Otokata is a human-born demon who's affiliated with the Raucos. He is Cannaima's younger brother and was held captive and abused by the Nefarious Four, whose leader was his and Nai's older sister, Valacaria. He carried on heavy trauma from this. He uses Sigil Magic and appears in Demons of Death-Hunted only so far.

Appearance:

Otokata is a young boy with messy, mid-long brown hair and red eyes. A part of his left ear is missing and he has a clearly visible birth mark on his neck. His body is covered with scars. When he first appeared, he was only wearing a light, torn ashen nightgown reaching his thighs. Later on, he wears a gray hoodie and jeans.

Personality:

In the beginning, Otokata is extremely unresponsive, shy, closed up and silent. He doesn't speak in full sentenses or not at all sometimes. He's extremely terrified of females and gets panic attacks around them, which often causes him to hallucinate as well. He's absolutely insecure and self-conscious about his body, being super anxious when changing clothes or taking baths or showers. He sleeps badly at night and often has to deal with nightmares, causing him to lack sleep a lot. The smell of blood or the sight of dog collars and chains also are enough to trigger his deeply-rooted panic. He's traumatized beyond repair, thus very sensitive and helpless. During an episode of terror, he usually starts crying, screaming, shaking uncontrollably and crouching up to protect himself, trying to lash out to keep everyone away from him. He has trust issues and needs a very long time to open up to someone. He also has attachment issues, usually clinging to one person and having difficulties to warm up to others. He's utterly broken and vulnerable, but also doesn't like to be alone. He usually hides behind people he trusts in search of security.

Past:

Otokata grew up with his siblings in poverty. His parents were unqualified for high-paying jobs, thus being stuck in this cycle. They put all their hopes into their middle daughter, Miyako, to be able to marry a rich man. Thus, they spent the little money they had solely on her well-being, while Otokata and his big sister were left hungry. Ultimately, their parents forced them to view Miyako as their food source, a way of her repaying what they give her, or they would die. Otokata became crazy with hunger, but he refused to hurt her, which is why he remained hungry most of the time. He tried looking for food on the streets and in garbage cans instead, but was more often than not unlucky. He loved Miyako and apologized to her each time, each day, for his parents and sister hurting her like that. Miyako often shared her food with him so he wouldn't starve to death. After Miyako left, his parents had nothing left to give them, so he threw him and his big sis Shura out of their house. Still suffering from hunger, Shura first turned into a demon and proceeded to bring Otokata under her control. She viewed males as worthless dogs there to serve the women, so she did to him what their parents did to Miyako in order to fulfil her needs, ripping parts from his body to eat. Then, Otokata himself turned, trying to defend himself against Shura, but because of her psychokinetic powers, he could do nothing but submit to her. She tortured him for years, using him as her "personal" service dog to have fun with, even raping him a lot, which caused Otokata to become heavily traumatized and scared of females. Shura also found three similar-thinking female friends who did and thought the same, asking Jikinio to use her healing powers to restore Otokata's body each time she ripped something off of him, which she did.

Relationships:

To Cannaima: At the very start, he didn't recognize her and was terrified of her, but as soon as he realized who she is, he remembered she was the only one in their family who showed at least some affection towards him. He was mistrustful and unresponsive towards her at first but opened up to her, as she was his sister after all, and found a safe haven in her. She is the only girl he isn't terrified of. Nai on the other hand is super protective of her little brother and showers him with love and affection as much as she can to make it possible for him to heal from his trauma.

To Valacaria: Being treated like a worthless piece of garbage by his own sister and being mistreated and abused by her caused him to lose trust in every female demon and demons who look female (so even male demons with long hair, such as Azra and Cayonim). He was terrified beyond belief of her, while she saw him as some sort of toy to play with- a toy she could continue using even after it broke.

Magic and Abilities:

Otokata has Sigil Magic, also known as Rune, Symbol or Emblem Magic, and that is a sub-form of Scripture Magic. These sigils, also referred to as intention-charged symbols, appear in the back of his hand, and depending on the used sigil, it unleashes different powers. One sigil has a five minute countdown until it has to be reprojected.

-Yin Yang Sigil (Allows the user to charge the power of light and darkness at once and unleash it.)

-Power Sigil (gives the user a huge boost of physical power.)

-Recovery Sigil (gives the user the power to burn their own energy and heal someone else.)

-Flame Sigil (gives the user the power to charge flames and burn the opponent or inflict pain to them by a burning hot touch.)

-Guard Sigil (enables the user to create a protective shield.)

-Relief Sigil (user burns part of his energy to diminish someone else's pain.)

-Cleansing Sigil (allows the user to burn part of their energy to heal poisoning.)

-Blindness Sigil (allows the user to temporarily steal the opponent's eyesight.)

-Speed Sigil (equips the user with additional speed boosts as long as this sigil is active.)

-Electric Sigil (allows the user to release an electric discharge upon touch that might paralyse the enemy.)

-Mirror Sigil (makes the user able to mirror everything the opponent does for a limited amount of time.)

-Scripture Magic (Script Magic users can rewrite/destroy the sigils and so make them worthless.)

- Otokata and Nai are the only pair of siblings that has turned from humans into demons.

- His flower is is the Eglantine Rose, also known as Sweet Briar. If given to someone, the flower is a symbol for saying the person who gave them is hurt, mostly emotionally, and needs time to heal. Otokata has been heavily traumatized and abused up to recent days, which means he would need a lot of time for this "wound" to heal, if that's even a possibility.
