Hi! I would have had this out sooner, but I just started school this week. I'm a freshman now! Starting school again was kinda rough but I've been writing throughout the week.

Nico had walked about halfway to his cabin before realizing that he had no idea what to pack.

The boy swiveled on his heels and charged right for the Ares cabin in the hope to find Hazel, who had decided to join Frank before packing herself.

With how fast Nico was walking it was almost to be expected when he ran head first into someone.

A very pretty someone.

"Woah! You alright there Neeks?" Will asked, voice full of concern.

"Yeah, sorry about that..." Nico trailed off.

"What got you in such a rush? We don't need to leave until tomorrow you know." Will said.

"About that, do you think you could help me pack? I have no idea what to bring. I was going to ask Hazel, but she's with Frank."

Will lit up like a Christmas tree before he spoke. "Of course! Lead the way, Nico."

If Will was going to say his name like he single-handedly strung the stars to the sky, then Nico couldn't possibly be at fault for blushing.

The boy's short walk soon came to an end when the door to the Hades cabin came into view.

Nico opened the door for the blond to come in, before walking over to his side of the room.

They stood in somewhat awkward silence for a while before Will finally spoke.

"So, let's begin shall we?"

All in all, it took about one and a half hours to destroy Nico's closet, pack, and fix the remains of his closet once more.

But Will did it with a smile. He laughed and joked the whole time, and made sure that Nico never thought he had bothered Will by asking for help.

Could you even blame Nico for the butterflies in his stomach?

Will made Nico feel like he was on top of the world. He had rarely smiled until the sunshine boy waltzed his way into his life.

Nico wouldn't trade him for the world.

Sadly, they had to leave the comfort of cabin 13 and join the rest of the camp for dinner.

They walked slowly, just a bit too close together and those few inches of space between them was driving the son of Hades crazy.

He wanted to get closer. To hold Will's hand, to kiss him on the cheek, and bury his head into the other boy's shoulder when he's embarrassed.

But for now, all Nico can do is pine from afar and internally scream at how close the two are.

The dining pavilion is quite busy already, as the two are ready to go to their respective tables, they get called over to a different table by Percy, where the rest of the quest people are sitting.

Nico and Will walked over to the table, Will sat down next to Reyna while Nico sat on his other side.

It was silent for all of five seconds when Percy said, "Chiron wants us to make a plan for this quest."

"How can we plan for it if we have no idea what's going on? Not really anyways." Piper spoke.

"We don't?" Frank replied, though it sounded more like a question.

"Who needs a plan anyways, quests never seem to follow them anyways. Something always goes wrong."

"Plans are very important Thalia! You always need a plan." Annabeth spoke passionately.

"Wow Annie, didn't realize you were head over heels for plans." Leo joked, which earned him a death glare from Annabeth and an elbow to the ribs from Hazel.

"We're getting more information tomorrow guys, we can start making a plan then." Will spoke with authority, s voice was strong and serious.

Nico thought it was hot. Not like he would ever say that out loud of course.

"-should be our number one priority, right Nico?" Will finished.

'Right, not the time to be daydreaming about pretty blond boys' Nico thought to himself.

"Yeah of course." Nico said quickly, not knowing what he was agreeing to.

"We should all go to sleep by curfew then, we have a long day tomorrow." Reyna spoke.

The group nodded and finished their food.

One by one everyone slowly left dinner and made their way down to the amphitheater.

Will and Nico stood at the same time, which elicited a small laugh from the taller boy, making Nico blush a bit.

"After you." Will did an overdramatic bow, gesturing Nico forward.

"Why thank you, my kind sir."

The boys made their way down to the theatre slowly, whispering conversation back and forth.

Once everyone was seated at the campfire, the announcement began.

"Another prophecy was spoken earlier today." Chiron started.

People immediately started whispering to one another in excitement.

"We have already chosen the people to go on this quest. Based on the importance and danger of the quest, we have decided to choose more experienced campers. Please do not be offended for not being sent on the quest, it is for your safety."

"But they don't care about ours?" Jason scoffed quietly.

"The quest called upon eleven demigods. We have elected Thalia Grace, Reyna Ramirez-Arellano, Leo Valdez, Hazel Levesque, Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Piper Mclean, Nico Di Angelo, Frank Zhang, Annabeth Chase, and Will Solace."

"But Will has never been on a quest before!" One of Athena's son's shouted.

Will visibly shrank in on himself. Without even thinking, Nico quickly gripped Will's hand, squeezing it tightly.

Nico didn't see the small smile and blush that appeared on Will's face.

"Please do not question the people that have been chosen. That is all for tonight, thank you." Chiron then walked away.

The campfire in the middle was burning bright and big with the other camper's excitement.

Yet all Nico could feel was dread.

Will had decided to walk Nico back to his cabin before going to his own.

They were so close their arms were grazing each other, and Nico had to resist the urge to intertwine their hands once more

"I'm glad you decided to stay this time." Will spoke suddenly.

"What do you mean?"

"After the Titan War, you were here for a little bit, but you just disappeared again. Camp felt a bit dimmer without you here."

"We never spoke before the Giant War though." Nico said, a bit confused.

"That doesn't mean I never noticed you, and Nico, I noticed you everywhere." Will stopped and turned to Nico.

"What do you mean you noticed me?"

Will took a deep breath before continuing.

"I notice the way you walk like you own the whole world and know it. I notice the way you can't quite say Will so it sounds a bit more like Weel, which is adorable. I notice the way your eyes light up when you see something you think is amazing. I notice the way you bite your lip whenever you get nervous or are thinking. I notice how when you get frustrated you tug your hair and dig your nails into your palms. I see you Nico, and I like every bit of you. I love how you rant and how you scrunch your nose when someone compliments you. I adore it when you blush because someone complimented you, and your voice. Nico, If I could only hear one thing for the rest of my life, it would be your voice. I've fallen for every little bit of you, Nico.

Nico Di Angelo has never been good at words, but he does know how to show his emotions through actions.

And Nico decided the best way to show Will Solace how far he's fallen for the boy was to kiss him.

He threw his arms around Will's neck and pulled him down and placed his lips right on Will's.

It wasn't fast, or full of passion but rather slow and deep, Nico poured his heart into the kiss and it felt amazing.

It felt like a stone in his gut pulling him down in the most suffocatingly beautiful way.

Will kissed back near immediately, his arms automatically going around Nico's waist.

When they pulled apart they rested their forehead together and simply stood in silence.

"I fell for you the moment I laid my eyes on you." Nico whispered.

Will simply leaned back in for another short kiss.

Eventually, they did have to let go and head back to their cabins, but this time they were hand in hand as they made it to the door of cabin 13.

Before Nico walked inside, Will asked a question.

"Nico?"

"Yeah Will."

"Would...would you do me the honor of being my boyfriend?" He asked quietly.

Nico's smile was blinding.

"I would love to Will."

When Will made his way back to the Apollo cabin, he was practically glowing.

What a lovely way to start a quest.

You guys better not give me crap about the wait, because you just got 1,500 words of solangelo fluff because I love you all that much.

I hoped you enjoyed it! The next chapter will be them starting the quest. It will be out sometime in the next week, just not sure what day.

Any preference on who's pov is next? It can't be a hp character until chapter 4, but any of the demigods going on the quest is totally ok!

Also, I'm sorry for cutting out Calypso, but I don't think she had much of a role last time, so I feel like it may be better this way, plus now we have frazeleo, which is one of my fav ships actually.
