Sonic was holding the stuffed bear, in his arms...his body was still sore from the punishment he was just with Shadow, he was wearing a clean pair of pants and his straight jacket, the blue hedgehog whimpers when his the rubbing alcohol was applied to his wounds, his skin was burning from the medicine.

"Your doing good...Sonic" Shadow tells the blue hedgehog, as he finishes up by wrapping his chest and arms up in bandages, and zipping up the straight jacket.

"C-Candy?" Sonic stutters holding out his covered hand, the thirteen year old was still treated a like a child, and a pet...mostly because of how he grew up before he came to church, Infinite and his parents would abuse him if he did something bad, but Infinite would give him soft and gentle touches, and kisses, if he was good. Shadow didn't really praise Sonic much unlike the other Nuns that were assigned to watch over him, but he did give Sonic candy, if he was good...if he misbehaved the hedgehog was scolded, he was never beaten, unless the demon cause him to get violent.

"Are you sure you can stomach it?" Shadow asked Sonic, who only blinked he didn't understand what Shadow meant...as off lately the hedgehog's mental health has been decreasing, and besides him showing signs of being sick, he is completely healthy, the antibiotics were working nicely with infection, the creams were helping with healing his wounds, only leaving permanent scarring. As well as his internal injuries had been healing. The Priest only lets out a sigh "Only One piece" he said as he sets down the jar of different candies.

Sonic nodded and he grabs the taffy candy, all the candy in the jar was the type of candy that he likes, from chocolate, to peanut butter cups, hard candy, and taffy.

There was a knock on the door, "Father, My I-Oh" Sister Vanilla was holding hands with a yellow fox, with two tails instead of one, the fox is wearing a light blue t-shirt with messy jean overalls, his eyes were puffy from crying earlier, he had some bruises on his arms and face.

"I'm sorry Father, I didn't know that you had..." Vanilla started as she was talking about Sonic, but didn't want to mention his name.

"It's okay...What is it Sister Vanilla" Shadow asked.

Sonic didn't want to disobey Father Shadow or Vanilla, but he was curious about the small fox boy, he looked hurt and upset, he didn't have to motion the fox over to him, cause they took a seat in a chair next to Sonic. "H-Hi?" Sonic responded.

The fox flinches but seeing that Sonic wasn't going hurt him he swallows the lump in his throat "H-Hello..."

"What's your name? Mine is Sonic"

The fox looks at his tails before back at Sonic, he hadn't seen this hedgehog before, but seeing that they was the only person before Mrs. Vanilla and the other nuns who would talk to him. "I-It's M-Miles, Miles P-Prower"

Sonic still had the candy in his hand, he hadn't opened it yet, but seeing that Miles was upset he offers it to him, he could always get another piece if he was on his best behavior. "Candy?"

Miles looks at the taffy, "Thank you..." he smiled as he took the taffy, for once he kind of felt safe around someone that wasn't Vanilla, or the other Church Staff. But he never seen Sonic before at the daycare or in the school section of the church, when Vanilla was telling Shadow about the other kids that were bullying Miles, everyday today they took it far by starting a fight with the fox. The two adults glanced outside to the hallway to see Sonic was actually making a friend with Miles, Vanilla hadn't seen the fox smile in a long time.

Sonic was kind of sad that he had to say good bye to his new friend but he understood that the Fox had go back to the daycare.

"You seem to have fun with Miles?" Shadow asked.

Sonic nodded "He knew big words...but I like him" he said, it was clear that Sonic lacked a lot of education, as well as communication skills, mostly because of him living in isolation, and only talking to Infinite, the Nuns, and Shadow. "I see, well come on, it's time to get back"

Sonic nodded holding his stuffed bear and getting off of the bench following after Shadow. He did stumble cause of the damage done to his legs but he catches up.
