Geno POV

I can't believe this was happening. We were on the run from demon hunters. My parents and siblings were on my scaly back as I ran, panting for breath. We have been running for days on end, about roughly halfway around the world thanks to my long strides. My older bro, Selever gripped my horns as I slowed to a stop. They dismounted and I collapsed. "Where are we?" My older sister, Rasazy asked. "I think...we're in Japan..." I said breathlessly. We hid in an alleyway to avoid being seen. Mum and Dad both left us alone for a while to look for a job and scrounge for any food they could find. Selever and Rasazy huddled together while I covered them with my wings. We waited for our parents silently. My scales got a little itchy from being away from water for so long but I ignored it and focused on protecting my older siblings.
