My favorite part of the book!

Harry's pov

Isn't good to be in Hogwarts again?

Even if there was a war. It's still a wonderful place to remember it.

"Brings back the old memories doesn't it? " Ron asked

I nodded. "It sure does"

"It only seems like yesterday we got invited here" Hermione sighed

"You were eleven of course. You guys are like eighteen! " Ginny reminded us

We all laughed as we headed to the place where the sorting will begin.

*still Harry's pov *

There were many first years today. And a lot of Gryffindors who are brave.

Why didn't they come fight in the War?

As soon as they we're done sorting the first years Professor Mcgonagall called for our attention.

"Witches and Wizards, " she began Formaly "Hogwarts has invited some students from America, please be nice to them, and now, as I call your name please put on the hat and go to your respected Hogwarts houses"

Then she began "Chase, Annabeth!"

A girl with Blonde hair and Grey eyes with tanned skin went forward and tried on the hat.

"RAVENCLAW! " the hat screamed "DON'T YOU DARE BRING ME CLOSER! "

Annabeth looked confused as she did something wrong and went to the cheering Ravenclaw table.

"Di Angelo, Nico! "

A Goth looking kid went forward to try on the sorting hat.

"SLYTHERIN! " it screamed "HE'S A SLYTHERIN! "

Poor Nico looked as confused as Annabeth did, but went to join the Slytherins.

"Grace, Jason!"

A tall blonde kid with blue eyes came forward to try on the hat, he reminded me of all the jocks I saw in my old muggle school.

"RAVENCLAW!" the hat shouted "Don't get any closer!"

He looked at it like Really? But went to join the Ravenclaws.

"Grace, Thalia!"

"Just Thalia, say my last name again and I'll snap your neck out! "she warned

"Geez, she's scary" I heard Ron mutter

"SLYTHERIN! " the hat yelled

Thalia didn't look happy with the hat yelling, so cursing in a different language, she joined Nico.

"Jackson, Perseus!"

A guy who looked like me, was only two feet away from the hat when the hat yelled "GRYFFINDOR! "

Perseus, turned his direction to the Gryffindor table and sat between Hermione and Neville

"Levesque, Hazel! "

A cinnamon haired girl with Gold eyes put on the hat.

"GRYFFINDOR! " The hat shrieked

She looked like someone made fun of her mom and looked startled but made her way to our table and sat directly in front of Percy, they started talking immediately.

"McLean, Piper! "

A strikingly beautiful girl with brown, choppy hair and color changing eyes sat on the stool and tried on the hat.

"SLYTHERIN! " It shouted once again

She shrugged and sat beside Thalia.

"Valdez, Leo! "

When professor Mcgonagall called for him, I heard a slight groan of frustration from one of the Slytherins, Drew Getaway, probably.

"HUFFLEPUFF! " The hat declared

Leo skipped going to the cheering Hufflepuff. I had a feeling he was supposed to be Ravenclaw, I guess he wasn't that studios.

"Zhang, Frank! "

A burly, big man who looked like a Chinese Canadian, placed the hat in his head.

"Hufflepuff! " the hat decided.

Frank put the hat down and went to join Leo.

Dumbledore explained the rules and made us sing the Hogwarts song and sent us to bed.

First day of school ...

I can't wait!
