⟦Hanzaki Daimyojin⟧

A massive pitch black figure is seen, slowly rising from the murky depths, shining Orange eyes like that of the harvest moon in the night sky. The light of the moon illuminates the outline of the creature as it towered over everything.

⟦A massive Giant Japanese Salamander... One that Sleeps in a pool... only ascending from the depths when it hungers... And When it Hungers... It consumes all... Devouring the body whole, as it digests the very soul... Even if one were to cut down and slay such a beast... Its power of regeneration even puts an Upper moon to shame... as even in death... It continues to consume...⟧

The massive figure slammed onto the ground, glaring into your very soul... suddenly with a mass of speed, it began rushing forwards with its stumpy legs, dashing with unnatural speed as it opened its mouth wide open, revealing the depths of hell inside.

But then suddenly... as the orange eyes charged towards you... you look up, only to see towering over the silhouette... another pair of Deep demonic purple eyes glaring down at the deathly beast, its massive hands held above its head in a clawing form... before those hands quickly came crashing down.

*SLAM!!!!*

Y/n: "AGH! GET BACK HERE YOU SLIMY PIECE OF SH-"

Salamander: "WWWWWAAAAAAWWWWW!!!!"

*Plop-Plop-Plop-Plop-Plop-Plop-Plop-Plop!*

The darkness quickly falls away as Y/n is seen slamming his hands onto the ground, an angered look on his face as a Giant Japanese Salamander is seen running away from him, letting out an odd little cry as it dashed away with a mass of unnatural speed that a Giant Salamander should not have. Y/n quickly got back on his feet and took a deep breath, using total concentration breathing, he zoned in on the salamander like a cat and-

*FWOOOO-*

*SLIP!*

*THUD!!!*

Y/n: "AGH!!!!"

Salamander: "WWWWAAAAAAWWWW!!!"

As Y/n dashed forwards with his immense mass of newfound speed, he almost caught the salamander... only to slip on a patch of mud on the ground, crashing down onto his back as the Salamander continued to scream and run away. Y/n quickly got on all fours, growling as he glared at the Salamander as it ran towards a nearby river.

Salamander: "WWWWAAAAWWW-"

Y/n: "HHHYYYAAAHHH-"

*SSSSPPPPLLLLAAAASSSSSHHHH!!!!!*

Suddenly the Salamander and Y/n jumped forwards, flying towards and into the River... Meanwhile, Shinobu was seen sitting on the ground watching this odd scene play out infront of her...

*SPLASH!!*

Salamander: "WWWWEEEEEEHHHHH!!!"

Y/n: "HAHA! GOTCHA MOTHER FU-"

*SLAP-SLAP-SLAP!!!*

Y/n: "AGH! TAIL! SLIMY SALAMANDER TAIL!"

*HHHUUUCCCKKK!*

Y/n: "OH DON'T YOU DARE YOU SLIMY SON OF A MOTHER FU-"

*SPLAT!!*

Y/n: "AAAGGGHH!!! WHY THE HELL DOES IT BURN!?!?!"

Salamander: "WWWAAAWWW!!!"

*SPLASH!!!*

As Y/n appeared form the River once again, he was revealed holding the Giant Salamander in her arms, only for the Hanzaki to slap him in the face multiple times with its tail, before squirming around and spitting a mass of odd goop in Y/n's face, causing the only to let go of the Salamander as it jumped into the river and swam away while Y/n was left holding his face in a mass of pain. All the while, Shinobu was seen sitting there, laughing to herself quietly at the scene, as the Salamander was seen rapidly swimming away from the scene. Y/n whipped the goop from his face as he glared and pointed at the Salamander as it swam away from the scene, his right eye red and irritated, while his left eye was left close.

Y/n: "THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA KILL YOUR GOD EXTRA HARD YOU SLIMY ALMOST FISH ALMOST LIZARD PIECE OF TRASH!"

Salamander in distance: "WEH!"

Y/n: "CURSE YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE BLOODLINE!!!!!"

Shinobu: "You're cursing the Bloodline of a Salamander?"

Y/n: "RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Y/n yelled in a mass of anger as he erupted with purple flames surrounding him.

[This is basically Y/n's theme at this point.]

Going down a normal Dirt Road, Y/n and Shinobu were seen making their way down, Y/n with his hands behind his head and his signature bored expression on his face as he marched, while Shinobu had her own signature smile on her own face as she followed behind the Ongeki Oni of drums.

Y/n: "Alright, with my Bachi Restored, my speed training complete, and my Ongekigen techniques... more or less refined. It's finally time!"

Y/n said, his executed tone being betrayed by this bored expression as he slammed his fist into his open palm.

Y/n: "Time to fight a God."

Shinobu: "Yeah, that doesn't really explain why you were chasing those Salamanders earlier."

Shinobu said, appearing next to Y/n as he glared at the Hashira with one of his eyes closed. Y/n then growled a bit, as memories of Y/n running around chasing after Giant Salamanders, only to slip, fall onto his face and into the mud/water as he immensely struggled to catch the Salamanders.

Y/n: "Hmph! That was a part of my Training! Speed doesn't mean anything if I don't know how to use it against a specific enemy."

Y/n said, crossing his arms with his eyes closed, a somewhat angered expression on his face while Shinobu chuckled once again. The two of them continued on their way down the road, despite not talking much, the aura around the two was much different than before, as Y/n didn't seem immensely annoyed by Shinobu's existence, while Shinobu didn't seem as... emotionless as before. The two actually seemingly tolerating each other's existence as they traveled.

Shinobu: "Where exactly are we heading this time? First that forest where you remade your Drum Sticks, Then that Field to train your speed with the Kotobuki, and now?"

Y/n: "A small place called Yubara, in the Okayama Prefecture."

Y/n said, his arms still crossed and eyes closed as he walked, while Shinobu grew a confused expression as she turned towards the Oni.

Shinobu: "Yubara? I... Don't think I've heard of such a place before..."

Y/n: "Ah... Probably doesn't exist yet..."

Y/n said to himself, confusing Sinobu even more.

Y/n: "Yubara is a small Hot Spring town that will exist in the future. Around 1952 I think. That's atleast when the Dam gets built. It's also one of the only places that celebrates the Existence of Hanzaki Daimyojin. That's most likely where the Salamander God makes its home... meaning..."

Y/n explained, before he smiled murderously once again, before he punched his fist into his palm.

Y/n: "I'M GONNA MURDER HIS ASS IN HIS OWN HOUSE!"

A bead of sweat was seen going down Shinobu's face at this, being glad that the Ongkei Oni of Drums wasn't her enemy at the moment.

Y/n: "Anyway."

Y/n's bored expression returned just as quickly as it left.

Y/n: "Once Daimyojin's Dead... I've only got one more thing to do, and all my Rehabilitation Training will be done."

Y/n explained as he placed his arms behind his head... all the while, Shinobu watched the oni closely, her smile disappearing as she grew a serious expression.

Shinobu thoughts: "The more I observe him... the more terrifying the Idea of Oni really becomes... in just 2 Days he mastered using Total Concentration Breathing to enhance his General Body and movements... and 3 more... he mastered the basics of Flower Breathing and managed to Combine it with Water Breathing and Wind Breathing, making entirely new Supernatural Breathing Styles... and the fact that he was able to replicate Wind Breathing without even needing to Witness it first hand..."

Shinobu thought to herself as she stared at Y/n with intensity... her eyes focusing as a Dark Purple burning aura appeared around the man, but that wasn't all, as small Green Sparks of Electricity appeared with those same flames.

Shinobu thoughts: "He was able to kill another Oni and take his instrument... That alone is terrifying... It would take all of the Hashira to stand a chance against even one... but... to think he would train to such an extreme level of strength and power just to face off against the others... The very idea he might be weaker than the Other Oni.... This entire situation... the Ongeki Oni... Compared to Demons... They're bone chilling..."

Shinobu thought to herself, the Evil Aura around Y/n disappearing as the two continued walking, the Hashira continuing to watch the Oni intently as the two continued making their way through the countryside.

As the sun rose on a brand new day... Y/n and Shinobu were seen still walking side by side... until suddenly, the two stopped, causing Y/n to smile at what he saw.

Sitting infront of the Oni and the Hashira was a medium-sized village that was more or less bustling with life. Despite being more primitive than most at this age, it was still doing quite well! With people traveling into the Village and others selling and buying goods, children playing, adults farming, and more! As we enter the Village, Y/n doesn't smile at how the town looks or feels... but at a certain decoration sitting on almost every building...

Small Stone Statues, Wood Carvings, and all sorts of Decorations all resembling the same figure... 
A Salamander.

Y/n: "Heh..."

Y/n chuckled with a smirk, a determined and somewhat excited expression appearing on his face, his left arm resting on his Chokuto, gripping the back of one of the handles tightly, while his other fist clenched, small sparks of green electricity radiating from it. Shinobu saw this, and somewhat expected the reaction from the Oni... but it wasn't simply because of the decorations around this village... as Y/n heard something radiating deep in this village that Shinobu missed.

As Y/n stands there... he closed his eyes, causing everything around him to go dark as everything fades into blackness... the symphony of life around him playing loudly... but slowly... bit by bit... the sounds of the other songs faded and died out... leaving nothing around Yn as everything went silent... until...

"..... Wwweeeeehhhh.... Wwwweeeeewwww... Wwwwwaaaaaahhhhhh...."

In the far distance... The sound of an... odd baby was heard crying... the voice echoed for miles and squeaked oddly... but as Y/n listened to this odd song as it got more and more defined... he smiled as he saw what stood before him.

"Wwwwwwaaaaaawwww.... Wwwwweeeeeewwww...... wwwwweeeehhhhh....."

Before the Ongeki Oni of Drums, standing in this pitch black void, two brilliant yellow eyes were seen... as a massive silhouette stood before him... the sounds of a crying baby radiating from the beast... a God in the form of a Massive Giant Salamander...

Y/n: "Hanzaki Daimyojin."

"..... Wwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww??????..."

The Salamander sounded as the Silhouette glared down at Y/n, causing the Oni of Drums to smile. The two glared at eachother for a moment... as the odd baby crying continued radiating from the Massive figure, as it slowly faded away, as Y/n was seen standing back in the real world once again, opening his eyes as his murderous smile returned.

⟪⌈Thirteenth Day Of Training⌋⟫

Sitting in a small restaurant-like building, Y/n and Shinobu were seen sitting at a table together, The Ongeki Oni holding an annoyed look on his face as he sat at the table. While Shinobu was seen happily enjoying a normal meal... Y/n was...

*CRUNCH!!!*

Leaning Back, a large white radish in his hand as he took large bites out of it.

Y/n: "Tch! Can you eat any slower?"

Shinobu: "I can actually. Would you like me to?"

Y/n groaned at this as he took another bite out of his vegetable.

Y/n: "Why am I here again?"

Shinobu: "We've been traveling for Thirteen Days, and I haven't gotten any proper food since I left the butterfly manor."

Y/n: "Ok, cool. But why am I here with you!? I could have killed Hanzaki Daimyojin 3 times by now!"

Shinobu: "I need to keep an eye on you. Plus, I thought it would be nice of me to give you a chance to get some food for yourself aswell."

Y/n: "Yeah, I got food! And unlike you, I can eat it while I'm killing a God!"

Shinobu: "A singular Daikon isn't proper food."

Y/n: "I DON'T EVEN NEED TO EAT! I've gone a whole Year without food before Just Training! My regeneration handles that crap!... Somehow... Don't ask me how that works, I'm an Oni, not a scientist."

Y/n said, taking another bite out of his Radish, causing Shinobu to sigh as she continued eating her food. Onlookers watched the two argue, giggling to themselves a bit, as comments could be heard about "Young Love" and how the two were a "Cute Couple", Much to Shinobu's annoyance as a visible 💢 appeared on her forehead. Turning her attention back to Y/n, the Ongeki Oni of Drums and Guitar was seen muttering to himself in annoyance as he held his head in his hand with his elbow sitting on the table... thinking to herself about something... only for those thought to immediately get through away as she noticed something about the previous scene...

Shinobu: "Mr. Hibiki."

Y/n: "Ha?"

Shinobu: "Earlier... you said very loudly that you were an oni... yet... nobody in this restaurant reacted strangely..."

Shinobu announced in a very low hard to hear tone, as she tried to keep a low profile, scanning around the room with her eyes at the fellow patrons of the small restaurant.... Until...

Y/n: "Yeah, this is a Yokai town."

Y/n said immensely causally keeping his bored expression as he took another bite out of his Radish. All the while, Shinobu was silent as her eyes blinked rapidly.

Shinobu: "...... E-Excuse me?"

Y/n, still not phased or moving much at all, began pointing around the room.

Y/n: "The Owner of this place is a Tanuki, Those two with the Darker Skin are Kawa Otoko, The guy in the mask over there is either a Mujina or a Nopperabo, That pretty lady holding the potted Tsubaki tree isn't even real, she's an illusion made by that potted Tree who is a Furutsubaki No Rei, that jug of Sake over in the corner is just a whole Kameosa, there is are like 4 Bakeneko outside, aaaannnnddd! Everyone else in this restaurant is human... except that Traveling Monk, He's 100% a Shukaku, right?"

Y/n said, causing Shinobu to turn around, seeing the clearly human looking Monk sitting at a nearby table, only to be shocked when he smiled and gave a small bow, causing some of the patrons of the restaurant to let out laughs while others were amazed, before giving Hibiki a small round of applause for being able to see through all their disguises so easily... meanwhile, Shinobu was in a bit of shock... Looking around at all the different people in the shop Y/n had pointed out, The owner lifted a leaf off of his head, turning into a raccoon dog for a moment before transforming back into his human form, the Dark Skinned couple lifted their hats, revealing their almost pitch black skin, hairy faces and long ears, the masked man lifted his mask a tiny bit, revealing that he had no face, just a mass of smooth skin where eyes, a mouth and a nose should be. The pretty woman holding the potted Tsubaki Tree waved, only for her arm to become ghostly and translucent as one of the branches of the Tsubaki waved at her instead. The Large Jug of Sake then walked up to Y/n and Shinobu, revealing its scary face, making Shinobu jump a bit, before the living jar offered them small cups... Shinobu politely denied while Y/n accepted, dipping the cut into the top of the jar and getting a full cup of Sake he drank a bit of as the Kameosa walked away. Shinobu was in a mass of shock at this entire scene as she just stared at Y/n with wide eyes.

Shinobu: "Wha-Bu- Huh? How?"

Y/n: "There are a LOT of towns with High Yokai populations. We're just really good at blending in when we wanna. Hell, an Ongeki Oni could be a Hashira and none of you guys would know it."

Y/n said, chuckling a bit to himself...

⟪Meanwhile⟫

Haru: "HACHOO!!! *sniff*"

⟪Back at the plot⟫

Y/n: "This place is more liberal than most though, don't really care if people know they're Yokai or not, just hiding the magic bits for Politeness sake."

Y/n explained, continuing to eat his Radish and Drink his Sake without a care in the world... Meanwhile, Shinobu was still extremely shocked by this entire town...

Shinobu: "This... is all very strange to me."

Y/n: "Look on the bright side! Here, boring old humies like you are the weirdos. Hahahahahah!"

Y/n laughed, causing Shinobu to stare for a moment... Still not really knowing how to react to this entire thing... only to close her eyes and take a deep breath, before she let out a heavy breath, her normal dead eyed smile appearing on her face once again.

Shinobu: "This will be quite the experience."

The Hashira said before she went back to eating her food, catching Y/n's attention for a moment before he shrugged and took another bite out of his radish.

⟪Timeskip⟫

Shinobu: ".... I must say... I am a bit confused..."

After leaving the Restaurant full of Yokai, Y/n and Shinobu began making their way through town, only to come to a stop when they came face to face with an average sized house, that seemed to be on the outskirts of town, no salamander markings on the building whatsoever... but, there were a mass of banners on the walls of the building, all of which held the same marking as Hibiki's Ongekiko Drum.

Y/n: "What makes you say that?"

Shinobu: "I assumed that after getting here... you would immediately run off to wherever Hanzaki Daimyojin was and fight to the death... not.. Come to whatever this place is."

Shinobu said, a look of confusion on her face, causing Y/n to look at her with confusion.

Y/n: "What idiot just attacks their target as soon as they get to their location? If I did that I'd Die. And I refuse to die until I get my Almighty Wish."

Y/n said before he began walking up to the door of the building, while Shinobu was still very confused as to why exactly the two of them were standing infront of this house in particular... until...

*Knock-Knock-Knock...*

"Sorry! But We aren't allowing any visitors at the moment! Although! If you would like to profess your undying loyalty to The Grandest Oni and Soon To Be only God, Lord Hibiki, then I would Gladly-"

A female voice was heard from behind the house's doors, causing Y/n to roll his eyes a bit, before he finally spoke up.

Y/n: "It's Me, Open Up already."

".............................. *GGGGGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!*"

Suddenly the sound of rapid footsteps were heard from inside the building, when suddenly the door to the house was thrown wide open, revealing before a pink figure flew forwards slamming directly into Hibiki's chest.

"LORD HIBIKI!!!! YOU'RE HERE!!!!!!"

The figure yelled immensely happily as they hugged the Ongeki Oni tightly. Shinobu's eyes widened a bit, as she could have sworn that for a moment she saw a mass of Fox tails coming out of the figure's back. The woman then looked up at Y/n, stars in her eyes as sparkles surrounded her.

"HAHAHAAAAAAAHHHH!!! I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE FINALLY HERE LORD HIBIKI! I DID EVERYTHING YOU SAID! JUST LIKE YOU TOLD ME TO! I'M SO UNEXPLAINABLY PROUD THAT YOU LET ME HELP YOU GREAT ADVENT TO THE HEAVENS GRAND ONI AND SOON TO BE ONL-"

*Bonk!*

"Owie!"

The pink figure gushed happily, kicking her legs in the air behind her as she hugged Y/n, her face pressed right up against the Ongeki Oni's chest... but as she continued gushing loudly, suddenly a Hibiki balled up his fist and slammed it ontop of the figure's pink haired head, causing her to go limp as a large bump appeared on the pink haired girl's head.

Y/n: "Geez! I told you to quit it with all the Praising. It's seriously annoying."

"But Lord Hibik-"

Y/n: "And quit it with the Lord Crap too."

Y/n said in annoyance, before the girl looked up at him with a mass of awe once again.

"Master!"

*BLAM!!!*

"GAHAH!!!"

💢Y/n: "If that's the only option then just stick to Lord!"

"Understood... Lord Hibiki..."

As soon as the woman said Master, she was punched in the head, sending her crashing onto the ground face first, as a 💢 appeared on the Oni's forehead. The Pink haired figure was then slowly seen raising to her feet... only for her eyes to suddenly widen as she noticed Shinobu standing in the background watching the scene... The woman then glared at the insect Hashira, a dark aura quickly appearing around the pink haired woman.

"Lord Hibiki... who is this human woman?"

*Chop!*

"Owie!"

Y/n: "Don't glare like that. It's weird. Anyway, This is Konchou, A Demon Slayer. She's stalking me."

Y/n chopped the woman on the head once again, stopping her from glaring, as the Oni held a bored expression, simply pointing back at the Insect Hashira with his thumb.

Shinobu: "My name is Shinobu Kocho. I assume you're a companion of Mr. Hibiki."

The woman let out a huff of breath at Shinobu's words, before she suddenly smirked down at the insect hashira with a look of superiority.

"Hmph, My name is Sena Ranasaki. And I...Am Lord Hibiki's Future Bride!"

[Sena Ranasaki]
[I promised a Kitsune in Episode 2, and I have now delivered.]

Hearing this caused Shinobu's eyes to widen a bit, as Sena smiled down at her with a mass of immense smugness.

"Hibiki Kibojutsu
No Bachi Style...
Second Verse!"

*BBBBBLLLLLAAAAAMMMMM!!!!*

"FULL ONI DISCIPLINE!!!!"

Sena: "GAAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHHH!!!!"

In a familiar scene, Sena was punched in the head by Y/n, sending her face first into the ground as a large bump quickly appeared on her head, with the Ongeki Oni letting out a large annoyed huff.

Y/n: "Are you still on that Crap? Cut it out. I'm not getting married to anyone in this life. All that matters is my Almighty Wish."

Sena: "B-But you'll want someone to accompany you during eternity while you're working as this world's God! And I'm more than happy to be one of you many lovers!"

*CCCRRRAAACCCKKK!!!*

Y/n: "You want another punch to the head?"

Sena: "N-NO MY LORD!"

Y/n threatened, glaring at Sena with a dark aura around himself, causing the pink haired girl to quickly panic, holding her head as she backed away from the ongeki oni a bit. The two continued to walk, as Shinobu watched them intently, her face holding the same expression as always, but there was a confused aura around the hashira.

We watch from outside the house, as time passes quickly, the sun setting as the moon rises into the sky. Inside of the building Sena had made her home, Shinobu was seen in more comfortable sleeping clothes, provided by Sena, a mass of Markings belonging to Hibiki covering the clothes, as the woman was seen walking through the odd house, quickly coming to the realization that despite looking small, this building was much larger on the inside. As the Hashira made her way through the odd building, she was seen with a pensive look on her face, a mass of thoughts going through her head as she held her chin as she walked.

As the Insect Hashira continued through the odd almost magical house, a thin strip of moonlight passed by her face as she marched past... Only to stop for a moment and go back towards the sliver of moonlight, only to see it coming from an almost closed doorway. The sliding door was almost completely closed, only a tiny bit of it open. Shinobu peaked through the small doorway crack, only to see Y/n in the same Comfortable clothes as her, sitting outside staring into the distance... staring at the stars in the sky...

*don... don... don... don...*

As the Oni sat there, he slowly tapped one of his Bachi on the ground next to him in a small rhythm, humming a small tune to himself. Shinobu watched the oni... The Beat of the Bachi was oddly hypnotic as small sparks of green electricity appeared with each "don"... a memory appearing in Shinobu's mind...

⟪Flash⟫

Shinobu: "A few months?"

Inside of the building, during the day, right after meeting Sena for the first time, Shinobu and Sena were seen sitting at a table with Tea infront of them, while Y/n was seen lying down lazily on his side, his head rested on his hand as he held it in the air, his eyes closed as he laid there. All the while, the pink haired woman nodded to Shinobu's question.

Sena: "Correct... A few months ago, Lord Hibiki gave me a mission, to locate the land where the Salamander "God" is located, and to gather as much information on Hanzaki Daimyojin as possible, for the inevitable Fight that was going to occur between the Overgrown Salamander and my Lord Hibiki. I found this place and settled down here to gather info. I even sent the location of this place to my lord."

Shinobu: "Ah... So that's how you knew exactly where this place was located... I'm surprised."

Y/n: "Heh, you must think I'm really dumb if you didn't think I'd plan this far ahead..."

Y/n said with a chuckle as Shinobu turned back towards Sena, the pink haired woman taking a drink from her cup of tea before continuing.

Sena: "From what I've learned from my months here... have been quite disturbing..."

Sena continued, causing Y/n to open one of his eyes, looking towards Sena as she stared down at the table and the teacup inbetween her hands... '

Sena: "You can tell just by looking, but this place really does Worship Hanzaki Daimyojin... but... it isn't a devout respectful type of Worship... It's a Worship built entirely on Fear... The people here, they all gather here because... every single person has had a horrible experience with More Violent Yokai... Or... Demons..."

Sena continued, causing Shinobu to perk up.

Shinobu: "The humans here are all survivors of Demon attacks?"

Sena nodded.

Y/n: "Both the humans and the Yokai, right?"

Y/n asked, sitting up from his lying position, grabbing Shinobu's attention as Sena nodded, a serious expression on the Oni's face.

Shinobu: "Yokai get attacked by Demons aswell?... but I assumed-"

Y/n: "That because Both Demons and Yokai are monsters we don't "Friendly Fire"?"

Y/n said, sending a small glare at Shinobu, shocking her a bit.

Y/n: "*Sigh* Listen... every time I said that I am an Oni, not a Demon, I seriously meant that crap... Yokai are supernatural, but we're still Natural beings... Demons... Aren't... They're corrupted Humans who have obtained Powers not natural to them... Cannibals... True Monsters in Human form... Us Yokai... We're more similar to Humans than Demons are... that's how far they've strayed from the path of nature."

Hibiki explained somewhat angrily as he sat there, his arms crossed and eyes closed as he spoke, a different aura around him than Shinobu had ever noticed before.

Y/n: "Even after describing that... there's an aspect of Yokai that even humans don't know about... Us Yokai, our blood is favorable to demons. It makes them way stronger and tastes delicious to them... it's irresistible... And that Trait... It's one of the few things that's always passed down through the Generations when a Human and Yokai have a child together."

Hearing this caused Shinobu's eyes to widen, as a single word came out of her mouth.

Shinobu: "Marechi Blood..."

Y/n nodded at this, smirking a bit.

Y/n: "That scarred up psychopath of a Hashira you've got has a Yokai somewhere in his bloodline, but that's not important right now. Sena, continue."

Y/n said, causing Sena to nod.

Sena: "As I said before, this town is home to many Yokai and Humans. All of which have survived Demon Attacks... I asked around and realized why they had all gathered here... The Hanzaki Daimyojin... "Protects" them..."

Shinobu: "What?"

Shinobu asked with her eyes widening, while Y/n scoffed.

Sena: "The Salamander Secretes an odd aura... At night it appears as a thick Fog or Mist... The Scent of it seemingly dulls the senses of all creatures outside of its intensity. It basically makes this entire down invisible at night time... This entire town is perfectly protected from all Demon Advances. Even if a demon were to accidentally walk into town, they would subconsciously walk out of it, like how your mind tells you to avoid walking off of the edge of a cliff, but much stronger... I've observed that happen a few times..."

Shinobu: "T-That's amazing! An animal so powerful it perfectly protects an entire town from Demons! That changes so much!"

Shinobu began the discovery of a way to protect people from demons, making her quite literally sparkle with amazement and excitement... only for Y/n to be heard scoffing loudly once again.

Y/n: "And what does it get in return for this Protection?"

Y/n asked, seriously, causing Sena to clutch her tea tightly, The pink haired woman going silent for a while... until she spoke with a bit of pain in her voice...

Sena: ".... Every night... It takes Sacrifices..."

Sena said, causing Shinobu's eyes to go wide.

Sena: "Every single night... In return for its protection... Hanzaki Daimyojin will march into the town... making its way into the houses and consuming people whole... Yokai and Humans alike... All the houses that hold a Hanzaki Marking on it are protected by the mist, and in return are targets for the nightly feasting... most times... it will only take a single person... an old man... woman... people who have already lived full lives... but... every now and then... it cries... When they hear that cry... they know that Hanzaki is starving... and... that night... it will consume whole households... leaving nothing but empty buildings where the people used to be..."

Sena explained with an immensely pained expression on her face as she clutched her tea cup tightly... Shinobu watching the pink haired woman in a mass of shock and horror... it didn't take the biggest leap in logic to realize why she would be reacting this way... especially after lying in such a small town for months on end...

Shinobu: "Why... Why would anyone stay here? Safety from demons just for the chance to get consumed anyway? I... I cannot make sense of that..."

Sena: "Yes.... that is quite easier said than done, especially for a human who is strong... but these people who make this place home... they feel like they have nowhere else to go... That This is the only protection they have whatsoever... to the people here... who don't know of Demon Slayers and have no hope to stand up and fight for themselves... who have no hope of people that will save them... They'll gladly take the Gamble Hanzaki Daimyojin has given them... Because it's the only protection they have..."

Sena said looking at Shinobu with a serious expression, the Insect Hashira quickly gained a small look of realization at this. When suddenly the sound of a bottle being slammed down was heard, causing Shinobu and Sena to turn towards Y/n, a bottle of Sake in hand.

Y/n: "That all?"

Y/n asked simply, causing the Hashira to watch his reaction with intensity, the oni having no visible emotion on his face.

Sena: "Yes... but there is one last thing."

Sena said, pulling out a small notebook.

Sena: "I've recorded all of my findings about Hanzaki Daimyojin here... but there is one thing about it... I've realized... The Crying... Hanzaki Daimyojin only starves itself twice a month... so Tomorrow night..."

Y/n: "Right."

Y/n said as he stood up, putting his hands in his pocket.

Y/n: "Tomorrow night is the deadline then."

Y/n said before he turned and began walking away from the table.

Sena: "Lord Hibiki?"

Y/n then stopped at Sena's voice, not even turning back towards the two.

Y/n: "Get some rest tonight. And thanks for everything Sena. you've done a great job."

Y/n said before he marched off deeper into the house, closing the door behind him as he did.

*don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don...*

Shinobu was seen still watching Y/n as he sat outside, watching the town below... a mass of odd mist surrounding the town... all the while a massive silhouette made its way through the town... the distorted sound of a baby crying being drowned out by the rhythmic beat of the Bachi.

Shinobu continued to watch the Oni from the crack in the door, before she let out a small sigh, closing her eyes as she backed away from the door and began walking away, going deeper down the hall and into the magical house, a pensive look on the Hashira's face as she walked, staring at the ground...

"Hmph... I must say... I don't think I've ever seen a human contemplate so much..."

A familiar voice said, causing Shinobu to perk up as she turned around, only to see Sena approaching her.

Sena: "Usually you all find a problem, think about it for a while and either find a way to ignore it, solve it, or just make it a problem to solve later... It's one of the flawed beauties of humanity..."

Sena said as she walked up to the Insect Hashira.

Shinobu: "... The way you talk about humans..."

Sena: "Yes. I am a Yokai. A Kitsune to be specific."

Sena confirmed as casually as possible.

Sena: "Come with me please."

The kitsune said as she marched past the Insect Hashira, causing Shinobu to follow...

Not long after, the two found themself in a room sitting together, a tense aura around the two as Sena glared at the Demon Slayer, all the while, Shinobu simply stared back with her dead eyed expression... until Sena let out a sigh.

Sena: "... You do understand that if you or your Demon Slayer Corps intend on getting in the way of Lord Hibiki's almighty wish, he will slaughter you all without a second thought."

Shinobu: "Yes. He's expressed that sentiment before..."

Sena: "But I don't think you'd understand... he wouldn't be the only one attacking you... If given the order, I would sever your head from your body right now."

Sena said calmly, threatening the Hashira, causing Shinobu to stiffen up, her hand calmly going down and gripping the handle of her Katana as she closed her eyes and smiled.

Sena: "Calm down. There's a difference between being ordered to do something and knowing that you might be ordered to do it."

Sena said, confusing Shinobu a tiny bit, but as she tried to flick out the base of her blade with her thumb, she found that her Nichiring Blade wouldn't leave her sheath, confusing and causing Shinobu to look down at her blade, only for her eyes to widen as she saw pink fox tail wrapped around her blade, locking the Sheath and blade in place.

Sena: "You came this far to keep an eye on Lord Hibiki and report your findings back to your master... What you find out about Lord Hibiki on this mission will help decide what Action the Demon Slayers will take against him if he pursues his Almighty Wish... am I correct?"

Sena asked, causing Shinobu to simply nod towards the Kitsune.

Sena: "For the concern for my Lord's Divine Goal... and your own Life... I advise that you tell me what you intend to tell your master."

Sena said, not glaring at Shinobu, but giving her a serious expression.

*Ting*

Suddenly an odd sound appeared next to Shinobu, causing the Hashira to look down at the table, only to see a full teacup had suddenly appeared infront of her... Shinobu then looked back up at Sena, only to see the Kitsune drinking from her own cup of tea that suddenly appeared. Shinobu then let out a heavy sigh, as she let go of her Nichirin sword and sipped from her tea.

Shinobu: "... I must say... I am extremely conflicted..."

The insect hashira began, staring down at the tea infront of her as she began.

Shinobu: "Hibiki is immensely powerful, able to master Total Concentration Breathing, and The Flower Breathing Style in a few days... and then he managed to not only do that, but combined the Breathing style with both Wind and Water Breathing, creating entirely new ones... His Goal to me is quite disturbing... A man like him... so violent... and determined when it comes to killing... I fear for a world where he is God..."

Sena: "... But?"

Shinobu: "..... From what I've seen recently... It conflicts with how he normally acts... When I bluffed, threatening to Poison a couple of Mizunoto and a Demon who currently reside in my care... He backed down, as if he really cared for those children... I'm not sure if he's using them for his own benefit... or if he actually does care for them..."

Shinobu explained, her expression as conflicted as her tone of voice as she simply stared down at her cup of tea. Sena was silent as she watched Shinobu for a moment... before she chuckled a bit.

Sena: "Allow me to tell you a story, Ms. Hashira."

Sena began, quickly grabbing Shinobu's attention as the Insect Hashira turned towards her, seeing the closed eyes smile on the Kitsune's face.

Sena: "Long ago... there were two Foxes..."

Sena began as the scene changed.

An old Japanese style painting was seen, showing two small Foxes happily jumping around together.

"The two foxes were siblings. They loved going around playing tricks on humans together using their magic."

Sena narrated as the image changed, showing several paintings of the two foxes, in both human and fox form, tricking, scamming and stealing from different humans.

"But one day... the youngest fox made a fatal mistake... and played a trick on the wrong man..."

Another painting was then seen, as the smaller pink fox girl was seen pickpocketing a menacing suited man... but as she ran away and transformed into a fox... the suited man glared at her with demonic intensity...

"Later that night... the man sent a Powerful Demon to kill the young fox girl... A 3 headed Demon that not even the foxes could defeat with their magic..."

The next painting is seen, showing the Two Fox girls as they came face to face with the massive Three Headed Demon, attacking it with magical flames...

The next scene showed the Brown haired fox girl being lifted into the air by her neck by the demon, a mass of blood covering her body, all the while the smaller pink Fox watched in horror...

The next painting showed the pink fox running away in terror, a mass of brown fox tails covered in blood scattered across the ground as the 3 headed demon chased after the small fox... the limbs of the older fox girl in 2 of its mouths, tears streaming from the pink foxes eyes...

"The young fox ran and ran and ran... she cried... and cried... she could do nothing to save her sister... she was weak... and there was nobody around... She knew about Demon Slayers... but... Demon Slayers don't save Yokai... most Yokai know... Demon Slayers will Kill Yokai the same as they do Demons... to them... all monsters are monsters..."

Sena said as the paintings changed once again, revealing the pink haired fox's crying face... only to fall as the 3 headed Demon towered over her... the last Tail of her sister falling at its feet... the eyes of the demon holding an odd japanese symbol, one that read "Lower Rank 2"... The massive beast lifted its fist, ready to rip the small fox to shreds as its claws erupted into flames.

"The young fox thought her life had come to an end... all because she wanted to have fun with her sister... in a world where Yokai must hide amongst humans... nothing is fair for them... and now... she would be served divine punishment for her existance..."

*DO-DO-DO-DON!!!!*

The sound of a Taiko drum is heard, shocking the Fox... in one moment... the demon was going to smash her to bits... and the next... the demon had been reduced to nothing but a stone statue... slowly turning to dust... as the statues faded away, a figure was seen standing there. His hair as black and messy as his clothes, his eyes a brilliant purple, with two odd taiko drumsticks in hand... he was dirty... but despite all of this... the fox looked up at him in awe...

"In a moment of divine intervention... The fox was saved... a man stood before her... he looked human, but was anything but... that man was an Oni... the man who pledged to become this world's one and only God... Lord Hibiki..."

A few different paintings were then seen, as the fox girl followed the oni. Following him endlessly as he walked from land to land, he defeated evil Yokai and Demons, saving humans and Yokai alike, as he played a song everywhere he traveled.

"The two traveled together for so long together. Soon... 4 years had passed... The oni wanted to keep the Fox girl and all of the people he saved safe... so he found the perfect place, and built a town..."

The next paintings showed the fox girl watching as she sat on a rock, the oni, along with several kappa and a hyosube working together on a mass of construction, building a massive town together as Humans and Yokai with nowhere else to go came in droves.

"By the end of the 5th year, he had finished his safe haven, Ongaku no mura, protected by Yokai, a safe place for any and everyone with nowhere else to go... the Oni acted tough... almost Evil and Malicious... but that wasn't the case... The Oni was kind and caring... he almost acted like a Father to all of the people he now looked after..."

As the story came to an end, the last painting showed a large town built infront of a mountain with a banner sitting on the buildings all holding the mark of Hibiki's Ongekiko. Sena was seen taking another sip from her tea before she opened her eyes, revealing Shinobu's shocked face.

Shinobu: "You... lost your older sister... to a Kizuki...?"

Sena was silent for a moment... before she smiled at Shinobu.

Sena: "You wish to know what Lord Hibiki Plans to do once he's this world's one and only God?"

Sena asked, causing Shinobu to nod. Sena was once again silent as she drank the rest of her tea and stood up.

Sena: "Once he becomes this world's God he intends to do several things... that are his Wishes for the new world... The Second Wish... Is a world where Humans and Yokai can live in Peace."

Sena began before she turned around and got ready to walk out of the room... but...

Sena:"His First Wish.... Is to Dispel the Corruption of Demons... to turn them into a type Yokai who can live without flesh... and bathe in the sun..."

Sena said as she began to walk away... but as she opened the door out of the room, Shinobu's eyes went wide... as an immensely familiar figure stood in the hallway... a gentle smile on her face, with long black hair, wearing the same butterfly hiyori that Shinobu wore now... the figure was transparent as the light of the moon coming from a window shined through her body... the figure's smile grew before Sena closed the door behind her... In an instant, Shinobu ran over and threw open the door the Kitsune had just closed... only to see that the figure was gone...

Shinobu stood there silent for a moment... clenching her fist at her side as a mass of thoughts ran through her mind...

*don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don... don...*

Y/n was seen still sitting outside... watching the town from afar as he tapped his Batchi at his side... when suddenly he stopped... as he stopped... the sound of a distorted baby crying had aswell...

"... 600 Beats..."

Y/n said to himself, as he clenched his Bachi tightly...

Y/n: "10 Minutes..."

A murderous smile appeared on Y/n's face as his eyes shined with a brilliant purple blaze.

"That's All The Time I Have To Kill A God."

 Y/n: "I WON'T LET YOU EAT ANOTHER PERSON YOU SLIMY PIECE OF TRASH! COME OUT AND FIGHT! I CHALLENGE YOU! 
GIANT SALAMANDER GOD! 
HANZAKI DAIMYOJIN!!!!"

Human: "STOP! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!"

Yokai: "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO OUR GOD! WE BEG OF YOU!"

"WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Shinobu: "ALL OF YOU! RUN NOW! YOU'LL BE SWALLOWED!!!"

Old Man: "T-Take me my lord... Please... just let my children live for another day..."

Y/n: "SAVOR YOUR OWN LIFE YOU STUPID OLD MOTHER FU-"

Sena: "LORD HIBIKI!!!!"
