Personality: Hikari is an open-minded girl, she is very skilled and has a face of being stern, but although she does, really she is a  caring and kind individual. She has strong will power and really has her heart of art on becoming the best demon slayer she can be.
Hikari does have a humorous side but you need to get to know her a bit more. On that note, she is known to have a completely different facade. For example. Hikari treats Rengoku as a father figure and is very open and kind to him.

Explanation: Whenever she runs at great speed, this form allows her weapon to make reflect a very bright light that can blind her target and hopefully stun them!

3° "Third form, Hot Rush!"
Explanation: This form allows her to use her breathing style and get a sudden hot rush with in her which boosts up her adrenaline and makes her more aware with all her senses is combat.

4° "Forth form, Shining guidance!"
Explanation: this form works just like Tanjiro when he sees the thread whenever there is an open area on the opponent to strike, but for her its a tiny beam of light.

5° "Fifth form, Scorching Sun Burn!"
Explanation: This form is not yet unlocked for her but it's supposed to be her most powerful form yet once she's done more training, that's her goal!

Background/ Backstory:
"When I was younger I lived in a quiet little town up in the mountains. It was full of many children and many people who lived in harmony and would always help one another when needed.
To the best of my memory I do recall our home being quite big, on top of the mountain.

My family was small yes, with only Myself, a mother, father and my brother, Ichiro who was only a few weeks old at the time.
The Taiyoko family was very respected in many ways, mainly due to my mother being a skilled demon slayer. Being 6 at the time, I had no idea what a demon Slayer was to be honest, all I knew was that my mother was one and that she protected the village everyone lived in.

One day... A couple of strange men found my mother in the forest on the ground not showing any signs of movement. Her past battle with a demon... her open wounds had gotten infected with demon blood thus making her turn into a blood thirsty demon. The beauty in her face no longer there the night she had turned.
I remember it clearly.
My mother had been upstairs recovering for at least a day after that. Me, my father and Ichiro were eating dinner.. we heard footsteps approaching. Behind us was my mother... My possessed mother attacked my father..!
I was terrified but quickly had to snap out of it and bring my little brother to safety.. him and I hid behind a desk.
Father fought my mother back and got cut up and stabbed a few times by her demonic claws.
He ended up killing her..
I watched her fall to the ground with her head cut into two, looking over I saw my mother's 'special' katana that my father used to slice her head clean. I can still hear my father's screams of wollowing sadness in my head.. he was in such despair.. I remember  shaking so much, my hands couldn't stay still.. Than I heard a shaky broken voice. 'Hikari' it said. Looking over, there was my father with a smile on his face looking over at me.. 'come here..' he said. I did as my father told me, trembling as I gently place my brother down and approached him. The tears fell endlessly.
'My little, Hikari, I'm so sorry for what I'm about to ask of you..' he seemed heart broken. Reaching over he placed a hand on my cheek, blood smudged on my face now due to his bloodied hands.
'I need you to grab your mother's Katana..'

I did as told, and when I turned around to look at my father.. he was on his hands and knees. What he said next.. made my heart come to a hault.

'Please, Lift that Katana as high as you can above my head..' his voice shook..
At that moment I knew what he was asking of me, and opened my mouth to hesitate. But his voice raised-

'NOW, HIKARI!-!!'
Swish..

His head was cut clean off..
I was having an attack. The sound of my brothers cries, the blood.. my parents.. I didn't know what I was going to do.. but I knew what I could do.. I packed my stuff, grabbed my mother's Katana, I wrapped my little brother and placed him I'm a swaddle on my back but in a way that he couldn't be seen and headed out in search for help.. I didn't bother the village folk, because I knew they would possibly take Ichiro away into a family who wanted a child.
I knew that meant that I would have to take a much longer journey, but I'd do whatever it takes to make sure me and Ichiro are together..
After much traveling we were found by Rengoku.. He took me and Ichiro in and brought us to his home..

he raised me and Ichiro, and once I told him about our story.. he decided to prepare, and teach me how to become a demon Slayer so I could not pretect not only myself and Ichiro, but for those who need my help, those who need saving!
He trained me hard... And.. I really mean hard.. For over five years.
Me and Ichiro still remained together, heh and currently he's 5 years old while I'm 16..
And Master Ubuyashiki said with just a bit more training, I could be a pillar just like Rengoku.

I'd be...The light pillar.. The youngest to ever join!
Everything is good as of right now..

Now that I'm older, I understand everything thing that happened back then when I was too young to understand. My father didn't make me end his life because he was in grief that he killed mother.. he made me do it so that he wouldn't turn and kill me and Ichiro.. I respect my father, he went through hell and the extreme just to keep us safe.. he was a true man.. I'll fight father, In your honer. And I'll fight.. in mother's footsteps.."

°Hikari takes care of Ichiro as much as possible, but Rengoku tries to do the same so she doesn't have to over work herself with him.

°When Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Insuke are brought to the pillars, she was able to help train them and along the way she taught Zenitsu.. and believe it or not.. She didn't realize she was slowly falling for his terrible attempts to charm her..

°Hikari is actually easily flustered, and ends up going mute. One time Zenitsu got really close and hit him out of the blue.

°Later on Hikari is sent on a mission with Rengoku, and she leaves Ichiro behind with one of the pillars.. On this mission she is sent on a train help defeat a powerful demon. But little does she know that the three she helped train are on the same train, and then she gets paranoid and off guard that Ichiro is not under her own pretection and ends up getting injured by the demon and the mission doesn't quite go as planned..
