(Cassie's POV)

The day after I was 'possessed' I went to school. But school was boring.

So I mostly tuned all the teachers out. That was weird for me, though. Because I am usually what popular 'it' girls call a teacher pet.

Which, by the way, I find very insulting.

I was like that for the whole day, even at home while my favourite shows were on.

I was thinking about what sort of trick Linnea and LiliAnne were going to play next.

It was like that for the whole weekend and at church on Sunday was the first time my head was clear.

But that didn't last for long. half way through the service, my vision started to get blurry and, like before, everything went black.

(Linnea's POV)

At church I was singing when I looked over at Cassie.

She was collapsed on the bench with her eyes open and a blank look.

I screamed, it was the only thing I could do.

Then everyone looked at me, like I was crazy.

But then, they looked down to my right and saw the still body of my little sister.

After all of the panic, someone called 911.

When the ambulance arrived I was terrified.

Orianna, Caleb, mom, dad and I rode in the ambulance to the hospital with Cassie.

The whole way there, she was pale and barely breathing.

When we got to the hospital, I told my family I was going to the bathroom but really I was phoning LiliAnne.

"LiliAnne? Help, Cassie just collapsed and the demon still hasn't showed itself!"

LiliAnne made an angry noise "The things scoping her body and mind to see where it can rest permanently. If Cassie doesn't fight it, it will never end!"

"LiliAnne?"

"Yes"

"Will it kill Cassie if she doesn't do something?"

When I heard LiliAnnes answer, a tear slipped down my cheek.

Yes, she said, it would feed on her essence and when it was done, it would leave her body and search for another.
