Rin and Ayana returned back to the rest of the cram students, while still holding hands; and when they got there, they arrived to the group that just stared in awe at them.

"W-what happened out there?!" Bon asked

Rin and Ayana exchanged looks, then they gave each other a toothy grin with their eyes closed. Rin looked back at the group then said

"Hehe hobgoblins. Lots of them."

"Wait. You were attacked by hobgoblin's?!" Yukio asked.

"Yeah, Rin here decided to just kill their mother. So of course he'd get attacked." Ayana looked at Rin.

"Hey! It's not my fault! I didn't know!" Rin complained. But then Yukio said

"Wait. Ayana-San? You just said he... So you weren't with him when my brother got attacked?"

"No."

"So, how was Rin able to find you so quickly after?" Shura asked, and Ayana replied

"Oh, I saw his flames going bonkers from where I was so... I knew he was in trouble."

Rin then said "wait how did you know I was in trouble? I could have been doing just fine." Rin gave a smug look.

"I have flames of my own too Rin. I know them. And how yours were flying around... I could tell you were having some trouble. What's with all these questions anyway?"

"Ah yeah sorry. So is everything okay now?"Yukio asked

Rin and Ayana said in unison "yeah"

"Okay so we should go talk to Mephisto now th-"

Before Yukio could finish, a pink puff of smoke appeared. And when it cleared, it revealed Mephisto standing right behind Ayana.

Mephisto than exclaimed"ah! Ayana-San! It's been too long~" he wrapped his arms around Ayana from behind.

"Huh?!" Everyone was as red as a tomato because they had never once seen Mephisto hug someone.

But Ayana looked very pissed. Her vein was popping as well. She then said

"Back off you creepy clown!"

Ayana made flames on her back, which formed into a hand and pushed Mephisto away. And she made sure it was extra hot for him.

"Ow ow hot!" Mephisto grabbed his lower chest where Ayana had burnt him"what a cruel way to treat an old friend Ayana-San" he fake pouted then smirked right after.

Ayana glared at him then looked away. She then said "well you're lucky I didn't make them extra extra hot cause you helped me out." Ayana looked back at Mephisto and said "and it hasn't even been that long considering how old you are."

Mephisto gasped "what are you saying? I'm not old!"

"Uhh yeah you are. And quit telling people you're young will ya?!"

Ayana continued to scold Mephisto as everyone gazed in awe at the two. But Rin felt very awkward because Ayana was still holding his hand as she yelled at Mephisto. So, she'd keep tugging his hand when she moved.

"Geez you were so much cuter as a child" Mephisto pouted then smirked "and you used to love me so much! Always called me Mr. Clown~"

"Huh?! What are you saying?! I never loved you! I found you very creepy. And I still do! And you got the nickname wrong. I called you Mr. Creepy clown. And why would you think I loved you if I called you a clown?!"

"Umm Ayana?"

"What?!" Ayana jerked her head at Rin with a glare which made Rin slightly jump. "Oh" Ayana realized she was still yelling so she calmed down a bit. Then she said

"sorry. What is it?"

"Well uh" Rin sweat dropped "I just wanted to know how you knew Mephisto?"

Then Shura said "I think we all would like to know that." Shura glared at Mephisto "since you probably knew about her flames yet you told no one about you knowing her."

Mephisto smirked at Shura then said "I made I vow not to tell anyone~"

Shura kept glaring "a vow with who."

Then Ayana said "with my father."

Everyone looked at Ayana while she was looking at the ground with a serious look. "Mephisto knew him, and when he met me, he had to vow not to tell anyone about my father or I."

"Why?" Bon asked

"Because... If my name came around here in Assiah and somehow came across Rin... He might have remembered me."

"What's wrong with that?" Izumo asked.

"Cause the deal we made with Father Fujimoto was to keep me away from Rin until my powers were fully controlled. And so Rin's demonic powers weren't awakened."

Ayana looked at Rin and softly smiled"but I guess you didn't need me for that to happen."

Rin softly chuckled and scratched the back of his head"yeah, guess not"

Yukio then said "well. Now that that's all cleared up. Mephisto, will you be able to-"

Mephisto cut him off "of course!"

"You didn't even know what he was going to say..." Ayana said

Mephisto then said "You, Ayana-San, need my help during the Vatican trial, so you will be able to live~"

Everyone sweat dropped and Rin murmured "okay, guess he did know."

"So you're helping me then?" Ayana eagerly asked

"Yes! Anything for you Ayana-San~" Mephisto was about to hug Ayana again, but she quickly sped over in circles to the other side of the group.

That's when Ayana realized, she was still holding Rin's hand. She looked down at their hands, then looked at Rin's face. His face was flushed from the dizziness from her speed. It looked like he was about to lose his balance as well.

"Oh! Ah s-sorry Rin!" Ayana stuttered then quickly let go of Rin's hand. She grabbed his arm to keep him from falling over.

Rin placed his hand on Ayana's shoulder as well to keep himself balanced. After a few seconds, Rin blinked a few times then they both let go each other. Rin then said "oh don't worry about it! haha"

Ayana lightly bit her lip and her face was flushed with embarrassment. She didn't even realize that she was holding Rin's hand that whole time!

Rin noticed this so he softly smiled at Ayana and ruffled her hair with his cheeks tinted pink.

"H-hey! What are you doing?!" Her face got more red as she put her hands on her hair to stop Rin from ruffling them.

Rin cheekily smiled at her, and continued to ruffle Ayana's hair.

"Riiiin! Stop it will yaaaa?" Ayana whined as she tried to move Rin's hands from her head.

This made Rin chuckle, then he took his other hand and started to ruffle her hair with both hands.

This made Ayana get mad though. She gave Rin the scariest death glare and said

"Rin. Quit it."

But Rin wasn't looking at her face. He then said

"Hehe why should I? Haha! It's fun!"

As everyone watched Ayana's anger grow more and more, this made them nervous. Then Shima said

"Umm O-Okumura-kun... I really think you should stop..."

Rin looked at Shima confused and said"Hm? Why? This is fun!" But when he noticed everyone nervously looking at Ayana, he slowly looked at her and terror filled his eyes.

Ayana's face had the scariest look, like she was gonna kill him.

Rin slightly jumped and quickly removed his hands from her head.

Ayana calmed down a bit and started to fix her hair.

But when Rin looked at her, he couldn't help but laugh. Her hair... Was completely messed up! It just looked to funny.

Rin covered his mouth but started snickering. Shima couldn't help it either, he started snickering too. Shiemi started to lightly giggled at this scene and everyone except for Yukio and Shura had a smile on their face. But you could tell, they were trying not to.

Ayana noticed this and her face turned red as tears of embarrassment started to form in the corners of her eyes.

She jerked her head to Rin and right away, he stopped laughing.

Ayana angrily growled "Riiinnnn"

Rin was sweating like crazy. He was very nervous of what was going to happen.

No one wanted to be in Rin's shoes right now.

Before anyone knew it, Rin ran as fast as he could leaving nothing but dust behind. But Ayana followed straight behind leaving nothing but dust as well. The two now left the Exwires, Yukio, Shura and Mephisto behind.

"Umm shouldn't we stop her? What if she really hurts Rin?" Miwa asked

Shura replied"Nah she won't. Rin's her best friend. He's the whole reason why all this happened. She wouldn't kill him."

Then Yukio said "but we probably should follow, just incase."

"Alright, your call" Shura said, then everyone except for Mephisto ran after the two half-demons.

When Mephisto was then alone, a devious smirk spread across his face.

"How amusing"He murmured.

Meanwhile, as Rin was running, Ayana was right on his tail(not literally XD). And as Ayana ran, it started to help her calm down. That anger she had before was now replaced with a laugh.

She slowed down, and decided to let Rin run. But about half a kilometre away, Rin stopped and turned around realizing, Ayana had stopped chasing him.

Ayana noticed Rin look slightly up and his eyes widened. Rin was about to yell something to her, but Ayana then felt a huge weight push her to the ground.

Ayana groaned in pain, and before she could get up again, she felt someone heavy sit on top of her back.

She felt a cold weapon touch her neck as she heard the person on top of her say

"You are under arrest by the name of the Vatican, demon scum."
