2 days after..

Lucy's POV

I was at the guild chatting with Mira-san and Ash while taking a sip with my fruit shake. "Ne, Lucy, aren't you going a job?" Mira asked me. "Natsu hasn't come yet" I explained while sipping my shake. 

Ashiee tag my shirt. "Ne, Princess Lulu? Why do we have to wait for Baka-Natsu?" she innocently asked. "Well, because he's my partner afterall" I said while looking at Ashiee with a smile. She looked at me confuse. 

"Partner? You mean like a dragon mate or lover?" she asked me with crossed arms. I looked away with a gazillions blush at my cheeks. "N-not like that!" I said nervously. 

"Look who's in?" Mira said with a teasing smile. I looked at the door to see Natsu with a big smile at his face with Gray, Erza and Happy at his side walking near me. 

"Luce! Let's go on a job!" he declared. I smile and nodded. Then we all go to the job board and look for a fitting job. "So... what job?" Gray asked. 

I looked and saw a good job. I picked it and gave to Natsu. He just curiously took it and read it with the others. "Well? Is it good?" I asked them. 

Then they just looked at me in a Are-you-kidding way. I gulped. "Beating 200 monsters for 300,000 jewels?" Happy asked. I nodded happily. Natsu looked at me worriedly. 

"It's just beating up 200 monsters. And anyways I won't be coming at your mission.." I explained as they looked at me shocked. "NANI?!" they shouted. 

I giggle a bit. "Well, all I needed was the place of the mission. If you guys wants I could help you out before I go to my demon mission" I explained to them. 

They approved. Then we went to the train station to went to the place called Aily. Then the train arrives and we continued to ride the train for 3 hours which is a year for Natsu. 

Then we finally arrived at Aily. "Lucy, you don't had motion sickness?" Erza asked me in surprise. "Hmm.. maybe because I'm a demon?" I answered unsurely. 

Then we continued to went for the client's house. Minutes Later... we ended up infront of a medium-size house. I knocked the door. Then a woman about 20 opened and greeted us. 

"You must be the wizards who accepted our offer. Please come in" she said as we came inside her house. We sat down at a couch nearby the window. 

Then a man about 30 came infront of us ans sat across us. "Good day, Princess" the man greeted me. I smiled. "I didn't know demon requests these days.." I said with a laugh. 

The man also laugh a little. "Princess, does they know?" the man asked me. I nodded with a smile. "Anneah! Please use soem safe barrier around the house.." the man ordered. 

The woman nodded and proceed. Then the man spoke up. "My name is Alfred. I'm also a demon from Feirra like Princess Lucy here." the man paused for a minute. 

"Well, there are these monsters who kept on attacking our village since months ago" the man explained. "Please help us, Princess" the said with a bow. 

I stood up. "Alfred. My friends here are the ones who accepted the request. I'm here for demon missions" I explained to Alfred with a small sigh. 

Then Alfred stood up. "I'm glad that the princess is here at our very house. Would you want some tea?" he suggested. I smile and accept his offer. The woman gave me the tea. 

I took a sip of the the tea my eyes widen. "Wow. Your tea is very very delicious." I said with a smile. "Ofcourse! It got some blood as toppings" he explained. 

Then I began to stopped drinking. I looked at them in surprise. "Bl-blood? You mean h-human blood?" I asked nervously. They nodded. I began to handed the woman the tea. 

I looked at them seriously. "Fresh?" I asked them. They shook their heads. "This human blood are from the dead humans" they explained. Then I began to be relief. 

"I thought it was fresh humans" I mumbles. They just giggle a bit. "We don't drink fresh human bloods, doh. We're not vampires" they said jokely. 

Then we greeted them our goodbyes and went to the mission. Now, we're headed to the forest. "Lucy?" Erza said. "Hmm?" I replied. 

"What does the blood taste like?" she asked me. Then I looked at the ground. "Taste like.. weird" I said. "Why does demons drinks blood anyways?" Gray asked. 

I looked at them and smile. "I think because we have to atleast maintain our demon powers.." I explained. They just looked at me in confuse. 

"Watcha mean, Luce?" Natsu asked. "I mean. Our demon powers are very dangerous. Maybe that's why some demons died because of their blood.." I said sadly. 

"I mean... because humans use our blood us healing thingies in the past that's why we atleast maintain our blood for not use in healing" I explained to them. 

"So you mean.. your blood can heal?" Gray said surprisely. "In the past, yes, now well.. not much thanks to my human blood" I said while looking away. 

"Even if I wanted to have healing powers but I can't. It's too dangerous for a demon to heal using our blood" I said with a hint of happiness. 

"Sometimes... I even wished I'm not a demon.." I mumble softly which I think they heard. Then we heard a loud roar a head of us. Then we ran to the source of the loud roar. 

As we reached the spot. My eyes widen. I saw not only hundreds of monsters but thousands of them! WTF?! "I thought it's only 200 of them?!" Happy asked. 

I went to my demon form. I summoned my katana as I read their every move. "This is what I came for.." I said. "What?!" they said in unison. 

I stare the monsters carefully. "Thousands of monster who's been hunting down demons at a town called Aily." I explained to them. They just looked at the monsters.

Then one of them spotted us. "Shit!" I declared in surprise. Then the monsters began to run to us and going to attacked us. "Lucy, we'll help you" Erza suggests. 

"Hai. I agree" I said as I began to run and attack them. Slash everyone of them if needed. "Roar of the Fire Dragon!" "Ice Make: Arrows!" "Requip!" my teammates said. 

Then Ashiee began to carry me. "Roar of the Elemental Dragon!" I casted then it hitted mostly 300 of them maybe. "Burning Katana: Slash of the Fire Dragon!" I casted again. 

Then it hitted already a hundred of them. Where is the boss level of this? It's kinda annoys me.. Then after some hours... the battle already ended. We head back to the client's house. 

We were greeted there with some worried faces. They assists us and wrap our wounds cleanly. "Princess, be careful next time" the woman said in a worried tone. 

I smile at her and nodded. "I wonder how could you handle this stuffs.." Anneah mumbled as she wrap my wound at my arm. "She doesn't give up that easily" Ashiee said. 

I looked at her in surprise. I smiled. "Ne, Anneah, are you a mage?" I asked her which brought attention of my teammates. She looked at me and smiles. 

"Princess, I use Demon Earth Magic." she said and continued wrapping my wound. "Why won't you fight back?" I asked her. She just shook her head. 

"I can't. Uncle Alfred needs some assistance and I just can't leave him alone here." she explained. I smiled at her. I put my right hand at her forehead. 

My right hand glows, dark light. "I, Lucy Heartfilia, gives you my blessing to remain healthy and always protect her Uncle Alfred at all times" After I said that the light goes out. 

I put back my right hand at my side. She just looked at me in surprise. "Why did you do that, princess?" Anneah asked. I smiled at her. 

"My blessing. Only demons with kind heart are the ones who only gets my blessing." I explained. Then tears began to flow from her eyes. I wiped it softly. 

"I never got a chance to be with my papa when he was still living." I said in a sad tone. "But yet I hope you two will live freely soon" I added. 

Then Alfred went infront of me and bow. "Thank you very much, princess. You're very different from the other demon princess" he said. That reminds me. 

"Do you know the her name?" I asked him. He nodded. "Her name is Haylee Demia" he said with a mad tone. "She killed my cousin" Alfred added. 

My eyes widen. "She's cold hearted unlike you, she's very bloody. She wants fresh human blood once  a week. She's a heartless demon" Alfred said. 

I looked down. "Haylee, eh? She's very heartless indeed." I added. Then I felt my teammates looked at me worriedly. "Lucy.." they mumbles..

I looked at Alfred and Anneah. "Please stay safe. She might be somewhere in this town. I don't want to cross her yet" I said while leaning at the couch and slowly closing my eyes. 

Will I ever surpass her? I don't know. Maybe she surpass me. I'm weak after all! I'm no right to be Demon Princess in the first place. Could I do this? Could I fight her?

Demon versus Demon. Princess versus Princess. May I atleast know what her magic is? I'm getting nervous just listening on what Alfred just said. Natsu.. please be at my side..
