Appearance:

Agurith is a strongly built guy of 5'8 in height with scarlet red hair interspersed by light blue strands covering his left eye. Some chest-length strands surround his face, the other parts of his hair are very short. He has black, fin-shaped marks under his eyes, giving him a rowdier look, and a rather pointed chin. Adding up to his pretty muscular body are his broad shoulders. He wears two light green earrings in the helix of either ear. He has the for demons typical pointed ears and red eyes with slid pupils. He usually wears a black skin-tight sleeveless combat overall covering a part of his neck and wide, grey pants with a black belt having a rectangular, silver buckle. He has a black wristband with white edges on his right arm. His horns are usually visible as tiny little white points on his forehead, but they can extend to be slightly bent and thin.

As a human, Agurith used to have dark green eyes, rather feminine facial features and a slim body, which is why, adding up to his usual hairstyle, he often got mistaken for a girl.

Personality:

As a human, Agurith used to be insecure, anxious and shy, especially towards new people. He wasn't very confident and rather quiet, having difficulties to speak cleanly to strangers, which is why he stuttered a lot and left speaking pauses in his sentences, as if not knowing how to exactly phrase his statements or questions. He tried to appear polite but quickly opened up to people that were open and friendly towards him. He had trouble speaking openly in front of crowds. Due to being harrassed and teased by classmates, he felt very uncomfortable in his own body, became increasingly quiet and closed up and cried a lot, leading to a severe depression. He then sought for solitude rather than company. He also seemed to have paranoid tendencies and panic pretty quickly.
As a demon, Agurith is way more confident and not insecure at all. He appears rowdy and rough, underlined by the fact he quickly threatens people to punch them in the face if someone invokes his anger or displeasure. He also doesn't hold back on language, often cussing in front of others. Moreover, he tends to openly insult people, and creatively at that. He sometimes is very rude and harsh with words and makes remarks where it isn't always clear whether he is joking or not. He's straight-forward and always says what's on his mind rather than wasting time on trying to sound nice. He's quick to yell at people. Despite his rather grumpy demeanor, Agurith can be very friendly towards others if he wants to. He follows orders without question and focuses on executing his tasks to the best of his abilities. He is reliable, consequent, strict and diligent in training. He holds resentment towards his magic power, which is why he rather focuses on hand-to-hand combat. Agurith is a good teacher and likes to show his skills openly so others can learn from him.

Past:

At the age of 12, Aguriths parents moved from Aroonshire to Starfell due to having found new work places. This also meant he had to enroll into a new school, which is why he went to Starfell Academy from there on. However, due to being rather shy and looking a bit feminine, he was harrassed and teased by most of his male classmates, called names, mocked and even physically assaulted. The only light for him was his then- best friend Hirato, who also happened to be his seating neighbor. Even though Hirato tried standing up for him, the teasing didn't stop. Agurith didn't have the courage to go report to a teacher or even tell Hirato about it, silently enduring everything day after day. One day then, one of his classmates spat into his face how miserable he was and that he should just go die. From that point forward, his mental stability took a downhill turn quite quickly, causing him to sink into a state of depression. He started to retreat more and tried to isolate himself so no one would hurt him. To numb the pain, he even used his father's razor blade to cut the skin of his torso, not his arms, so he would be able to hide his self-harm better. He wanted to stop feeling as miserable as that but started to become desperate and hopeless things would ever change, which in the end caused him to transform into a demon. Going to school the following day, he finally snapped over being harrassed by one guy of his class, telling him in the face he wished he'd just be hit by a tree and die. After school the same day, exactly that happened and his classmate, Satoru, died. Telling himself it was mere coincidence this transpired, he ran home. The school remained closed for the next couple of days until the tree was removed and the school grounds checked so more accidents of this nature would not occur. A friend of the guy who died then suspected that, somehow, Satoru's death was to blame on Agurith, so he followed him after school and assaulted him, which ended up in Agurith screaming at him to be hit by a car. This exact thing happened a moment later, leaving Agurith with no more doubt that he was indeed responsible for these accidents. Being shaken to the core by shock, he ran away as far away as he could. He was later found by Etana who realized he was a demon right away. She spent him some comfort and listened to what he had to say before she convinced him to come to Rauco with her. There, he met Lucifer, who he was afraid of at first but soon enough realized the kindness the devil really carried within, which caused him to tell him everything about his thoughts on the spot. Lucifer then encouraged him with some words of advice and his own perspectives on the issue, which helped Agurith to calm down and see everything from a different angle, which appealed to him. With Lucifer's help, he managed to get out of his depression and found his confidence, which also caused him to drastically change in character.

Relationships:

To Tir'an: Even tho it seems Agurith and Tir'an hate each others' guts, they actually are best friends. Tir'an likes to tease him a little or steal his stuff, willingly taking the risk of being cursed by him, but neither of them really mind each others' quirks. In fact, they were best friends since seventh grade and Tir'an regularly tried backing him up, worrying sick about Agurith when he disappeared. Agurith felt guilty about not having told Tir'an about his depression, so much even he broke down in tears in front of Lucifer, thinking he lied. Tir'an was the first person he thought of at any given time when training in Rauco, so much even he wanted to go see him once he felt ready to go back. In his battle against Akai, Agurith also showed to care about Tir'an as his enemy distorted sound so it would be as though he heard his friend scream somewhere, which first scared and then highly upset Agurith. When he met Shurax, someone using Telekinesis to remote control weapons, Agurith thought it was as if he would fight together with Tir'an. Even tho they both regularly try to kill each other, they basically are inseparable friends.

To Azra: Azra oftentimes takes on a role similar to a big brother taking care of Agurith and Tir'an. Agurith is often seen interacting and joking around with Azra. He hangs out at his place often to eat pizza or have a drink. They both commonly share their concern for Tir'an, which is why they often team up.

To Lucifer: Agurith admires Lucifer. His advice and kindness helped him a great deal to overcome his past problems. He would never deny him a favor. Thanks to Lucifer, he was able to get a different perspective on things that helped him expand his worldview. Lucifer promised him not to hurt him, which gave him a feeling of safety. He was able to trust him fully. Lucifers words inspired him and he's thankful to him for letting him stay.

Magic and Abilities:

Agurith excels in all three forms of combat, being skilled with weapons, use of magic and in hand to hand combat, but even so, he prefers the latter. He's among the physically strongest of the demons due to a demon's natural enhanced physical power and speed, being labelled the best in close combat among the Raucos. He knows various hand-to-hand combat skills and has all kinds of background information at his disposal, such as where to hit the target best or how to get out of chains and ties. Agurith usually uses just one of his nunchakus to fight and extends the blades in them to cut down his foes, similar to using daggers. The chains of his nunchakus are extendable, which gives him more freedom in wielding them.
Agurith's Curse Magic is a caster-type, very complex form of magic. As it is usual for caster-type magic, Curse Magic doesn't have a physical form. It enables the user to inflict different kinds of curses onto a target only by words or touch. The user needs to say out loud what he wants to happen or touch the target in order to place a curse on it without needing to say anything. It doesn't matter what the target is, it can be objects or living beings. It's also possible for the caster to curse themselves, which can be a competetive advantage depending on the situation. It must be noted that curses always limit or handycap the target in a bad way, however, the caster also has the ability of undoing his own curses by using a Reversing Spell. The curses are sectioned into different groups. There are six in total:

-Death Curses enable the user to afflict the target with a curse that causes them to lose their life and only works on living targets. They can include accidents or diseases as causes.

-Suffering Curses make the caster able to afflict the enemy with curses that make them feel terrible over a certain period of time. These also exclusively work on living targets and can, for example, make them endure enormous pain or a severe and unpleasant illness.

-Misfortune Curses enable the user to cast spells on their target that make bad things happen to them, be it instantly or after a certain amount of time has passed. They are fairly close to death curses, however, do not take the target's life. This kind of curse exclusively work on living things, with the special quality that they can be carried through objects or places. For example, such a curse could be placed onto a certain object and anyone touching this object will be affected by the curse. Possible outcomes can, for example, be to cause the target to fall into poverty, get injured or have no luck in relationships.

-Sealer Curses work on both, objects and living creatures. They usually block a certain ability these people or objects have and make them unable to execute them unless the curse is lifted. With a curse like that, the caster could seal a specific sense of perception, like the sense of hearing, or even someone's ability to show empathy or have emotional movement within them. Sealing curses can only be cast via body contact.

-Mental Effector Curses are curses that only Agurith explicitly can cast. They are solely based on making the target feel mentally ill, for example give them anxiety, depression or any other sort of mental issue, even a multible personality problem. These work on living targets only.

-Change Curses are the most simple kind of curses. The user simply forces a change upon a person or object with these, making them change color, look different, etc.

Weaknesses:

-The big disadvantage of this form of magic is that curses intended to affect living beings require full concentration on solely the target. That makes it exceptionally hard to cast one of these during a battle against more than one enemy. They will need a span of at least 8 seconds of complete concentration focused on one target to be cast. That makes it hard enough to target even only one enemy in a battle, since all kinds of things can lead to distraction and thus breaking of the required focus. This can be prevented by using touch as a method of execution, but getting close enough to an enemy in a battle is difficult enough as well.

-Death curses explicitly consume a huge amount of mana, which will quickly exhaust the user if he utilizes these repeatedly.

-Curses can be dispelled by any possible kind of curse-breaking spell. Once the target knows one, this magic is basically useless.

Quotes:

"Don't get all too excited when someone tells you they like you. Because, just like seasons, people change on so do thoughts and feelings." -to himself

"Now, I'm crying without tears..." -to himself

"Fuck the fucking fucker's fuck off!" -to Akai

"Your sense of direction is so bad you wouldn't even find yourself inside a mirror!" -to Azra

"Curses and taunts thrown at others are what gives rise to collective evils in a person." -to Lucifer

"Mercy is not getting a curse you deserve." -to Akai

"I didn't listen, but Tir'an's idea is stupid." -to Azra

"An immediate response is a shot without aim. People often fall from their unexpected ricochet." -to Akai

"There is a thing that can't be denied. Loneliness is a good feeling if it's created by ourselves, but it's the worst feeling if it is given to us by others." -to Lucifer

Trivia:

-"Agurith" is a modified version of "Agares", a demonic duke who rules the eastern regions of hell and commands 31 legions of demons.

-Agurith's favorite color is light blue, thus the conspicuous strands. He connects this color to the color of the sky by day, which he likes to look at.

-Agurith is scared of wasps because he was stung by them at very young age.

-Agurith has a slightly escalated faible for tuna meals.

-Every demon has received a flower to represent them. Agurith's is the Dandelion, which stands for overcoming hardships. In his case, it's the fact he managed to survive and beat his depression.
