I Thought Drew Was Bad

"Miria..." Percy was talking to the girl who had just walked up. Her bleach blonde hair was in a bun on top of her head. Lots of makeup outlined her blue eyes. She wore a light blue skirt, a pink blouse, and matching two inch heels.

"Percy! Oh my gosh it's been so long! You just disappeared last year, what happened?" Her voice was high pitched and annoying.

Percy looked down and grumbled, "I had family stuff, then it was summer break."

"You didn't even contact us! We were all so worried! You must have an awful family, taking you away without warning." She said with pity.

"I love my family, that's why I went, and if it weren't for my family I wouldn't have met Annabeth or Jason." I had forgotten Jason was there until Percy brought it up.

"Who are they, your cousins?" She looked at me with distaste.

"Jason is. Annabeth is his sister's best friend, or my girlfriend, you know, the one I told you I had." Percy looked at the board, and seemed to zone out.

"Percy do yo-"

I cut the life sized Barbie off, "I think he's trying to tell you to back off, but just in case you don't believe me I'll say it. Back. Off."

Miria frowned, "Percy are you really-"

Percy stayed focused on the board, "You heard Annabeth. Back off."

Miria huffed then walked off. The class bell rang right after that.

On the way out of class I asked Percy why he was staring at the board.

"Oh I was imagining a boat sailing across it."

Both Jason and I laughed at how weird Percy was.
