Hermione's POV

Last night Percy and Nico were having Tartarus dreams again. I get the demigod dreams too, but I cast a spell on myself so that I don't scream or cry out. I walked into the demigod tower to wake them up but they were already sitting around the ping pong table.

I told them we should go to the Great Hall because we needed schedules and breakfast. As we walked down they told me about how Draco apparently had nightmares last night too. I was worried.

Draco wasn't just a son of Athena, he also happened to be my biological twin brother. When we arrived in the Great Hall, the Gryffindor table started whispering and pointing at us

Percy fixed them with a glare that sent shivers down everyone's spine. I walked over to where Harry and Ron were sitting and started to eat. I was lifting a forkful of pancakes when thunder rumbled.

"Wonderful" I muttered "8 years and this is the first time I have to."

"Whadyasay?"Ron said around his mouthful of food.

"Nothing." I said. Harry gave me a suspicious look and I glared at him while opening a window to all my horrible memories. They say that the eyes are windows to the soul. With enough practice, you can open a direct link between them. He looked closer and shivered.

"How did you do that?" he asked.

"Practice"I said while getting up and burning a part of my food. Ron spluttered.

"Wha-you too?Why is everyone doing that?"

"Well," I said "The d-uh...exchange students religion is very curious and I want to try it."

"You're bonkers but ok." he said. I called out to the other demigods that were at Hogwarts.

"You probably have to burn your food. I had to." I saw Draco trying to eat but every time he got close to his mouth, thunder rumbled. He put down his fork in frustration and went up to Professer McGonagall.

Professor Sprout came around with schedules. I used the transformation spell I had learned to turn my schedule to Greek, but to anyone else it was in English. I saw the demis trying to read their schedule and did the spell on all of them. They looked at me gratefully. I smiled back at them as Percy said,

"Hey let's go to the lake!"

Harry's POV

I heard Percy tell the others that he was going to the lake. I ran up and grabbed my invisibility cloak. I put it on as I ran, finding them standing in the entrance hall.

Nearly Headless Nick was there bowing down to Nico and saying "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Don't tell your father. Don't send me there." Nico hissed to him looking mad,

"I won't if you act normal. And pass that on to the other ghosts. You're going to blow our cover."

"Yes my lord." Nick said while backing away still slightly bowing. What cover? Hmmm. I followed them down to the lake. Suddenly Nico stopped. He whipped around and grabbed the cloak, pulling it right of of me.

"What are you doing with Thanatos's cloak" he said. "You know what? Nevermind. But I'm giving this back to Thanatos."

"But it's mine! I inherited it." I cried while thinking 'who is Thanatos?' Nico nodded. "But who's was it before. And I don't mean your father." I thought and said

"Ignotus Peverell." Nico sighed and looked annoyed. "But who gave it to him?"

"Death" I said. "Right. And another name for Death is Thanatos. I owe him a favor. But if I give this back, then I won't owe him anything." Nico told me.

"But you can't use MY cloak to pay off a favor. And how do you know Death?" I said.

"Trust me. If you owed him what I owe him, you would do anything to get out of it. And I know him because..." he glanced at the others with a worried expression and said to them, "Τι πρέπει να πω?" (What should I tell him?)

Hermione responded by saying "Δεν μπορούμε να πούμε αυτόν η αλήθεια. Πες του ότι ξέρετε Θάνατος λόγω της υπέρ."(We can't tell him the truth. Tell him that you know Thanatos because of the favor.)

Nico said back, "Εντάξει."(Ok.) He turned to me and said,"I know him because of the favor I mentioned." I glared at him. When he glared at me, it was like Hermione's glare, only 10 times worse.

"Yea ok." I ran back up to the castle and stood there watching as they continued on to the lake. Wait a minute. How did Nico know I was there under the cloak? Hmmm.

"Maybe I could use a Disillusionment Charm?" I said, thinking aloud.

"I wouldn't if I were you, mate." Ron said as he passed by me on his way to the lake. I said

"Whatever." to him. He looked at me and continued down. As soon as he was far enough away I cast the Disillusionment Charm and ran after him.

I sat down and watched as Percy dove in. Ron freaked out saying,"Wha-he just dove in! In his clothes!" Piper said,

"Calm down. he cast a spell before so he can stay under for a long time and not get wet. Jason cast the same one."

"I did? Oh yea I did." Jason ran to the lake and jumped in the lake. I would swear that I saw the lake indent as he went under water.

Percy's POV

As I went down, a giant squid came up to me. He spoke in my head saying, "My Lord. It is an honor to have you here. Come and let me show you around." Suddenly Jason swam up surrounded by a thin bubble of air. I immediately strengthened the water around it so that Jason could breathe better.

"Hey man. What are you doing down here?" I asked him.

"Well, Ron came down too and so we had to invent a spell that allows you to breathe and not get wet down here. They sent me so that it would seem more believable." The squid swam closer and told me,

"I will show both of you around. Follow me" and swam away. I pointed at the squid and said to Jason,

"He's going to show us around." We swam after it. The squid showed us it's home and the mermaids. Suddenly a hippocampus swam up and said to me,

"My Lord. The Daughter of Athena by the name of Annabeth sent me to tell you that you and the Son of Jupiter by the name of Jason should come back up to the surface." I looked at Jason and repeated the message.

He got a worried look on his face and we both swam up with the squid and the hippocampus following. When we got there, we saw chaos.

Two hellhounds, four gryphons, and the Nemean Lion had attacked. I turned to the squid and hippocampus and told them to go get help. I ran out of the water while uncapping Riptide. Jason had already flown in and was attacking the gryphons. I saw Nico passed out on the ground next to a puddle of shadows and Will fighting off a hellhound that was trying to get to him.

Rachel, Calypso, and Annabeth were attacking the gryphons, while everyone else was trying to kill the Nemean Lion with no progress. I ran over to help them and shouted,

"Aim for it's mouth." No one heard me. Where were the freeze-dried food packets when you needed them? I felt to see how much moisture was in it's throat. There was plenty. I condensed all of it into a ball and shaped it until it fit the throat exactly. Then I held the water there until the lion stopped breathing and fell over. At that point, I passed out.
