Lumina's POV

I sighed heavily as I lay on my bed. I'm at Lucy's apartment. Since I'm in Lucy's body I live here. Its been 3 days since Natsu named me Lumina. It stills bothers me when I remember that I am in Lucy's body.

Apparently, I am Lucy's demon. Then someone pat my head. I looked up to see Asteshia with Ashiee in her right shoulder. "Lucy... you came back" Asteshia said. I glare at her. I slap her hand away.

I sat up straight. Apparently, I am using Lucy's appearance. "Princess Lulu?" Ashiee asked. I glare at them. "You two are Lucy's demon friends, right?" I asked with a straight face. Asteshia's face harden.

"Now I get it. You are Lucy's inside demon, correct?" Asteshia asked. I grinned evily. "You are correct, Delord" I said darkly. She glare at me. "I see. So Haylee used Lucy's demon to take revenge" she said. I chuckle darkly.

"I guess yes. But I got a name too you know... My name is Lumina" I replied. Ashiee raised an eyebrow. "Lumina? Doesnt that mean Light in other words?" Ashiee asked. I glare at her. "Its not me who chose the name. It was that Salamander who chose my name" I said.

They laugh. A vein pop into my name. "HEY! DONT JUST LAUGH AT ME!" I said. They stopped. I sighed. "May I ask why are you here?" I asked. Ashiee fly on my shoulder. "We are here to check on you, ofcourse!" Ashiee said.

I sighed. "So thats why? I'm doing fine so you can leave. I am still finding a way on how to get to Haylee" I said. Asteshia chuckle. "To Haylee? She's in Clocluse, remember? Her home?" She said. My face went white.

Lucy knew.... she knew where Haylee was from the start?! I growl. "THEN WHY DIDNT YOU CAME BEFORE?!!!" I shouted. Asteshia scratched her head. "Uh... you see.. we have business to attend so... sorry Lumina" Asteshia said. My eyes glow red.

"I hate you.." I said. She chuckle. "Ofcourse you do. You are Lucy's demon afterall" she said. I glare at her. "Anyways, leave now" I hissed. She narrowed her eyes. "Hey! As I said! I am here to check up on you!" She said.

I hissed. "You already saw me then leave!" I replied. She sighed. "You don't remember, do you?" She asked. I looked at her questioning. "What do you mean?" I asked. She grinned evily.

"You don't remember that you have illness?" She said. I froze at the statement. How could I forget? I am ill... I head down. "I... I forgot" I said. She put a hand on my shoulder. "But since you are Lucy's demon.. her illness won't affect you" Asteshia said.

I looked away. Ashiee looked at me with a smile. "But yet... I am here to wait for Lucy's return! Then I will heal her starightly" she said. I looked at Asteshia. "She might die"I said. She looked taken. She frown. "Afraid so, yes. She might die" Asteshia said.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE!" Ashiee said. I pat her head. Tears flow from her eyes. "She might.... or.." I trailed off. They looked at me questioning. "Or?" They asked. I looked at Ashiee. "Or I could die instead of her" I continued. They froze.

"In that case.." I looked at Asteshia as she began continuing her sentence. "Lucy will be fully human and there will be no demon blood flowing through her body" she said with tint of happiness. "But" I added. "There will be no Demon Princess ruling Hell" I continued.

Her face dropped. "Yes... that is true.." she said sadly. I smile a bit. "But... if half of us will only die. Lucy will be half human and half demon again" I said. She frowned. "But then... wouldn't Lucy will be caged to darkness?" She asked.

I looked down. "So... there's two choices. Lucy will die and I will overcome her body as a demon or I will die and Lucy will gain her body back but she is fully human wizard" I said. I looked at her. She nodded sadly.

She smile a bit. "But dont worry.. I will find a way to let Lucy and you live together" she said. I smile sadly. "Try to Asteshia. Its okay for me to die... I'm just Lucy's demon side afterall. All you have to do is.. find an another cure for the illness. Then maybe... just maybe... Lucy might remain desame" I said.

She nodded. "You can count on me, Lumina" she said then she dissapear through the shadows. I looked down at Ashiee. She just continue on crying. I pat her head. "Don't be sad, Ash. Princess Lucy will be okay, I promise" I said. Then we sleep through the night.

Why can't I be alive like Lucy is? Why can't Ii be alive? Lucy... wish me good luck on dying... sister..
