Sonic lets out a yawn, as he opened his eyes, he never had a good sleep like that in a long time, Hell he didn't even remember when the last like he had a good sleep. He gets out of the bed and onto the floor with a thud, he looks over at the bed to see a ghostly hand it's claws digging into his ankles the shackles were ready rubbing against his skin on both his ankles and wrists leaving a nasty scar like rash on his skin, Sonic only manages to let out a scream before he was pulled into the darkness that was underneath the bed.

"M-Master please..." Sonic pleaded, Infinite only growls at the hedgehog, he tried attacking the thirteen year old but the rosary ended up burning his hand. Sonic heard the demon yelp and he took this chance to get away he crawls out from underneath the bed, "Ahh!!" Sonic screams feeling Infinite's claws dig into his back.

"Where the fuck do you think your going!?" Infinite growls. The hedgehog was suddenly pulled back into the darkness, the rosary was thrown to the side.

Infinite's attack had gotten worst, for Sonic, hell even the church, to the point that they had to shut down the church to keep everyone safe, even the kids.

"Father..." Rouge said, as she was treating Sonic's wounds, the hedgehog had become more and more unresponsive, and with the nuns, because of the attacks the hedgehog just had gotten to be more vulnerable to the Demon Possessions, cause of his mind being so weak, as well as his mental and physical health.

Shadow looked over his notes, now that he knew who he was dealing with he can finally perform the exorcism to get rid of this demon...he only hoped he wasn't to late. "Get him to the room...I'm ready" the twenty-five year old stated.

Rouge nodded.

"Let go of me!" Sonic cried out, as he tried to pull away from the nuns, that were dragging him. The light of the room was from the sun shining through the stain glass windows. Sonic was chained down to the wall.

Shadow took a deep breath, as he opened the book to his notes, all demons had a specific exorcism that needed to be done, and Infinite was no different.

Sonic was sobbing cause he was scared on what was going on, that he didn't appreciate being chained, during the exorcisms, it wasn't long before the Shadow stood in front of him, making his ears pinned to his head, the strong smell of burning sage filled air, which was burning his nostrils making his nose bleed, he pulls on the chains to try and free himself only to yelp cause of his legs, having to have been damaged when Infinite was torturing him.

Shadow noticed the drops of blood that was coming from Sonic's nose. He clears his throat and started to re-site the verses of the ancient texts of the notes that he took.

"AHH!!" Sonic screamed as the mark on his back started to burn his skin. Infinite only hisses out of anger, and pain, has the devil like horns started to form out of his head as well as the bat like wings. "S-Stop...S-Stop...It h-hurts..." the young hedgehog pleaded, one of the nuns had stop Rouge from helping the hedgehog. A glowing red gems slowly started to show itself on Sonic's chest. As the his voice soon started to get demonic. The sclera in his eyes shift to a deep magenta color with glowing yellow eyes.

"Gotcha..."

"Well you finally figured it out" Infinite spoke, "But you still don't have a clue how to get rid of me do you?"

"Figuring out your name isn't going be hard..."

Infinite laughs "Your pathetic Father...it no wonder your own father disowned you"

Shadow growled, he collects himself he can't let Infinite get to him...all that matters now is to free Sonic from his torment. "Don't being Doom into this Demon..."

"And yet you chose to help someone like this..." Infinite spoke, Shadow had the nuns lite another sage which cause the hedgehog to cough and sneeze up blood. "Enough talk Demon...I have my reasons!"

The hedgehog flinches as Shadow started to re-site the next verses of the text, blood started to dripped out of his mouth, a crack forming on the gem. "Tell me Shadow..." he lets out a small huff coughing out some blood, "Why did you become a priest...Hmm, is it because of her?"

"TSK!!" Infinite hisses when the holy water was splashed onto him burning his skin, and cracking the gem further. "I'll be the one to asked the question here...Now tell me what is your name?"

Some blood started dripping from the his chest, onto the floor, "I thought it was obvious..."

Shadow shakes his head, and started to re-site the line of text, Infinite lets out an demonic howl of pain as the gem cracks farther causing the hedgehog to cough and up more blood.

"Your real name!" Shadow growled.

Infinite only laughs, as he coughs up blood staining Sonic's muzzle, before he stares deep into Shadow's eyes.

Shadow flinches when he saw a human girl with long blonde hair, wearing a light blue nightgown, tears started to form in the corner of his eyes.

"Shadow...why..." the girl spoke, as she lifted her head to him, he failed her just like he did with Sonic the first time he saw him.

"M-Maria I"

"Why did you let him take me!!" Maria shouted.

"Shadow!" Another voice called out.

All around him was other victims of his Father's deeds people that he failed to saved from Black Doom's clutches. All of them were crying out to him.

"I'm sorry...I couldn't save you, and that I could never be forgiven...but I'm not going to make the same mistake again" Shadow steps up closer to Maria, he now understood Infinite's true name.

"And I'm sorry for not stopping him sooner Maria...but I have someone else that needs me more" Shadow places the crucifix on Maria forehead.

He re-sites the last line on the ancient text, "And by the Holy Spirit...I here by Banish, Zero Infinite Jackal from this realm!"

The illusion shattered, when Infinite lets out a demonic screech as the gem in Sonic's chest shattered into pieces freeing the hedgehog's soul and causing Infinite to vanish from the mortal realm.

The illusion disappeared entirely and a massive wound was on Sonic's chest as well as the wounds that were visible to only the church can finally be seen outside by the public.

"Shadow!" Rouge called out, as she rushed over to the priest, "Thank Chaos your okay...I thought I lost you t-Oh my Stars...Sonic!"

Amy had went over to the body to see if there was a pulse, blood was dripping out of Sonic's mouth. She pinned her ears down she didn't feel a pulse, why would they.

Sonic was covered in deep wounds, bite marks, bruises, burn marks, cuts, internal scars.

"W-We were to late..." Rouge whimpers as she had some tears in her eyes.

Shadow wraps his arms around Rouge, "H-He didn't deserve this..." she said before she growled "When I see t-those two...I'm...I'm"

Sonic started coughing up blood, and wheezing something...or Someone gave him a second chance of live.

"Sonic!!" Rouge called out as she rushed over to the young hedgehog.

Maria smiles to herself as she was watching Shadow from the window of the church, "I forgive you Shadow...at least let me do something nice for you" the angel spread her wings and fly off back to the heavens.
