood bath took place by the Romans of the few remaining Egyptians when she was finally able to go back. She then came back, there was no pledge bounding her to the new ruler of the land. Unfortunately, since all the Egyptians that knew her name died, so did her name. None of us knew what it was." Silver Fang explained things as things were clicking in one by one.
"I have to go." Silver said, her confidence ever so slowly coming back.
"Why? Are you just going to abandon Yugi? Just like she abandoned you? Them?" Silver held a finger up near Ryou's mouth. Anger showed through the calm blank face Silver held. Both teenagers shivered in fear, the deity was just as furious as them for the result of the battle.
"I said I had to go, I did not say I will leave. Neither of us is ready for battle, I am going to get stronger. You should too and get some of your better weapons." Silver had calmed down a bit as she thought about plans.
"Four days, three days we train the fourth day is to rest to get our strength back and that same day we plan. The three of us meets at the hidden clearing in the park. Ryou do you know where that is?" Ryou nodded slowly to the deity's question.
"Joey, you are important to my ideal plan. Please, practice your speed, it will be key to Yugi's escape. Ryou please make sure Joey gets there. Tomorrow is day one." With that the deity left them there to their own devices. Joey and Ryou left the house together, but outside of the house they said their momentarily farewells and went different ways.
Sugoroku who was in the game shop closed it early and went back to the house greeted by emptiness.
