"Mommy!"

Lisa open her eyes and turn her head upon hearing the voice. "Hye-Ran" she said as she hugged the little girl and kissed her hair. "Mommy, where did you and daddy go? You didn't tell me." She asked as Lisa caress her hair.

She hadn't meet her daughter for two days. Thanks to Jisoo for taking care of Hye-Ran. "Daddy is sick dear, mommy have to take care of him." She said making Hye-Ran turn her head to the bed where Jungkook is laying and run to him.

Lisa follow her as the little girl climb on the bed and went towards Jungkook. "Daddy?" She called out as she moved closer to him but Jungkook didn't answer her. Hye-Ran touch him and shake him a little "Daddy?" She called out again as tears begin to brimmed in her eyes.

"Daddy is sick, dear." Lisa said sadly upon seeing the little girl shaking her father, wanting him to open his eyes. Hye-Ran immediately wipe the tears that just fell as she lay by Jungkook's side and hugged the male. Seeing that Lisa asked "what are you doing, dear?"

Hye-Ran keep on hugging Jungkook "Daddy said he will always protect us, so hye-ran will also protect daddy." The girl said making Lisa go silent and oddly enough, tears slide down her cheeks. Lisa sat on the bed and lay down by Jungkook's side with Hye-Ran in the middle. She hugged both of them and whisper.

"Mommy will also protect daddy."

"A cave?"

Taehyung asked upon hearing Jimin's report. Jimin nod "Rose was there too with me." He said as Rose nod "We had put a barrier there." Rose said "but it won't last long." Jimin said making everyone turn towards them. "Why?" Seokjin asked.

"That crack is connected to a realm that shouldn't appear in this world. To close it, we need Jungkook's magic but that damn hoop just ruined everything. I've tried to destroy it but the hoop is indestructible. We need to find another way." Jimin said as he look at his palm before clenching it into a fist.

"That damn witch, I wish I could burn her alive." Jimin grit his teeth as Rose keep silent, this time, she really don't know how to defend her master. Without saying anything Jimin left the room, leaving the 4 imperial souls there.

None of them speak as they look at each other but the silence didn't last long when someone suddenly came running towards them. "Sir!" They turn towards the male who are panting heavily. "One of the pack at the South river-"

"Had been attacked!"

Lisa grab a sword as she was prepared with the war armour and all. Grabbing her horse, she ride on it and seeing that all of the soldiers are ready along side the general, Seokjin. They look at each other and Seokjin nod.

Lisa turn her head towards Hye-Ran who looked at her with teary eyes. Jisoo holds the little girl, trying to comfort her. Lisa pull her gaze away as she look at Seokjin and nod.

With Lisa leading the soldier, they left to help the pack on the South River. Remembering Jungkook laying on his bed unconscious and a teary Hye-Ran, Lisa hold on her horse tighter and told herself.

"I'll come back. I promise."

Jungkook's eyes flutter open as he find himself alone in his bed. Slowly he sit up and sniff the air, Lisa and Hye-Ran was here. He bring up his palm and touch his chest, feeling his heart beat before moving his palm towards the ring around his neck.

Jungkook slowly stood up from the bed. He look at his palm. He felt different. It had been 100 thousands of years and he almost forgot this feelings. The feeling of being a true-blood. A real one. With no additional strength.

Just the real him.

His wolf's words rang in his head. Back then, with this body, he was so strong and now, it was supposed to be the same. He had transformed before. Jungkook sigh as he went towards the door and left the room. He looked around, the entire hallway was silent.

"Lisa?" He call out but his voice come out rather raspy. Hearing no response he starts walking down the hall "Jimin?" He call out again but still no response. Jungkook frown "where is everyone?" He ask himself.

KRIUKKK

Jungkook's frown grow deeper when he heard that noise. He look down towards his stomach. He touch it and it grumble again. Right, I don't have the Demon Alpha's strength anymore, he would feel tired, sick and most likely... hungry.

"Such a weird feelings." He said to himself, it had been two days, no wonder if he's hungry. Jungkook thought to himself for a moment. Just when he was about to continue walking he suddenly heard a scream. For some odd reason he immediately went on alert as his eyes flash red.

"Hye-Ran."

Hye-Ran screamed as Jisoo take her away. Some beast suddenly appeared out of nowhere and enter the palace. The guards are not enough as most of them had left with Lisa and the others. They got whipped out pretty easily. The guards are mostly injured or unconscious

It was the same species that attacked them at the beach. There's two of them. "Mother!" Eun-ha scream out as both her and Hwan hide under a table. The two beast didn't look at them instead they are focusing towards Jisoo. Mostly hye-ran who are in her arms.

Jisoo look left and right. Both end of the hall is where the two beast are standing. One of it growl and step forwards with it tentacles moving around. Jisoo hold the girl's head as she back of slowly. She had no where to go.

The beast bare it's teeth and growl before attempting to kill her but the beast fell before it could even move. Using it's four arms, the beast get up and shake it's head before looking back. There stood Jungkook, staring fiercely at the beast as he grab the beast's feat.

"Back off." He said before pulling the beast and to his surprise, he actually lift the creature and slammed it to the ground, bare handed. Seeing the scene, the other beast snarl and run towards Jisoo. Thanks to Jisoo's fast reflex, she manage to escape and run towards Jungkook.

Yet the beast didn't stop there and keep running after. Jungkook immediately react and went towards want of the soldier statue that are holding a spear and grab the weapon. Pulling it from the statue, he turn towards the beast and with only one blow-

The spear stab the beast through it's mouth down to it's throat. A loud screech left the beast as it pull itself away from Jungkook. Jungkook let go of the spear as the beast back off and growl in pain. The spear remain in its mouth as it's blood drip down to the floor.

It didn't end there when the other beast get back on it's feet . Jungkook turn towards Jisoo "Take the kids away!" He said. Hearing that, Jisoo didn't waste any time and ran. Saving Eun-ha and Hwan with Hye-Ran in her arm before running towards the nearest room.

Jungkook turn back towards the beast that growl towards him. He place his palm on his chest suddenly felt a stinging pain from it. Jungkook stood there cautiously but the beast just stood there letting out harsh breath.

At the moment, Jungkook don't know what to do. The beast didn't move and the other beast had fell to the floor, breathing weakly. His breath hitch when the other beast suddenly moved but instead of attacking the beast turn to it's partner.

Grabbing the spear with it's teeth. The beast pull the spear out from it's partner and throw it towards Jungkook's side. The beast use it's tentacles and grab it's partner. Just like that, both of the creatures disappeared from his sight.

Jungkook let out a breath as the scene went silent. He glance at the spear on his left. Covered in blood and the blood is black like coal. Jungkook kneel down in front of the spear and touch the blood. When he did, the hoop around his neck glow and shake.

Jungkook grab the hoop when he felt the stinging pain around his neck. His body burn as he suddenly feel like all his bone getting crushed and his flesh getting torn apart. Jungkook gasp for air as his grip on the hoop become tighter.

He shut his eyes close. He don't know why, it wasn't him but he can't control himself. The blood was forcing his power to come out. Not being able to bare the pain Jungkook finally fell and pass out
