Nagisa's POV

So that redhead's name is Karma. Wow, no wonder I got a bad vibe from him. He's the God of Mischief. I knew my instincts were right to tell me to stay away from him, unless I have to fight him in training. Then maybe I could get him to back off and realize that I'm someone you should not take lightly.

The thought of seeing his shocked expression when he gets his ass beat in combat will be priceless. A smirk plays across my lips thinking about it.

We enter the arena. It's a huge room with practice dummies with targets on them in one corner of the room. There's training equipment, weights, gloves, etc. in another corner, then the rest of the room is open space with one big circle on the center of it. Great training area.

Karma's POV

All of us look in the arena in amazement. I look over at Nagisa and his eyes are sparkling. I see him show a small smile on his lips. How cute.

Karasuma-sensei said that we need to battle against him either by ourselves or in pairs to show our combat skills. He's the God of Stealth, so I doubt any of us, even myself, could land a hit on him easily. The best thing would be to fight in pairs, but not when you're unfamiliar will everyone else's skills. We could cause more harm than good against Karasuma-sensei if we can't work together properly.

I'm sure Nagisa realizes that as well, along with some of the others, Chiba, Rinka, Itona, and Asano, since they kept to themselves and watched everyone fight with Karasuma-sensei first. They all have serious looks on their faces, analyzing everyone's movements.

You can tell that hardly anyone here has been in a real fight before without using their God powers. We're all in our human forms and it's just hand-to-hand combat. A few of them stuck out, looking as if they have some experience like Terasaka, who's like a human tank. He sparred against Karasuma by himself. He can't move quickly, but he can take some damage and keep going. He could turn out to be a really powerful God with some training. Just what you'd expect from the God of Brawls. Hopefully, I can fight him later. ~Smirk~

Hinata and Kanzaki fought against him in a pair. Hinata does flips as an offensive attack and a way to swiftly dodge attacks, while Kanzaki uses fast reflexes to attack Karasuma when he dodges or blocks Hinata's moves. They make a good team. They don't have a lot of physical strength, but they still could do some damage in a fight.

Last pair that stuck out so far was Maehara and Yuma. They take turns attacking Karasuma. They don't just swing their fists everywhere. They actually aim at his stomach, head, and sides when attacking. They move in almost perfect sync with each other. Almost as if they knew each other before.

No one still got a hit on Karasuma-sensei and he isn't even breaking a sweat. He's only been toying with us. Everyone except for Nagisa, Asano, Chiba, Rinka, Itona, and myself have gone.

Karasuma said "Next" so Rinka stepped forward. She got into a defensive stance in lunged at him with a nice left hook. Karasuma took her hand and shoulder then flipped her on the ground. She landed on her back and groaned. Karasuma backed off and waited for Rinka to get back up. Once she did, she gave a right kick aimed at his side. He easily dodged and pushed her backwards, making her fall since she still had a right leg in the air.

Next up was Chiba, then Itona. Chiba fights similar to Rinka. Their movements are too slow. Itona doesn't seem like a fighter whatsoever, but he can dodge fast. Hand-to-hand combat is not his specialty.

Now it's Asano's turn. He doesn't seem like someone with much combat experience either, but you can tell that he has great observation skills based on how much he can almost predict Karasuma's moves. He's just way too slow at dodging, delivering blows, or moving at all period. It's like knowing someone's trying to hit your head just to watch them slowly hit you. Not exactly like that, but you get the point.

I went up next. Time for me to show off my skills to everyone in this room. First things first, I let a small amount of my bloodlust out. Everyone felt it and went uneasy except for Karasuma, Irina, Koro, and Nagisa surprisingly. Karasuma's eyes did sharpen a little bit though. He knows that I am on a whole different level than everyone he just battled against.

I smirk and give an evil look. My hands twitching with excitement since I finally have a person to fight who's a challenge. I noticed that Nagisa still hasn't reacted to my bloodlust at all. It's almost as if he isn't phased by it one bit. How? Most of the Gods in this room are trembling in fear of me. Nevermind that.

I walk slowly towards Karasuma. Making me look more terrifying by the second. I see a sweat-drop on his forehead fall down the side of his face. He's nervous!!! That's the first time he sweat this whole time!

Once I'm two feet away, I raise my right hand and throw a punch towards his chest. Before he blocks it, I drop my hand as I swing my left foot towards his side. I used my hand as a fake attack so he couldn't predict my next move.

Before I could hit him, he turned on his foot in the last second and dodged my attack. He's not even shocked by what I did when he dodged. Karasuma then grabbed my leg after he dodged and flipped me over. I turned my body in the air so I could land on my feet then lunged at him with a right uppercut. He backed away with little effort.

We went back and forth for a while before he pushed me away when I attacked with a right roundhouse. He said, "Next" then Nagisa came forward as I walked out of the circle. Some of the Gods looked at me then at Nagisa and started whispering.

"Woah. Even Karma couldn't get a hit in and he's a good fighter"

"I don't think Nagisa could top that. He's so tiny"

"Don't forget he is the God of Deception"

"True but think about how experienced Karasuma-sensei is"

They all stopped talking once Karasuma told Nagisa to begin. Nothing happened for a few seconds. Nagisa just looked at Karasuma with a huge smile on his face, eyes closed. Just like a little kid when they believe Santa Clause gave them a present on Christmas or told them that they weren't on his naughty list.

Then all of a sudden, Nagisa lunged forward at Karasuma at an insane speed. Karasuma put his hands up to block whatever attack it seemed that Nagisa was going to give him at his front. Instead, Nagisa side-stepped and threw a swift left side-kick at Karasuma's side. It almost looked like Nagisa had him!! But Karasuma turned on his left foot and dodged. Then tried grabbing Nagisa's leg in the air, but Nagisa turned on his standing leg and made his side-kick turn into a hook kick. Everyone gasped because.......
He almost hit Karasuma! Even Karasuma-sensei looks a little startled from Nagisa's attacks, but he is now placing himself in defensive positions now. Before he had his hands at his sides with everyone, even me.

He managed to grab Nagisa's foot this time and flip him to the ground. Nagisa landed on his feet like I did, but he grabbed Karasuma and flipped him to the ground! Karasuma landed on his feet and threw Nagisa some feet away from him. This fight is even better than mine against Karasuma! I couldn't even do some of the moves that he's doing!

They went back and forth for the longest before Karasuma raised his hand up to signal the end of the match. Neither him nor Nagisa are sweating. Both have serious expressions on their faces.

Now I'm really looking forward to fighting Nagisa. ~Smirk~ He deserves the name, God of Deception. Everyone started whispering to each other.

"Damn I didn't expect that to happen! Nagisa is just as much of a badass than Karma is!"

"Karma seems more terrifying though because of his bloodlust"

"I wonder how much bloodlust Nagisa has. He didn't even display any when fighting Karasuma-sensei"

Everyone went silent when Karasuma clapped his hands twice to get our attention. He said, "Alright. All of you need to work more on hand-to-hand combat and improving your physical strength. The stronger your human forms are, the stronger your true God forms become, and the less amount of energy it takes to be in your God forms. Do you understand?"

We nodded our heads. And he continued, "There are still many ways to fight. Hand-to-hand combat is important but it's not the only way of fighting you will be trained in. Follow me to the next room for your next exercise."
