(Cassie's POV)

When I woke up, I was in a bed, a very comfortable bed at that.

The walls were white and the air smelled like, well, a hospital.

But that wasn't right, I thought, I couldn't be in a hospital! What happened?

Then the answer to my question came in on two feet, my doctor, doctor Lila.

"I'm guessing your wondering why you are here, Cassie, am I right?" she said like she has the ability to read my mind.

"Cassie, you were in church when you collapsed. We still don't know why exactly but you seem to be in good health now. You can leave in a few hours."

I sighed contentedly, I really did hospitals, to me, they represented sickness and death. Not saving lives like everyone else.

When I was about to fall asleep again, Linnea came into my room. she cried tears tears of joy and wrapped me up in a tight hug. Then she explained what she thought actually happened.

That I was 'possessed' or whatever and that if I didn't fight it it would kill me or whatever.

I honestly didn't care. I was close to laughing at her and at the same time screaming at her for mistaking me for someone so gullible.

But I just nodded along not having enough strength to tell her to stop.

Then a thought occurred to me "hey Linn, where is the rest of the family?"

Linnea rolled her eyes at my habit of interrupting her but answered my question anyways. "Mom and dad have to work. Ori and Caleb are in school. Alex and Leah are at a doctors appointment and I'm on my lunch break. Oh and I just thought you should know, we found out that Leah's pregnant!"

I was shocked, but in a good way "oh my gosh, that's so great!"

Just then Linnea looked at her watch and widened her eyes. "I'm sorry Cassie, but my class starts soon, bye, mom dad and the rest of them should be here soon."

Then she looked as if she remembered something. "Oh and don't tell anyone, but I brought your phone!" she said and as she was on her way out the door she motioned her hands into a 'call me' gesture.

The rest of the time before my family got there, I played my phone. Thank god for Linnea, she was a life saver!
